Pros: Lots of features

Cons: Not intuituve or flexible enough for day to day operations.
Too many restrictions on in house system administrators.
System performance is not good at all.

Overall: So after 4 years of being loyal Booker customers/users and thousands of dollars paid for their lackluster service, we have decided to jump ship and started looking for a more reliable & less restrictive online booking software.

We have had our complaints about Booker since day one because of how it is very restrictive on what our spa system administrators are allowed to do. We have always gotten the usual "oh you can not do that because we want to advice our clients on best business practices." Then we will counter by asking the Booker rep if they realized that the actual management team on site at the spa would know what's best for our day to day operations? Which we they always point us to their make recommendations page or they would claim to submit it to their development team, which neither ever received any follow up. So after many attempts to get them to make their system more intuituve and flexible for our day to day operations, we quite frankly gave up and just dealt with the system. And now we have their system performance take a rapid decline, which started well over a year ago. We even purchased new computer systems and increase our internet speeds in hopes of speeding up the system but nope, that didn't help what so ever. Their customer service has also gone to poop, the reps use to be somewhat knowledgeable on how to use Booker and nice. Now they don't seem to care about your issues and pretty much do not accept any responsibility or accountability on behalf of Booker on how the system performance has gone to poop, right along their customer service. Just last night when I inform a rep that we our fed up with the system performance and the numerous temporary "work arounds", that we have no choice but to start looking for another service. They replied with "sorry to hear that, let us know what we can do to help with the transition." Really!?! That was the cherry on top.

Booker has failed to realize that we are their loyal paying customers and their poor performance is being transferred on to our loyal paying customers which we will not accept because we do value our loyal customers. So some words of advice to Booker on best business practices, don't screw your customers.

Recommendations to other buyers: Use a paper appointment log instead of Booker, the log will take more accountability & responsibility than Booker has.

Comments: Booker offers great features and is very user friendly. However, our experience lately has been one of great challenge. There are many service interruptions, delays, and overall slow performance.

Pros: Easy to use,

Cons: network issues,printing issues all the time

Overall: Been a user for 3 years and the lack of money and support spent on this sytem shows just how little they care about the customer. Mobile app stink and always has been like that all the time
The main system is frequent to network issues which kills your business You have customers waiting to checkout that end up having to wait for you to figure out how to do a written ticket , and you have to apologize for this issue ,Booker shows a staus of sytem but manipulates it because it does not show issues relating to checking people out or loging in

Then my favorite is the printer issue which gets messed up once a month all of a sudden its printing half a receipt or does not print at all you can only use firefox and if you have issues they blame it on the browser setting or because you did not purchase your star printer from them then they do not want to help . again this is a major pain in the ass

Even when they have major issues they take no accountability on how employess and customers are affect ,

Recommendations to other buyers: After finnaly being fed up i started looking around at other software there seems to be more to choose from then there was 3 years ago , Remember your POS sytem is or will be the heart of your business and any issues will also reflect on your business and sanity I threatned to leave this sytem if it did not improve ,Booker said had no response just the normal thank you for your patiience

Comments: Not sure what the issue has been over the last few months, but the product has been running extremely slow. We call and they say they are working on it, that's it, almost every day lately it has been slow or down completely. Nothing you can do, customers cannot pay, you cannot checkout clients, book appointments or check in clients, horrible for customer service.

Cons: The entire system.

Overall: I'm a receptionist at a spa and booker has been off and on for the last week. We've had booker for almost two years and it's been a mess. When it's working it's fine but that's only 20% of the time. Our clients honestly just pitty us when we say our computers are down because it happens at least one a week if not more. Messages will pop up at the top of the screen saying booker is investigating the slowness but then nothing comes from that. Due to this appointments don't show up on the schedule because when the system is going in and out it's unclear if the appointment is actually booked.
Inventory is also difficult with this software. We tried to use Booker once and it threw the numbers off so badly it took two months to correct it. Easy to say we will NOT make that mistake again.
They claim to have a live chat for support but now you have to create a whole new account to be able to chat. And when you try to create that new account it doesn't take you through all the steps so you never actually get to use the live chat.
I could go on for hours with complaints honestly. Bottom line, don't waist your time.
We are currently looking for another system to use.

Recommendations to other buyers: Just don't waist your time. You will regret it.

Cons: Reliability is terrible. Customer service is worse. You're locked into using their credit card processor.

Overall: I have been using Booker for almost 3 years now and I have come to depend on it to run my holistic health practice. It has many excellent features and it is highly customizable. The problem is that for much of the time over the last three weeks it has not been reliable. It runs very slowly lately and is often completely unresponsive. The company doesn't really seem to care that your livelihood depends on being able to schedule patients and take payments quickly and efficiently. At best they will credit you for a portion of your service fees if you can provide them with enough proof that their system wasn't working! Nonsense. Totally unreliable system and lousy customer service. Find another provider.

Recommendations to other buyers: Don't use it if you have a busy practice with multiple practitioners and need to do things in a timely manner. Find something else.

Comments: Booker started off ok and promised a lot. However, has been having technical issue 2-3 times a week during peak business hours. The problem generally is a result of extremely slow processing. The Booker System slows down to the point where our client's order timeout! Meaning that we have been unable to check out clients and/or schedule clients when needed leaving us with an extremely long wait time. Not ok.

Comments: Booker was a decent software, not enough bells and whistles, but it did the job. I wasn't a fan of the reports and I felt like the program could be slow sometimes. We have a salon and a spa and we had some difficulty booking some of our unique services. All in all it was a good product but too expensive. We are a Canadian company and didn't love how each month our bill would fluctuate. It would have been nice to have Canadian pricing for this unit.

Comments: I have been using Booker for the past 14 months. I have a large salon day spa, and until Booker came along, our reception desk was covered in large paper appointment books. Coordinating appointments was a huge hassle, especially when I had clients in for consecutive spa services. We would have hairdressers not show up because they didn't check their book the night before, we had clients who didn't show up because they couldn't cancel or reschedule their appointment with ease...it was so much stress, I think I had just gotten used to it, because I ran my business this way for over 30 years. Then along came BOOKER! I was terrified about going on line for so many reasons. Im in my late 50's and not very savy on a computer. I was afraid it would be too difficult to use. Jack was my rep, and he walked us through every step. It was so easy to solve any problem with tech support. Now, my business runs like a dream! No excuses, we all have access to our schedules no matter where we are. Clients love the ease of online booking, and the new system allowed my receptionists to do more customer service, since they don't have to be worried about the headaches of keeping paper books. I'm starting memberships soon, and have taken a couple of on line classes through Booker. Another challenge, but I have total confidence in the support I get from Booker to move forward and MAKE MORE MONEY! I urge you to consider using this system, I am certain you will love the way it changes your operation, and keeps you on top of your business!

Cons: Reports on efficient enough for me to run my business.

Overall: Booker could be more business savvy. Meaning...make the business side more efficient for the business owner to run the business. Reports need to be more user-friendly. Pre-book information needs to be more efficient. Service provider productivity percentages need to be more efficient. As a business owner I don't really know where I stand as far as percentages how we're doing on a daily basis unless I run a report and then the reports aren't as detailed space as I'd like them to be. I can't look at my business at a glance in Booker and see how I'm doing

Recommendations to other buyers: Make the functionality of the software easier for the business owner to run the business side of their business not just to book appointments.

Pros: Online booking, ability to change things easily.
Excellent customer support!!! Don't change it.

Cons: Vantiv, was much happier when they were Mercury. Poor customer support and very bad at mailing necessary documents or helping their clients (me!). Disputes arrive 2 months late and still didn't receive 1099.

Overall: Great Customer support. Works with ease.
Not too thrilled with the Vantiv credit card processor customer support.

Recommendations to other buyers: Check out the suggestions. I leave them all the time to make booker a better product.

Pros: Booker is one of the best booking systems out there but it has its limitations.

Cons: Needs to get chip reader

Overall: Booker is great but they need to keep up with technology. I now have to use clover and pay for using their service in addition to paying a lot for my internet. If booker had its own chip card reader this would not happen.

Pros: Easy access in the cloud from where ever I am.

Cons: We can't use the app and we can't charge our credit cards because we are international.

Overall: Its simple and easy to use. There are still a few things I need to understand to optimize our experience. The new on line chat has been very helpful to learn new tips and shortcuts.

Comments: Booker is fairly easy to use and is well organized in the reports that so you can easily access data. The system is sometimes slow and can definitely have glitches however it is a huge improvement from our last system. I do a lot of orders and imputing products has been very easy and efficient. We have had some issues with not being able to book or having the system crash for a couple hours. This however has not happened enough to make us unhappy with the product.

Comments: It gets the job done. It's super easy to use, once you learn all the quirks. Things change a lot (sometimes the "formulas" are displayed in the main profile, sometimes they're not and then it changes back). I'm not in charge of which software we use, but it's fine.

Pros: It does keep track of my clients visits relatively correctly.

Cons: A lot of things, but MOST of all how much it costs for how crappy it is

Overall: Do not use this program, it's a ridiculous joke. The customer support is almost non existent, i'll send and email and not hear back for 4-5 days. The program will occasionally just kick me right out for no apparent reason, the cost is WAY too much for so little that it does. None of my financial reports match each other even within the program itself, the 'end of day' and daily report show different amount for deposit and credit card batches. I could go on, but just DON'T use this program it's awful

Comments: It's really easy to navigate and use. I love getting text message notification of a booked appointment so I don't have to be glued to my emails. The confirmation and reminder emails help save me time and ensure that people show up - I almost never have no shows. Their support staff are wonderful if I have questions they get back to me promptly, they also have a very good help section that answers a lot of questions.

Pros: quick (when working) and easy to use. makes booking appt easy online and with an app.

Cons: crashes so we are unable to see appt, check clients in or out. or when it moves slow.. we're a fast pace business so it can get frustrating and upset clients.

Overall: Only frustration is how much it crashes esp on weekends when were are swarmed with clients checking in and out. It's frustrating when the internet works fine but our booking system is going slow our crashing.

Pros: Lots of great features like online booking, variety of reports, detailed client profiles.

Cons: At least once a month the server or something goes down in the middle of business hours and upsets the functionality of the software.

Overall: I love mostly everything about Booker. Very easy to use and lots of great features. Our clients love the online booking feature! Ever since we switched to Booker, it has been really helpful for us in a lot of aspects as Booker does offer things our previous software did not. It's also very convenient that we can log on from a tablet, PC or phone to view schedules. Overall very happy with our experience!

Comments: For the past 4 years we have been using booker software and I can't say enough. I own a medi spa in Huntington, The Skin Clinic. My clients love the online features, I love all the reports and the dashboard helps me see where I need to improve . Cons: auto population issues and website crashing

Overall: I use booker at milk + honey spa, i am a concierge. My biggest issue with booker is the auto population function. It always changes the box in which i try to input information and it makes the functions of booker more complicated than it has to be. would be great if it would do this.

Pros: The information it allows us to capture on a client.

Cons: Just too clunky. If I'm one letter off a client's name on which I'm searching, nothing comes up. No suggestions.

Overall: Rebooking a service takes 4 - 6 clicks. Too long. One and Done needed.
I used to be able to call in and get an expert or chat room. Now I get a response that tells me how long I have to wait until a 'live' person gets back to me.

Pros: Ease of use. Love being able to access with apps or online. Allows us to book rooms, so we don't double book, which used to be an issue with our previous system. It also provides a space to write notes and has a good waiting list option.

Cons: Sometimes there are issues with notification to clients. It seems like it gets addressed, but there seem to be frequent "bugs" being worked out. When it works, it is great though

Overall: Booker has been great and has improved our overall "no shows" decreasing. Booker allows clients to be notified, through email or text, about their appointments. This is very efficient and freed up a lot of time for our receptionist, who no longer makes reminder calls. I love being able to access Booker on any phone / tablet/ ipad/ computer. It is easy to use and keeps our business running more smoothly.

Cons: Some random lag and downtime. Customer Check-In and Check-Out process could be more initiative.

Overall: I done a very throughout research before finally made the decision to go with Booker. It's been an entire year since my company started using Booker. Our revenue has increase by 100% in one year, a large part has to do with Booker. The online gift card purchase is also a breeze. I'm pleased to announce in 2016 my company has sold over $10,000 in Gift Cards! That is 10 times from the prior year!

Recommendations to other buyers: Keep on renovating and improving! I have been contacted by Mind and Body countless times. It seems they are slowly catching up. Last year you guys were miles ahead of them, keep it up.

Comments: Booker is a great site to use. It is currently used for Spa services however we do deal with issues sometimes when the program will not work or can not check out a client for no reason. I feel that reaching out to customer service has done nothing for me whenever I email.

Pros: Easy to schedule, people can book online

Cons: When you try to run a membership bulk report, it does not work. You have to manually charge each customer. I don't like that when you enter tips, it automatically enters a persons name in the amount section, and you have to delete it, and enter a number. I have contact Customer Service with no response on this.
I am beyond frustrated that Booker insists that a chip reader is the responsibility of the merchant, and the merchant is adamant it is Booker. Booker told me they would send me a free chip reader 6 months ago, and whenever I ask about it, they are "looking into it". Seriously, this can't be that hard.

Overall: I have used Booker for the past 6 years. I used to love it, but then they started taking away the reports that were so beneficial to businesses without a replacement report.
The chat feature use to be great, now there is no one to chat with, and if you send an email it is days before you get a response. It is frustrating that such a good program has so many flaws now. I had an issue with someone stealing all of my clients information by forging my name on a transfer of ownership, and Booker never even contacted me personally to verify if this was legit. It took 4 months and a lawyer to get this sorted out, because NO ONE would help me.

Recommendations to other buyers: Listen to your customers when they tell you something that isn't working, and respond to them.

Pros: Ease of use for staff and clients. Our clients love being able to book an appointment. Tracking inventory and back bar is simple. The setup is easy. Creating specials with the marketing tab is a bonus!

Cons: I wish the software allowed us to block specific clients from booking appointments.

Overall: Booker has allowed me to grow a 3 person massage therapy practice into a day spa offering massage therapy, facials, waxing, hair salon, nail salon, yoga, and so much more. I was also able to increase my retail sales. It's a snap to keep track of inventory, retail and back bar.

Overall: I love how it's so easy to use either from your business phone or cell phone. Every informantion that you need from your customers, you are able to have at the tip of your fingers. The employees have easy eccess to the schedule and it saves them time to go back and forth to the front desk. Love how it sends a text message/e-mail to the clients to confirm their appointments. Pros: Integration of scheduling, merchant services, marketing, reporting. Everything I need in one place to run the business. I don't have to import or export information to run reports or go through multiple programs to send out reminder texts, ring up a client to check out, and check hours worked by employees.

Cons: There are a few things that the system just doesn't do intelligently where I have to override certain scheduling rules (Example: if an appointment was scheduled in room 2 with one girl, and i want to change it to another girl, it will not automatically switch it to room one. It will just say it isn't available.) So I have to go through round-about ways to override it to get it done, but those are just nit-picking.

Overall: I love using Booker because it truly does everything I need it to. Not only is all your customer tracking in one place, I can easily override a schedule, track inventory, check my estheticians clock-in and out times, but all the merchant services and marketing with Frederick is also build in to make it a complete system. If I ever have a question, there are so many way to easily get it answered. Usually if I'm wondering, someone else has been too- so I can find it in the community boards, but if its truly technical, the chat is a quick and convenient way that I can still answer the phone as it rings, because the help line isn't tying up the phones or my hands. Frederick tracks emails, so if a client says they never got a reminder, I can double check that the system did indeed send one and with texts working better, more clients are loving the frequent reminders. Having the app option allows me to track the schedule from home also. Truly, I've looked at other software programs, but they just can't stand up to what Booker is able to do. Booker is just faster, easier, sleeker, and more intelligent.

Recommendations to other buyers: Use Frederick. Since implementing it, we have had SO many clients tell us they LOVE the text reminders because these days we all get 8 million emails and they just get buried. Texts catch our attention and because its automated, you don't waste man hours sending them out.

Pros: Ease of use can be accessed remotely by all therapists, no additional cost per therapist for use, HireFrederick program

Cons: Online booking inconsistency with picking a therapist and it not being a request vs no preference and still having to choose a therapist. Glitchiness! Slowness! Taking payment in advance opens time slot for others to book in. Feeling stuck with their credit card processing or high fees to use another one with better rates

Overall: I like using Booker for its ease of use. It can get confusing since there are multiple ways to do the same task, though. However, with different learning styles, it is a pretty easy system to teach to people. It is very beneficial as well to allow all therapists to be able to check schedules from home. Our clients like the email and text appointment reminders. We also like the hire Frederick program. It is an easy way to market and bring back old customers or get new ones to rebook. The email they receive after their services is also beneficial for us to understand customer satisfaction and we can immediately respond to negative feedback, grow, learn and maintain customer relations. Their customer service is very good. They are always very prompt with responding to an issue.
My problems with Booker are they have a tendency to glitch often or significantly slow down the system so we have had to resort to either trying a mobile device or handwriting credit slips on occasion. We have also had issues with the online booking and how one picks a therapist which makes things confusing and doesn't always work in our favor so a lot of client education comes into play. By this, I mean that even if a client picks no therapist preference at the beginning they still must choose at the end. Or sometimes they pick a therapist and it doesn't show as a request. I am currently finding out that the credit card processing linked to their service does not have the best rates but it would be more expensive to use another processing system and have to pay Booker's fees. Finally, we have learned the hard way that if a client pays in advance and you do not block out the time slot then another client can book in that same slot.

Recommendations to other buyers: Like all, it has its pros & cons. There are definitely better ones and worse ones out there.

Overall: We have used several software systems prior to being introduced to Booker. Hands down the best, most efficient, organized and user-friendly program out there. I would never switch and I'm very happy to say it's improved our organization and helped grow our business. My clients love the easy to use online booking system. All positive no negatives. Overall: So overall I enjoy Booker and customer support however everything needs its tweaks. I do not like that you have to use their merchant provider and can't negotiate fees much, also lately people are able to book online with a credit card that we later on find out is declined..usually when they're a no show and our hands are tied. Customer service used to be great, now it's good and I don't always end with a resolution. Sometimes setting up codes for discounts is confusing and certain reports. On the positive side it works great for scheduling especially once you know the little tweaks in the system and it's great that it sends out emails for confirmation and reminders to the staff and guests. However, lately my staff isn't getting all notifications. This can be very problematic, I'm rebooking clients for free and not receiving payments on no shows due to the system only lately. If this were fixed I'd go back to loving the product.

Comments: I have been using SpaBooker for that last 5 years. I love the automated features that help my business run 24/7 by providing online booking and online gift-certificate sales. I am at about 60% online bookings versus 40% by phone reservations. I have a small boutique style spa and I am working owner. It is nice to dedicate my time to my clients and not interrupted by the phone orders and reservations. I also have the appointment confirmations automated, so this also saves us time and minimizes "no shows". There are so many features that have made my business more efficient and I do not know how I could run my business without it!

Pros: Visual

Cons: Glitches, too many steps to do something, wastes a lot of time. Especially for the price, its one of the more expensives softwares and it apparently does NOT equal better.

Overall: The amount of glitches, lost guest notes, lost time and frustration makes us want to leave on almost a daily basis.

Recommendations to other buyers: They need to up their game or they're going to lose a lot of business this year.

Pros: The ease of scheduling. It is simple to teach new people and services just pop up when you start typing them. I like that.

Cons: Sometimes the system can be a little bit slow. It is truly only difficult when there are lots of people waiting on you.

Overall: We love Booker here at our spa. I love the features we use for creating yoga classes and memberships as well. It's very easy to use in that aspect. Scheduling appointments is a breeze and checking customers out couldn't be easier.

I do wish there was a way to put notes onto gift card codes or under a customer's name so that if there is any confusion with an order or if someone gave their gift card to someone else, we could go back and see who they gave permission to use that gift card.

Another thing that would be a great feature to add to Booker is the use of storing a client intake form on a client's file in the system. If we were able to take a photo of a signed client consent form with all of their information on it and upload it to Booker as a PDF file, it would be truly magical. Paper piles up... we would love to go digital :)

Recommendations to other buyers: Anyone learning to use it, I would just say spend a little time looking around and trying things... you will learn it quickly. I love this system. With the exception of only a couple of things I wish Booker would have, it is a great system for a business. I would recommend it to anyone.

Pros: It's so easy to use. Booker walks you through everything

Cons: The line that tells you what time it is moves way too fast. It's not bad but for a 1/2 a second can scare you.

Overall: Booker is really good. Makes it super easy to set up appointments. Has plenty of space to leave notes about clients.

Recommendations to other buyers: Booker is kinda slow. A lot of businesses use it so that can affect your business.

Pros: That it is available to book appointments on and that you have an app for your phone that can be used as well

Cons: the amount of times it goes down or freezes up

Overall: The biggest issue is when the system goes down!!! And how frequently it goes down! It always seems to happen when it is busy and can be VERY frustrating because you have customers looking to take care of business and you simply can't do a thing

Comments: Booker has a lot of capabilities, and for the most part it's pretty intuitive. Moving appointments is a little trickier than I think it should be, but that's really the only complaint I have. Customer service is very helpful in trouble shooting!

Overall: When I was on my journey for a online booking system for my hair salon i tested and tried over 10 systems. What was super frustrating was most system didn't have close to all the features i was looking for. I needed ease of customer input, client history, inventory, finical reports , and a online booking feature and cloud/app that i could use from my phone. Look no future Booker offers all of this and more. After 3 years of being with Booker i have been approached by several newer companies who even offer a free 1 year subscription BUT lack all the features i need. Booker saved my life!

Overall: I own a salon and everyday I hear a client say "I love your online booking" or "you guys are one of the most technologically up to date salons". Booker and Fredrick help us keep track of our financial goals and progress. They also make it easy to market to existing clients and help acquire new ones. With booker you get 10x more than what you pay for. Thier customer service is excellent and thier platform is extremly user friendly even if you're not tech. Savy. I won't forget to mention that in my past two years with booker, they have implemented every idea we pitched to them which tells us they're goal is to offer the best software.

Cons: Online booking is clunky (hard to just say when is Niki available this week). Booking needs more robust features (only allow certain services at certain times)

Overall: I've been using booker for 7 years in my business after a year using it elsewhere and it's grown with me and my business from a single service provider to 20 employees with 2 locations. It's pretty great. Always adding new features. Phone customer service is *usually* on point, but chat sucks and going through the online search of issues never reveals the answer I need. My employees love having access to their schedules from anywhere. We love all the ways it helps us remain paper free - we can enter digital intake forms and notes, and send e-receipts. And they're always trying new things to help us market better and retain customers.

Comments: I worked in a Spa that used this software and it is so easy to use. Customer Support is always there to help you if needed but for the most part everything is on the website. Navigation is incredibly easy when the help section has options where you can email somone, chat, or place a phone call. Overall I love this system and if there is a Spa or salon that does not have it you need to get it!

Pros: I like that I can have as many people I want on my books and its easy to use

Cons: No reminder txts
And text message go for services go to all employees not just the one intended

Overall: I really like booker but it doesnt do reminder texts 24 hours before their appointment and some reason our service providers get all texts instead just their service. This annoys more staff because their phone blows up with text messages that aren't their service.

Cons: Being on hold and the repetitiveness of automatic service which requires me to press one or two.

Overall: I have used Booker for more than 10 years and referred numerous friends. Booking appointments is simple. The reports are even easier. The reports made purchasing a new location for my business and getting financials for my accountant simple. I'd refer Booker to anyone. And to top it off, Booker's customer service representatives are awesome.

Recommendations to other buyers: Make changing appointments in full site as easy as doing so in the app.

Cons: There are a few bugs that still need to be worked out, especially with the app. Sometimes I have to cancel an appointment instead of just adjusting it, and then the client gets confused about the cancellation email. Also, I'm confused about the referral program. I recently referred a friend and she signed up. I have heard nothing back about it.

Overall: I have been using Booker for several years now. I use it not only to run my business but to manage my life! I don't have employees, so Booker acts as my receptionist by sending confirmation/reminder emails and texts, Happy Birthdays, etc. I love that a little cupcake is displayed next to a client's name on the schedule when their birthday is near so I can remember to ask about their plans and make them feel special. This kind of thing makes clients want to keep coming back! Love the app as well as a quick reference. Customer service is rapid and always more than helpful. With a few more modifications and minor improvements, I would rate this company 5 stars! Thanks, Booker!

Comments: We've been using booker for a few years and absolutely love the program. The ease of the everything being in one place is great. From reports and inventory, to a great merchant credit card processor, we really couldn't be happier. Cons: System errors, freezing and going down

Overall: Booker is great, it's user friendly, easy to train on, offers great customer service and training tools. The only issue is the system errors, Booker frequently goes down or freezes making it complicated to book, check in guests, and process check out.

Recommendations to other buyers: Would like to be able to change therapists tip in the system after ticket is closed. Instead of processing refund and recharging.

Pros: Easy navigation

Cons: Sometimes it will not let us book a certain room because its not registered under a particular person however it does not tell us this when we are trying to book a room. It just gives an error message. Possibly stating how to fix the error would help as its not always obvious to the end user what is missing.

Overall: Booker is an excellent tool to use while trying to manage and book appointments. It keeps everything simple and organized. Navigating through Booker is fairy simple and straight forward. It is user friendly and the fact that there is 24 hours book support provides a lot more ease. They support staff have always been excellent and helped me resolve any issue(s) i was having. Overall very satisfied with the system :)

Cons: It doesn't work rarely, but it's not that big of a deal because it's back up shortly after it's down!

Overall: I love booker! It's so easy to use and see my everyday appointments. The features on it are awesome, wouldn't change anything about the software. Cons: Some of the URL's are very hard to see. My issue was an easy one but because i couldn't see the URL, even though it was right in front of me made the task harder than it needed to be.

Overall: My support agent was very helpful. As soon as i signed in, i didn't have to wait very long to get help. My issue was a very simple one and Gregory O was able to guide me to a very quick solution. I will probably have more questions down the road as i am new to the software as an Admin for Hair Color Center. Its good to know that the customer support is up to par and i can rely on them for help when I will need it and i am sure that I will. Thanks and Happy Holidays... David Mineo - Hair Color Center.

Pros: Ability to create series

Cons: The company is not upfront or honest. The software is antiquated. It is way overpriced for what you get. Ease of use is not there - it takes multiple steps to complete simple basic tasks. Customer service is not only lacking, they are often rude and incorporate good cop/bad cop techniques to blur the fact that they do not intend to fix your problems at all.

Overall: Booker has features that real you in but the functionality is antiquated, the "exceptional" customer service is non-existant once you have signed a contract and the features promised in the demo are not all delivered. I consistently get the answer that they are sorry but that feature is not part of the package you purchased - even though my sales rep assured me that it was when I asked him about it many times. There has never been an attempt to make it right or even console me for my trouble. The conversion cost me hundreds of dollars in changes needed to my website and credit card purchasing - many of which turned out to be inaccurate information provided by Booker that still did not fix my problems.
Moreover, the software has so many layers and steps to basic operations - it is a way to labor intensive to use. As a small business, your resources can not be tied up in having to change your schedule in three different places just to schedule a client after hours or to have to manually look up each gift certificate number - it doesn't stick with the client when purchased. Come on Booker - these features have been available for years!
Booker was a really bad decision on my part and I am looking for something else to replace it with that won't cost me as much to convert. They really did me wrong- whatever you do, don't take the Clover package as this is the software I am working with. They don't tell you ahead of time that it is a different program you than what they demo to you.

Recommendations to other buyers: Don't use it, but if you do - don't fall for the Clover mini package scam. Clover is great - the software Booker sells to go with it is terrible.

Whole system is glitchy, goes down during busy times and with every new release, it only supports Chrome and Firefox and IE. The mobile version doesn't allow gc sales or package bookings. It autopopulates with expired ccards on file, I could go on and on. It is a total piece of junk.

Overall: Their mobile site is unusable, things break at every release, and the whole system crashes during the busiest times of the year. And it is crazy expensive, close to $ a month! Save yourself the insanity and go with any other company out there!!

Pros: The "all in one nature" of the platform but also the ability to have an online store that links to our actual inventory and pricing levels in real time. The confirmation email for appointments are a great asset to in terms of revenue loss prevention and saves time for our staff, not to mention our clients love the convenience. The pre-authorization of credit cards is a great function again for loss prevention.

Cons: 1, There have been times recently were the downtime or stability (slowness) of the platform has not been acceptable.
2, The ip lock function only works with v4 ip addresses (most ISP's are now using v6's rendering the function useless unless you pay extra for static IP's.

Overall: I want to sincerely thank Booker for the excellent service provided by Gregory O, during several recent requests we made; He has gone above and beyond, even supplying me with a level of data and assistance I was previously told would not be possible to get. He did it in an extremely expeditious and efficient manner and again affirms our confidence that Booker is the leading platform in our industry. Thanks again for providing such a great business tool and we look forward to using booker for many years to come.

Recommendations to other buyers: I would be nice to have the following: 1, A way to submit tickets for ideas/functions on future updates (like we used to have) 2, There is not a report which shows you BOTH the clocked hours worked for each day of employees WITH total hours for the given period. 3, It would be extremely useful to have an option to set an overtime warning - i.e. when you look at the timeclock report, anything over 8 hours per day would be in RED or BOLD. 4, An automated email with a function to set an alert when someone approaches a certain amount of hours (i.e. email sent when any employees hit 7.5 hours for the day so you can properly assess overtime needs and plan accordingly). 5, Finally (and this is the most urgently needed one) the ability to send an email at will to confirm an appointment. This would be best integrated on the right click menu on the appointment calendar (like "Send confirmation email"). At the moment, you can only send confirmation emails a set number of hours before but it would be so helpful to be able to send them at will (as sometimes appointments are made within the confirmation email time window so doesn't automatically get sent, or to send a reminder confirmation for those that missed it first time round etc). 6, Allow shipping rates to vary based on order value tiers ($) NOT how many items are ordered (so we can have free shipping on orders over $100 etc) Please feel free to contact me if you need further explanation on any of these.

Cons: Sometimes, there a little glitches with system and appointments end up booked multiple times when I tried to only book one appointment. I think it has to do with the fact that I usually use two pages simultaneously, though.

Overall: Every time I've had an issue (which some days is a lot of times), Booker live chat is always there to save the day. Meghan L. was really helpful in helping me identify issues with our net speed, when the entire time, I thought it was Booker itself. She was super attentive and nice, much like other reps I've talked to such as Alex and Victor. Basically, everyone is very helpful. (SO much better than Milennium's team, which we had software from before we switched to you. They were the least helpful customer service team I've ever dealt with.)

Pros: The calendar / booking features for customers.

Cons: I don't always like the speed of cloud based software but Booker does as good a job as any.

Overall: So far I'm surprised at how robust the software is and how all the features and functionality make sense. Their support is email responsive which I like a lot. I haven't used all the features yet but from everything I've used I've been surprised at how easy and intuitive it is. It's definitely worth considering if you are in the market for this type of software. I also consider it inexpensive for what you get.

Pros: Support is Live people that are very helpful. Can do a lot of what we need in the business

Cons: Goes down, slows down at busy times, hard to get through to support or chat at times, can be a problem with double bookings.
Can be complicated have to figure out work arounds
Would like to see more reporting features like daily reports this year to last year

Overall: Support team is very helpful, respectful and friendly. They have the best people!
Wish there was support 24/7, that's the only reason for a lower score on support

Pros: High uptime, has a mobile app, intuitive.

Cons: Ability to limit my bookings by number of hours already booked in a day.
Ability to use my credit card processor.

Overall: I had questions on how to generate reports on my clients. Alex was able to walk me thru the steps and get me rolling!
