Pros
Visual Classroom Scheduler is very easy to use and results are immediately shown on screen. Very fast to finalise program and make effective. Easy to drag and drop to resolve clashes or improve timetable for teacher preferences and use the best classrooms. Totals teacher allocations on-screen and has good statistics and easy to cost programs.
Cons
Needs to have semester dates set up initially to facilitate adding classes.
Overall
VSS is very good for department level timetabling or small colleges timetabling centrally. Use in larger colleges or Universities would need some room naming convention discipline to standardise departmental timetables and merge them successfully.
