Pros

First thing we choose this system because we don't have to pay extra money just for the operating system. The platform they using is free. And we do not have to provide an expensive server. The minimum requirement Scasy hardware was low and not expensive. Any operating system can be used to access Scasy; Apple, Windows and Linux (we are using three platforms). We can also access it through the internet for everything including maintenance and filling the report cards. There is another way. Teachers download a report card file from server, fill it at home and upload anytime anywhere back to server again. It's very helpful

Cons

We are never found a complete system that meet our needs. IB Curriculum on our school is never using the same criteria each year. It could be changed every year depends on what subject we offer and not all criteria we use. Scasy is very dynamics. Our school has an IB Curriculum and National Curriculum (KBK). It means the report cards are totally different between them. In Scasy, we only setting the student classes, subjects they took and the curriculum they choose. At the end of quarter and semester, we just generate reports and prints all grades instantly. Before using this system, we took several days to prepare the report cards and two days or more just to print all reports. For students absences, teachers not only see their names but also their pictures will be displayed.

Overall

We are highly recommend for this system. Scasy is very dynamic and can adjust base on our needs. We are not worried about changes in the future. Their module can be upgraded and added anytime. Their full support are the best.
