Pros: Efficiency and compatibility with state system.

Overall: This has been a literal, life changing experience for our school and it has definitely brought us to an even better level in record keeping and communication with our parents. Mr Kirk Wurffell has the best customer service skills and patience that I have ever seen both personally and professionally. His patience is second to none! I have attempted to reach out to other Customer Service Reps but Kirk has been the only one willing to follow thru and work with me get to the heart of the matter (solution) not just once but every time. May God truly bless your company and especially Mr Wurffell and his family for the sacrifice it has taken to build such a great Grading System.

Pros: Communctaions between teachers, students and parents. Accurate transcripts.

Cons: No voice messaging

Overall: Since starting with Gradelink for the teachers for all the grades, and for parents and students to log in and keep close communications, and for email communication with families, we have been able to expand the use to the Student Information System. Customer Service are very responsive and knowledgeable. (I wish they would also do a voice messaging system!)

Overall: Every time I call with a question, I am reassured that someone will exhaust all efforts to make sure I understand how to navigate the program with ease. The support staff assisted me with my last inquiry. Not only did he help me with the setting up my report cards, but he did so with patience. Our staff is so excited to learn more about what Gradelink can do to make our daily tasks easier.

Comments: Customer Service is always quick to help. And in the slight chance they don't have an immediate "fix" they will take my number, work on it and call me back. I have nothing but praise for Axel. I called him with several formatting issues with our report cards today. He kept me on the line, and fixed the issues, and made sure I was seeing the corrected result I needed. Very friendly and helpful. He also noticed a potential problem with report cards for the next quarter and offered his assistance with that as well. THANK YOU!!

Pros: Easy access and availability. Log in and you're there and there are no glitches.

Cons: Some steps are lengthy in order to access or change something, but it comes with the job.

Comments: The fact that you can't convert a prospective student to an active student is enough to look elsewhere for a different software. There is no flexibility in reporting - it would be helpful to be able to just choose the fields you want to show up in a report, but that's not possible. If you're just looking for something to keep track of grades only, it might be ok, but the contact management portion is severely lacking.

Pros: Every tool a teacher needs from lesson plans to gradebook to email, and teacher pages are in one place. Easy to work with staff. Eager to take your thought and make them a reality.

Cons: Not enough parents take the time to check what is on Gradelink.

Overall: Gradelink has made keeping parents involved with their students educations so easy. Teacher enter curriculum in the lesson plans, assignments are listed in the Gradebook. Students and teachers are able to find information about students work all in one place. Great form of communication between parents, students and teacher. School page let everyone know what is going on at the school in one easy to find place. Staff are ready to help and take your recommendations to heart. Would not want to do my job without it.

Pros: Variety of features available for completing the many tasks necessary in an academic setting.

The constant updates of new ones are very encouraging.

Cons: It would be much more convenient taking attendance if classes could be grouped by their time periods as they can be under the classes tab.

Overall: As an admin/ registrar some of my tasks are infrequently performed; that plus the unique situations of our students' needs make tweaks necessary. The service techs are exact, courteous and always encouraging, in spite of errors on our end. Best tech support system I've encountered in the past 8 years!

Recommendations to other buyers: Having a strong and consistent source of internet connection is mandatory to save and retrieve data.

Comments: The system(GradeLink) has provided an excellent service, which has been always available and with a precise performance through all the time we have been using it. And specially the technical support given by Axel Maldini, who has been always kind and mindful with all our doubts and/or requests for changes in the system for better accomplishments of our needs as an educational center.

Further more, we strongly suggest to have a mobile teacher app, at least with the gradsheet part.

Pros: Once you learn it; it is easy to remember how to apply skills and teach others.

Cons: There are times when I would like to export information to create mailing labels or rosters for testing and to my knowledge, I am not able to do this with Gradelink.

Overall: I was working on creating and populating classes for exams for our seventh and eighth graders. Somehow without realizing it, I created an extra seventh-grade language arts class for quarter one. As I was double checking to make sure I had everything set up correctly, I noticed a seventh-grade language arts class with zero students. I did NOT notice that this was an extra class. I thought that somehow I had deleted grades and students from quarter one. To be honest, I was scared, nervous, and quite frankly wondering how on Earth I could correct my perceived mistake. When you're that upset, it is hard to see what is right in front of you. So, after about fifteen minutes, I called. customer support answered the call. They listened. They talked with me and found the problem. I was so sure that I had 'lost' grades for students that I didn't totally believe that everything was fine. C.S. reassured me. They led me to 'see' for myself that all the information I thought I had lost was still there. I could have cried as I was so relieved.

In the eighteen months of being assistant principal for our school I have learned so much. There are some companies I will not use anymore. Then, there are companies like Gradelink that have helped me to learn. I have often praised Gradelink's customer service. Some of the people I know by name as they have helped me with issues that I perceived to be challenging; whereas they showed me how to solve the issue.

Comments: We would like to thank Gradelink, but most importantly, Mike Dumhart in the Implementation Department. We "changed" our report cards this year, and although we were not able to achieve exactly the format we wanted, the end result was a great success! Mike helped come up with solutions to our requests in a professional, helpful manner and was always there for us. In fact, Gradelink personnel have always been able to obtain a solution to every question/problem we have incurred. Thank you!

Pros: Currently it provides everything that our small school needs and it seems like every month items are added that we can't wait to try.

Cons: I do not have any because if you have any questions at all the support department is more than helpful.

Overall: Whenever I have to call Customer Support my mind is always put at ease that the issue can be fixed and they can walk me through the process. Speaking to Axel and Max over the last several weeks has been a real comfort. I am grateful for the patience and help - all with an AWESOME attitude. Thank you!

Pros: The ease of use and the amount of information that is available to us as parents.

Cons: Nothing that I can think of that is bad - we had a couple of glitches with grades, but that was fixed quickly.

Overall: This is our second year to use this software (2016). When my daughter started her school in the 5th grade we used it mainly for checking her grades. This year we have used it on multiple levels. I love how we know, not only her grades, but also her upcoming assignments. We can also see any papers that are attached to the assignment. Just recently the school started using the home page for the school newsletter and each of the teachers set up a teacher announcement page. Staying in the loop has made the transition to middle school a lot easier for this mom. We can also keep an eye on our daughter's lunch tab using this program.

Pros: Convenient! Teachers don't have to figure grades out manually like in the 'old days'.

Comments: I am a teacher and the office administrator and I use grade link every single day. Though i don't always find it to be technically easy to use, I have always found technical support to be outstanding. Each time they are so patient, so kind, and truly efficient. However, I was blown away by the support received by Ben K this past week. He was so great with our reports that we were able to get out on time, even though i had to call him four times in one day. Each call made was net with kindness and knowledge and made me feel supported and valued. He is a commendable employee and he earns more than five stars from our school. Thank you. Pros: As a teacher I appreciate the ability to see my students quarterly average instantaneously. I also appreciate that I am able to see the weight each assignment carries toward the overall grade. Add/editing assignments is very easy.

Cons: As a teacher, this software meets all my needs.

Overall: We have been using Gradelink for 4 years and are very pleased with the Teacher/Admin/Student interface and the prompt, courteous customer service. After the initial set up, Gradelink staff continued to work with use to ensure our report cards and transcripts presented the student information the way we desired it to. The staff at Gradelink is continuously looking for ways to improve their product and listens to what we, the customer, desires, i.e. parent/student app, text message blasts, separate student/parent logins, etc.

Pros: The ease of getting anywhere. It always makes sense. The tabs are very user friendly. Love the news page! Tons of help videos if needed. I feel the cost is more than reasonable. I had researched a while before I found them. The cost anywhere else was too much for a small private school. Gradelink was so helpful even in the financial as I was trying to convince my superiors that this what we needed to do. Now they have an app for our families and students!!!! LOVE. Excited to share.

Cons: I can't say I have any. I love the app. Hoping the calendar can go on there as well. :-)

Overall: When I first started with this program 3 years ago from the first consultation until now every treats you with such kindness. I have had to ask questions and no one acts like I should know. They are always trying to make things better. Improving their program constantly, but never overwhelming. This is so easy to setup. Even if you struggle they are there immediately to help. I never have to wait. Thankful for Gradrlink. They have made our SIS program a breeze.

Recommendations to other buyers: Every school needs it!!! It is truly wonderful. Customer service is worth it.

Comments: Gradelink is very basic, and does what it needs to do most of the time. The developers are working on making it more fancy and more user friendly, but it's a work in process. Some items are hard to find until you know where to look. After using it for two years, I can say that it does most of the work we would expect it to do.

The customer service is wonderful! They answer all emails and calls immediately, and work hard at getting your issue solved the same day.

Comments: We have been using Gradelink for 3 years now and just rolled out EnrollMe for the upcoming school year. From the very beginning, we have received amazing customer service and support. Whether calling or emailing, I always receive a prompt reply and solution to whatever issue or question I may have. The techs and customer service reps are always friendly and happy to help on the phone.
Gradelink is user-friendly and easy to navigate, even for some of our "not tech-savvy" teachers. Our parents really like the online options for viewing grades and calendars that Gradelink provides.
I would highly recommend Gradelink for any school looking for online SIS platforms.

Comments: We are new to Gradelink, but so far our experience has been very positive. I am most impressed with their friendly and knowledgeable customer service staff. They respond quickly and completely to all of our requests, and they've really helped put our nerves at ease through this transition. We purchased the EnrollMe function as well as regular Gradelink, and their skilled coders were able to customize it to our specific needs. There are a lot of features here that we will not use immediately, but we expect to "grow into" as our school expands. I want to also mention that we are a preschool AND elementary school, and so far Gradelink seems well-suited for both environments.

Comments: We searched for a very long time for a system management program for our Christian school (approx. 150 students) that was affordable. I received a post card detailing Gradelink's abilities, and had a Eureka moment! This is the most user-friendly, cost effective, and accurate system we have ever used. I could not be more pleased. The tech support is superb -- immediate call backs, clear instructions, and pleasant interactions.

Ease of use is phenomenal for both faculty and administration, and they are constantly working to implement improvements.

I heartily recommend Gradelink to anyone who will listen. I would give them ten stars if allowed!

Comments: Gradelink stands out in the highly competitive SIS world. Being completely web-based, Gradelink requires zero installation and works with all web browsers. It has a fast and very clean interface.

Like most schools, our staff members' technical abilities vary from beginner to expert. Adopting Gradelink was relatively painless and has made many processes at our school much easier.

Teachers love the grade books and the ease of taking attendance. The icing on the cake though is the report card system - it's a game changer and teachers LOVE the simplicity of creating report cards.

Office staff and administration appreciate how the student database is managed and easy to update. It's easy to create reports and export information.

We spent a great deal of time comparing SIS systems. As a private school, our resources (ie $$$) are rather limited. Gradelink is super affordable while not lacking on features. They don't nickel and dime you with extra "modules" or additional software to buy for basic functionality. You get everything you need for a reasonable price and excellent tech support as well.

The most important comment I can honestly make about Gradelink is that they pay attention to their clients and I feel very comfortable working with them.

We're not just "another customer" - we are a school that THEY value. Gradelink (both through sales and support) has bent over backwards for us to make sure our school has the right tools in place to be successful.

Comments: Several of the functions contained within this application are not intuitive and often require a call to Tech support. However I have found that tech supports attitude and willingness to work with me is unmatched. Developing a working rapport with them is easy. Certainly this application provides schools with an easily managed school management tool. I would certainly recommend this organization.

Comments: We have been using Gradelink for many years now, and they never disappoint!

We began by using the grading program only, and this year we have included the school management program. Our parents are so happy about this! Gradelink is super user friendly, very intuitive, and good looking!

Gradelink is not only a fabulous service, but they are constantly growing and improving. This is another favorite part for us. If we have an idea or a desire, it usually shows up in the programming within a year.

The customer service is the best, and frankly, why we have added more services with them. I know I can call them anytime, and someone will cheerfully help.

Comments: I need more stars to be able to rate Gradelink more acurately!!! I have to say we LOVE Gradelink!!! Best thing we invested in (next to an excellent curriculum of course!) The majority of our students do not live here with their families, but with Gradelink parents are aware of what is happening 24/7. If you recall we have missionary teachers so each year I have a turnover of staff - and all of them love it!! I unfortunately do not use gradelink to it's full potential (just do not have the time to play with it!!) I have one teacher this year who has been a teacher for nearly 30 years, Director of numerous schools, started her own schools, etc. When doing the training about gradelink she told me "Love, I will do it because you are making me use it, BUT - I still want a manual grading book as I don't like these computer things!" I am now so pleased to announce that she is NO LONGER using her manual gradebook (gave it back to me) and now ONLY uses gradelink!! Even her kids called me up to say they can't believe their mom is doing grading on a computer!! The support teams are fantastic (and I am the first to say that I am not an easy customer!) but from customer services to technical support - they are ALL fantastic. No request is too big or too small. If it can't be done now, they don't forget and come back with solutions. Thank you Gradelink - you have made my life soooo much easier!!!

Comments: Our school opened its doors with Gradelink as our student information system of choice. After reviewing several of the competitors we became sold on the product and service offered from Gradelink. Since our first day, we have appreciated the ease of use within the different modules offered in Gradelink, as well as the phenomenal help tutorials connected to each page. Any time we have experienced difficulty understanding one of the many features, the online, phone, and email support has been superb. We appreciate Gradelink's desire to constantly develop to meet the needs of its clientele. We see no reason to ever turn to someone else to track our information. Gradelink is the best!

Comments: We have been using this software for over a year and are very happy with it.
It has saved us (teachers) so much time when it comes to report card preparation.
It also has increased the contact with the home as parents are much more apt to check out their child(ren)'s progress.
We are also very pleased with the service provided after implementation. The Gradelink staff is very prompt in answering emails and even answered my request on a weekend I happened to be using it.
Well done!
I would recommend this website to any teacher in the classroom and any school needing an automated system.

Comments: I have worked with several systems. None are perfect. Each has it's positives and it's negative. Gradelink is a little complex at first, but it's flexibility is great once you get used to the system. I am most impressed with the Customer Service and Tech Team's response to us when we have a problem or need a feature in Gradelink that seems possible, but isn't in place at the moment. I've only had to make one request to get the ball rolling. Once I was told that I had to select one feature or the other that I wanted because Gradelink couldn't do both. I made my choice and forgot about it, but Gradelink people didn't forget. I just got an email that I they worked it out so that we could have BOTH features. I definitely call that ABOVE AND BEYOND customer service, tech support, and tech development. The Gradelink team at the other end really seems to work together to serve their clients.

Comments: We were looking for a product that would compile our grades, report cards and transcripts all in one place. Gradelink delivers this and much more. Now that we're using it - what stands out from an administrators point of view - is their excellent customer service. I am so impressed with the way they respond so thoroughly and promptly. It seems there is always an answer to a little glitch that comes up on our end.
Our teachers, in particular, are thrilled with the ease of use and the time saving that this product brings to the oft time-consuming job of filling out report cards. It has saved each of them many hours of (re) typing in grades etc.
Finally, the communication with the home has improved markedly as parents can receive email alerts for low or high grades. This ensures that they don't necessarily have to log in on a regular basis if they wish to know where their child is at. That says nothing the ease of access to parent and student information and the easily accessible email tool.
Double thumbs up if you're looking for an excellent online administration product at a good price.

Comments: Awesome product! It has been so flexible for our small, but growing school. Many other programs are financially out of reach or do not provide the necessary tools for the school, parents or students. This program offers everything a school would need. It is also impressive to see how the Gradelink team is continually working on updates that come from user suggestions! Sometimes you talk about a wish list, and before you know it, you're using the feature! We've been using the program for at least 5 years and can't say enough good things about the program and the company. If you're looking for someone who cares about customer service, Gradelink is it!

Comments: We switched to Gradelink several years ago...best move EVER! The ease of use, the tech support, all top notch! Comments: We just started using Gradelink this year and so far we have been very happy with it. The customer service is great and they are very helpful when we have a question. The teachers love the gradebook and printing out our progress reports was so easy. Just a few clicks and they are done - versus handwriting them - there is absolutely no comparison! Very satisfied and would recommend this program to any school.

Comments: Gradelink is ever-changing in its effort to provide top notch services to its users. Customer Service is the best I have ever received from any tech provider. They are not only friendly, but eager to help me solve my problem and to train me to my fullest capacity. Due to lack of funding, we started using Gradelink on a small scale with only our 5th graders and up. We recently converted the entire school. This was the very best investment of monies and time. Comments: We have been using Gradelink for quite some time, and I've used the program as a teacher, counselor, and now as Principal. I cannot more highly recommend Gradelink not only for their solid product, but also for their quick and thorough responses to support requests. We have had very little trouble with the program in general, and most of our support has come in the form of unique or new features we need in our particular school environment. The folks over at Gradelink have been wonderful each and every time, and we now use a great program that has been further tailored to our needs.

Comments: I've been using them for about 5 years and they are great. It's really easy to use and my teachers love it (even the computer challenged ones). The support is top knotch too. Last year we started doing online admissions with them and it's really been a time saver - glad Meade that jump. Lastly they have a calendar. This wasn't shown on the profile for some reason but it's there.
