Pros

This is our second implementation of TEM solution after a bad experience with another firm. In our first implementation with another firm we were only 35% implemented even after 10 months of TEM company engagement. It is a big task to put together all the information related to telecom services under one platform. AMTEL puts in dedicated project managers which made this process doable in 2 months with our extensive telecom network. They have automated applications which would read the data from carriers, our inventory sheets & corelate users, inventory & invoices. The platform is very feature rich and provides more information than we actually use. The dedicated professional services support they give us puts them apart. Our executives feel good about this product after we started seeing the audit savings in our Telecom invoices which their project managers actively find.

Cons

Before Amtel TEM platform implementation, our group used to directly call the carriers for making adhoc order changes. Now we have to input all orders into the system, Otherwise the system shows exception flags when it finds certain elements in the invoice which it doesn't find in inventory or orders. This has helped in tracking all orders but it takes time to get used to doing it.
