Pros

Easy to install and use, this software marks a ground breaking improvement for our core business and that of two of our sister companies in the UK and Eire.

The idea of a hands-free visual time capture software (these guys have managed to ditch the concept of a timesheet altogether), has already paid dividends for us within a few months of purchase. Staff no longer have to worry about what they did through out the day, and are able to focus more clearly on their daily job tasks.

In addition, as the owner, I can see in real time how time critical projects are progressing, with an instant snapshot of time and costs.

Finally, being able to drill down into the reporting section (MetriQ claims to have 10 Power 200 data views, allows me to see time accrued by folder, staff, date or software used.

Cons

Not yet in French, although i understand this is in the works. I'd also like to see a mobile version, again in the works, although i understand a Web interface is due within the next month or so.

Overall

If you're a bit cagey about technology, then the chances are this timesheet product is not for you. However, if you are a technocrat and can recognize the benefits technology can bring to the business arena, then I would heartily recommend this product. It will save you time, and it will save you money - while at the same time giving you a tighter leverage on your business and staffing needs.
