Pros

As CPAs and consultants, efficiency and accuracy are imperative since we bill for our services based on time spent working for clients. And as with any business, we want to turn time into money, effectively and efficiently.

BillQuick is our ideal solution to handle our day-to-day time tracking, project management and billing and collection tasks. BillQuick is designed to simplify even the most complex billing cycle, and it includes all the features wanted to record time and expenses and invoice our clients.

The company offers ongoing service and support at an extremely high level and in addition have industry experts in their product development team. BQE Software also continuously strives to improve its products and include features that further enhance the product.

Cons

Request that there be a reconciliation to general ledger accounts of total "wip"

Pros

I've now used BillQuick at two different companies for the past ten years. I have been extremely satisfied with the ease of use. The customer service support is great when there are any problems, which is not very often. I recently had a problem with the database - Scott in the Customer Service department was so helpful and helped fix the problem right away.

Several years ago we began using BillQuick to manage our invoicing, instead of only for time-tracking purposes. The company was extremely helpful throughout this transition process. Moving our invoicing efforts to BillQuick was a great decision, as it automated billing and made everything so much easier and more accurate. The solution saved me approximately five days each month.


Cons

I can't think of any.

Overall

I would highly recommend anyone thinking of purchasing BillQuick to do so!

Pros

Henderson Architectural started using BillQuick in 1999, while I began using this system in mid-2002. With the assistance of BillQuick's customer support and specialized tech support, we were able to run BillQuick more efficiently and to its full capabilities for what our firm needs. In the 9 years that I have been working with BillQuick, I have established an outstanding relationship with them to the point where they know what my needs and expectations are without me having to re-state them. The software has many capabilities, along with Crystal Reports, that allows you to design or edit existing reports/invoices to your needs. I have created special invoices for specific clients, and I am able to tie these invoices to specific projects without having to worry about them printing on the wrong template. The capabilities to tie expenses, activities, employees, etc to specific projects is endless.

Cons

I truly do not have any cons for this product only because if you are in need of something special, feel there should be something brought to their attention or any issues that need to be resolved, you may email them and most likely your suggestion/issue could end up in the next upgrade.

Overall

Even though we do not integrate BillQuick with QuickBooks, this is an option that does sync with ease. What is nice is that you can have endless users working in this software system, independently entering their time and expenses without having issues. I have used many different software systems, and this one is quite easy to use and well worth the price.

Pros

very powerful package for the purchase price. Most modifications on wish list have been met, some have been addressed in the 2009 version. Very user friendly, good security features.

Mike Daniels is one of the best support people, Erfan is also very, very good.

Cons

The defaults on some of your screens could be better, will submit another list to support, some default tab stops, like in CR are not correct, project list still won't open with the default sort order being "alfa" is resets every time to numeric. Expense screen will not hold the project name field as one of the defaults, it drops it each time the screen is closed.

Project managers name should be viewable from the invoice review screen (for collection purposes) what it displays is the person who is currently logged in, not useful.

Overall

Very good, very satisified with 2008, we need some of the enhancements available in 2009, will look at upgrading this year.
