Comments: I recently took over responsibility of timesheets.com from my employee and Gideon Taylor was very helpful to me in gaining a better understanding of the program and fixing several issues I had. He was clear and easy to understand in his instructions and went the extra mile to send me his direct line for future issues. I called again today and Gideon again was very helpful and got back to me right away. I am very satisfied with the product and the service at timesheets.com.

Comments: I tried a couple of time tracking programs before we signed up with timesheets.com. This was by far the best suited to our needs. We've got employees in multiple capacities--some work a regular schedule in the office, while other are in the field on jobs. This systems allows us to track who is where and easily attribute hours worked on jobs for easy job costing. We aren't using the system to it's full capacity yet, and it still has saved us so much time and headaches! The layout is also much nicer than other programs we've tried and this is the easiest system we've found for our techno-phobic employees. The customer service was also a selling point for us--whenever we have a question, there is someone there to help.

Pros: Tracks everything we need it to and displays information in a very easy to use format

Cons: There's a lot of training that needs to be done on how the system works if the people using it aren't very tech savvy.

Recommendations to other buyers: We tried many programs before we official chose timesheets.com This product has fit our needs very well and we're very happy with our choice.

Comments: We have a need to track time hours worked doing different types of work, on call days, and expenses for our employees. . Timesheets.com keeps all this separate and streamlines my payroll. With the ability to set cost and billing rates, I am doing a lot less manual calculation. Saves me a lot of time, and my company money.

Recommendations to other buyers: Please set up a report that can pull time, project time, and expenses by employee on one report. Also, show/include automatic time deductions if set on employees dashboard.

Comments: Received a call from Joel from Timesheets today regarding my attempt to add an additional user to our account. In reviewing our account, Joel found that we were using a license as an Admin that we did not need to have. Our Manager had all the rights as the Admin, thus not needing the additional license and saving us money for the year.

Thank you to Joel - he did a great job explaining and answering all of my questions to make sure we still had the same access rights that we were looking to have.

Great customer service!

Comments: I looked at a few before buying Timesheet.com. I went with TSs because it seemed simple. The staff has not found it as simple as I would like. But it must be said that we have probably not trained on this adequately. Strengths are the reports and the customer service. The IP Address section is not easy to understand. We plan to continue with the software because I think the biggest problem is our lack of adequate understanding of how it works, not the program.

Pros: I think the pricing is reasonable.

Comments: Anytime I need to speak with someone about an issue or question they are very prompt to have someone assist me. Keeping track of my employees time is easier than ever now.

Pros: Integration with salesforce

Cons: That the system cannot have time on two separate days. I have guys that go out late at night (on call) and if they are put last midnight I have to edit/split the time manually

Comments: I've always received exceptional service from Gideon who remembers and knows our unique payroll needs. He offers fast, short cut, targeted suggestions for our needs. He's a top notch professional in client services!

Pros: The report features of customizing

Cons: the time card view of employees clocks in and out for the day. It's not that easy to decide. It doesn't seem as user-friendly to eyeball glance quickly if you are in a hurry and under tight deadlines.

Comments: Out of the several timesheet software programs that I've used over the years, Timesheets.com is hands down the most efficient. Extremely easy to use, easy to track/modify hours, easy to monitor PTO, sick says, handle payroll and the mobile clock in/out feature is a lifesaver!

Comments: Overall, we have had positive experience with TimeSheets.com time tracking solution. There was a learning curve in setting up the different features of the on-line tool and learning how to use them properly. If you are looking for areas for improvement, you might want to consider an interactive (interview) process that enables the company designated administrator to set the various features optimally for the company. I assume for most companies such as ours, the administrator is not necessarily an expert in time tracking systems and could use the interactive tool. Thank you.

Cons: Setting up the features for a novice administrator is not straight forward It seems that there is no distinction between "Approving" a time sheet entry and "Allowing" the entry for edit by the employee. If the employee makes an error entry, there should be a way for him to quickly correct it without requiring the supervisor to "allow" it.

Comments: This software is really easy to use. We love that it is web based and can be used with a smart phone. We have a mix of mobile and stationary users so this is a perfect fit.

The job tracking is really helping us to see if our estimated labor hours are matching up to actual hours spent on a particular job. This tool is allowing our operation to cut out the fat and make sure we are running lean.

It is also saving our HR Dept time answering questions about available PTO and Vacation Time. Every Employee can see the information every time they clock in.

Pros: The support is fantastic and quick.

Comments: We are new to Timesheets and are thrilled with the product as well as the customer support. Customer Service is amazing and so helpful. They are readily available over chat as well as phone support.

Pros: The ability to track paid time off as well as unpaid time off, and to allow the team members to clock in online. I'm sure there are a lot of things it does I just haven't used yet.

Comments: Your program has removed those petty HR employee issues of absentee, late and/or vacation/days off issues. This system eliminates that opportunity for an employee to take advantage of the employer. Most important when it comes to pay period reporting, it provides the printout very easily for my bookkeeper to pay. The Timeclock Online support over the years has been very courteous and patient with me. As small business owners we have enough on our plate, and your support allows me to focus on what I do best. Great job and keep up the good work, you've been a big help.

Comments: We started using this program a month ago and love it. I thought that we would have push-back from the staff, but they are really loving the ease of use and that it's only 1 system for our hourly time, project time, and expense reporting. It's also not expensive for a small non-profit.

Pros: Ease of use. We've eliminated several paper reports. Our accountant loves the expense reporting as well. WE also like that we can take a photo of a receipt and upload it.

Cons: Learning all the nuances of the program. In another month, it should be much easier.

Comments: I was looking for an online time entry software. Found some good review about timesheet.com. Decided to try it. That was a very good decision. The online website has lot of flexibility, it can track employee time by project, and print reports with various filters. The best part is customer support. Customer support specialist walked me though a lot of features, help me set up the time tracking customized to my needs, did a follow up call two weeks later and fine tuned the system for me. Comments: I have contacted support on a few occasions to see if the software would allow me to do certain things. Most recently, I wanted to prevent one of my workers from going back in time and editing entries that had already been submitted for payment. Monica walked me through the process and helped me set up some preventive measures to prevent this in the future. Her help was great.

This software has done everything I have asked and the price can't be best! I would highly recommend it to any business looking to track time.

Comments: Honestly, I was so pleased to have run into this online time sheet application. What a headache for any small firm that requires keeping a proper track of the hours to invoice projects, to track the work flow of the office and to understand where the resources of the firm are spent.

The time sheet reporting has now become a staple in our bi-weekly review of the progress of projects. The program is very intuitive and with the support they made it easy to integrate into the daily routine of the firm.; great product.

Comments: I had to get some help today because of an error I'd made in the system. When I screw up I do it BIG! Ended up opening all of my pay periods from the beginning of time. But I got some great help from Joel, who identified my original issue, helped me resolve it, and guided me through my secondary problem of the open pay periods. I never had any issues with the program before - it's easy to use both for Administrators and employees - so this was my first customer service experience. It was a great one. Thanks again!!

Comments: We are a small consulting company with few staff, it was big task for my staff to maintain their clients work schedules up to the standard for calculating clients' cost but with Timesheets.com made our life more comfortable. Support team is very efficient, Need to develop user interfaces to match with latest app industry adding some features like drag and drop , user friendly design, clean and simple background. Technically, its better if we can select client in the manual time entry under which time can be recorded as per account codes.

Comments: This software is very adaptive to our needs (Fits our needs and is accessible anywhere any time); It is intuitive and very easy to use (Practically no learning curve) ; It is affordable, cost scalable, and you get true value for your money. But more than anything else, it comes with exceptional customer service. Raya has practically been a Jewel - offering all kinds of tips and setup ideas and constantly checking up on our progress!

Pros: The software is especially adaptive to our needs but the exceptional customer service is still our most favorite part of the package.

Cons: None at all.

Recommendations to other buyers: Try it. And if you have questions you will be guided throughout the entire setup and deployment process.

Comments: We use for a time clock only, in & out. Our need is for accurate, verifiable, documentation of actual hours worked including overtime.

Pros: Easily used as is web based. With IPA addresses known, offers security of only being used on site where you want it. Easy initial set up.

Cons: none

Recommendations to other buyers: For a current, up to date method of verifying hours worked by your employees, this is it.

Comments: I compared several other time sheet sites (at least 6 others) and timesheets.com was far and away the best value, most comprehensive for our needs and absolutely excellent customer service!!
They made everything extremely easy to roll out out new time sheet system. We repair heavy duty trucks and I have eight mechanics that I needed assistance in tracking their performance.
What a time saver!

Pros: The limitless number of customers, projects and account codes that I can manipulate for my use. I can archive records and easily retrieve them if necessary. Running reports is extremely easy and can be modified in various ways.

Cons: The fact that I didn't find this site sooner....!

Recommendations to other buyers: Stop shopping and go with timesheets.com, you'll be glad you did!

Comments: I have found that using the Timesheets program has made my life so much easier to keep track of all my employees and be able to answer questions re: vacation & sick time used . It also helps with the late arrivers and early levers. I would recommend Timesheets to all employers.

Comments: We have tried a few programs for our complicated time-card management and project billing. Early in the trial period, a representative called to make sure we were getting set up to have Timesheets work most efficiently for our business. (I am a skeptic who dislikes salespeople; my contact with the representative was very helpful and thorough)
We were able to try full scale trial run before we committed to the reasonable and easy to operate system. No apps necessary, so data usage can be nil and accessibility is ideal at the office and on jobsite. I look forward to seeing how easy it will make my work.

Pros: Secure website access - wifi accessible - no data requirements/limitations = company savings Flexible organization for reports, and different ways to display our information. Full time help available on the website.

Cons: The scope of the program can handle much more than what we ask from it at this point, so it has a small learning curve (minor really) to get used to knowing how to navigate the site.

Recommendations to other buyers: Use the helpful representatives to allow you to give this a fair trial. My representative led me through set up and let me go for a while... Checking back to answer questions.

Comments: Timesheets.com works great for my company for many reasons. One, our employees work remotely and contractors from different states, so it makes it easy for employees to login their hours from wherever they are at anytime. It is a very good value for my company and the support is excellent.

Pros: Software is easy for my entire staff and it provides me all I need and much more.

Cons: no cons for us.

Comments: I found this service when researching for a customer. I adopted it into to my processes after experiencing the ease of initialization and maintenance. Staff adopted it easily into their day. While it has more capability than I use, it is a perfect match for our needs and many of my clients.

Comments: I love this product. I find it a great value for the money. I have had two minor issues today. I clicked on the chat link and was immediately connected with a very knowledgeable associate. I was walked through the process very quickly. On the second occasion, the chat was disconnected. The representative I was chatting with immediately called me to finish addressing my issues.

Pros: I like the flexibility my employees have. Not everyone has an office, or even reports to the building each day. The ability to log in from the job site is paramount for me.

Cons: I had a little trouble in the beginning with setting up account codes. As the administrator, having access to all usernames would be helpful. I have seasonal employees who don't work frequently enough to remember them.

Recommendations to other buyers: I have recommended this software to several people. It has done exactly what I wanted it to.

Comments: I was googling "time clock programs" and am so glad I came across Timesheets. I am very busy and don't have much time to learn a new program...nor do I want a program that does a whole bunch of stuff I don't need. I checked out Time Sheets and shortly afterwards received an email inquiring if I would like any help. I called the number and Raya walked me through everything in 10 minutes. I was up and running and had all the tools I needed to train my employees. Plus, she gave me additional ideas for how the program can help my company. I am so glad I found this program - it is helping immensely.

Pros: Easy to use, great customer service, and sends me alerts when my employees clock in and out...so I don't have to spend any time looking into their times.

Cons: Haven't come across any cons yet.

Recommendations to other buyers: Highly recommend for small and mid-size businesses. I am looking forward to using the project timers - this will save us quite a bit of money and time in the future.

Comments: I'm a small company that needed to track employee hours. This is a perfect add-on to my Salesforce Enterprise edition as it allows them to easily clock in and clock out and track PTO. It also works great for my part-timers in calculating their bi-weekly hours.

Pros: Ease of use and responsiveness of support team.

Cons: I don't really use it to its full potential due to my current payroll system, but it does what I need it to do.

Recommendations to other buyers: Easy to install, learn and use. If you have to keep records for the Dept. of Labor, like I do, then this is an affordable option.

Comments: Our company has used Timeclock.com since 2011 for both salary and hourly employees. We were able to merge the information/reports with the time clock to our payroll system.

Pros: What makes the software so worthy is the simplicity for both the employee & employer to be able to track hours, notes, vacation and etc. One of the features I really like are the reports that are available. One additional bonus to having this software also includes the archived information on each employee for the hours worked while employed with the company.

Cons: There is nothing to dislike about this software because I feel that the options available make it so easy to setup a new employee.

Comments: We are very pleased with the Timesheets.com platform - we have been using it for a few months now and it is simple/intuitive but has all the necessary features to account for employees in different states and for those who use mobile devices vs. laptops. We also use the expense tracking software which has saved us a great deal of time with manual excel spreadsheets and the employees love the photo upload feature they can use from their phones. Customer service is excellent with an online chat feature and over the phone service has been great too.

Comments: I used Excel for time tracking for a while, but needed more capability and better project time tracking.

I found timesheets.com and with the free admin account, had nothing to lose, so I tried it. Setup was easy... however, if like me, you get it wrong or don't understand it very well, a live person will help you quickly.

I recently added employees and it was straightforward and once again, my call for help was answered.

This tool not only tracks my time, it saves me time, and I'm glad I'm using it.

Comments: This software is a good option for small businesses who have a small workforce. It is affordable (not necessarily competitive) and it has easy internet access for all employees to their timesheets and other documents.
Only thing I have seen so far that I would like changed is the payroll report signature page. It would be great if you could personalize the page to put the titles of the lead staff that is approving the timesheets. It is not always two supervisors.
Otherwise the software is very easy to use, the chats are helpful and the reporting is great.

Comments: Small company trying to zero in on labor tracking along with separating employee hrs into different insurance codes.
We worked with the same representative throughout the set up. We were asking for a lot of different ways to get the hrs separated for pay roll and keep track of what insurance code the employee was working under (as well as keeping track of how many hrs per day were overtime in those account codes). She called us back with all the answers to our questions and help set up our account for our business. Great to work with!
Company also allowed us to extend the trial period to be sure it fit our needs!

Best software we could find after a lot of research.

Comments: My only issue was that I hadn't been able to upload receipts to the site. I was able to chat with a support person, Joel, who helped me move through a few different options (browser change, reboot, etc.) and he tried some things on his end to find out what the problem was. He helped me for over an hour and was very patient and kind. Ultimately, it seems to be an issue with my computer because the program is working and uploading receipts just fine on my phone. Thanks so much, Joel! Great customer service.

Comments: For years we were using a card-based time clock and when it flaked out I went about trying to find an easy replacement. I looked at a lot of different options but TSheets was a SLAM-DUNK WINNER!

First, to set up the trial was very easy to start up with a few users. The flexibility and ease of use, my employees fell in love right away. I had a few questions and I cannot say enough positive things about their support team - friendly, knowledgeable, offered options for some of the quirky things I wanted to do. Conversion was seamless.

I now get MUCH more accurate reports because of the ability to use the app on our phones - no more 'I forgot to punch out, in, etc' . With the notification features and approval features, it really is the best of all the ones I trialed and I am satisfied with the pricing.

Give TSheets a try and I think you will completely agree that for the price it is absolutely terrific.

Comments: We are a therapy practice that covers a very wide rural area of services with lots of locations. It was a challenge to find a program that was online based that allowed us the ability to separate time into different accounts by job title and we finally found it! There was a learning curve but at their annual reviews the majority of employees stated that the time clock was the best tool the practice has introduced! They love the mobile version for their smart phones.They have greatly reduced their paper and record keeping time and this means saved cost and happy professionals!

Comments: Monica is a life saver and a true professional! We were headed out of town on business and it was the close of a pay period. I was unable to adjust a timecard mistake from my smart phone that my hourly employee had made and the correction was critical in order to close the pay period. I called and Monica answered and boy was I happy. She took control of my situation and saw it through to completion. Monica solved the problem and we were able to go on our business trip stress free from the worry of not getting the pay period closed. Thanks Monica, we appreciated your service!

Comments: I had been tracking sick time, vacation, and punctuality by hand for 13 employees, using my own spreadsheets and calculations. It was a difficult and time consuming task, and when the laws changed, it became almost impossible. This software is so much better! It has been taken a huge load from my plate and it is easy to use, even for me.

The customer service is wonderful. I have called them on at least two occasions and they were very knowledgeable and spent a lot of time with me.

Extremely user friendly given the numerous amounts of jobs the software offers.

In 15 minutes Joel helped me with the update, explained that I was not maximizing the software's potential and educated me on how I could get a lot more out of this product. Comments: I have been using this service since April of this year and it is an amazing solution to track my employees time. The audit trail and project features provide me with the insight I need to manage our staff efficiently. I also appreciate how quickly my calls and concerns are addressed by their customer service department. I am still learning new aspects to the system every month, and I appreciate the quick turnaround time to my inquiries.

Comments: As a small business, we had never felt the need to use a software system for time and vacation records. As we have recently added some additional employees, it became necessary for me to monitor employee hours and paid time off - my wall calendar wasn't cutting it. After narrowing it down to 3 different programs, we decided to implement Timesheets.com because their site seemed the easiest to navigate and they offered a trial period. The web-based employee login allowed for easy clock in and out as well as a clear accounting of the time worked. Employees can monitor their PTO time available and request time off through the system. The price of the system is extremely affordable and all the employee time exports into my accounting system (QuickBooks).

After beginning our trial, I was contacted by Monica, who assisted me by explaining some features of the site that I wasn't aware of and helped me get the PTO accrual levels set up based on our policy. I spoke to her several times and she was very helpful. When our first payperiod was finished, Joel was walked me thru the export process to get the hours into QuickBooks. He was extremely patient and explained the process thoroughly.

The Timesheets.com system is a great fit for us and I know that as we continue to grow it will allow us to manage our employee time records in a more accurate and efficient way than we have in the past.

Quick and easy to use. I am a small company but it takes less than 3 minutes to pay my employee.

Comments: I tasked one of my new engineers to look at timekeeping software tools and services in the marketplace and make a recommendation for our small, but growing company. From this research we decided to go with Timesheets.com. We are very happy with our choice for a number of reasons.
(1) The service allows us to be in compliance with DCAA requirements - this is a must for a Defense Department Contractor
(2) Our employees learned the system with minimum training - it's very intuitive
(3) The customer service is fantastic. Emails/phone calls are responded to promptly and by intelligent, caring people.
Before moving to Timesheets.com, we were using an excel spreadsheet with visual basic(VB) programming imbedded into it, to track time and insure compliance with DCAA requirements.
The Founder of our small company wrote the VB program. It worked well, however he needed to re-issue new excel files every 2 weeks - which is not the best use of his time! In addition, we lost files sometimes(despite our best efforts) and sometimes lost evidence of digital signatures.
We were constantly out of compliance with this type of system. Too many opportunities for defects in this process.
I haven't yet loaded the data into QuickBooks, however I have seen this demoed and have a copy of the procedure for this....it seems straightforward. If I have questions, I am confident the experts at Timesheets.com will help me through it.

This software for us has been a great help considering we we loosing track of time and over paying.

Comments: The pros is it keeps accurate time. The cons for us has not been any they have answered when we need to ask questions and help us through. I would suggest that if you have any more service that is complementary to our contract to know up front as I just found out the mileage and expense tracking is apart so on to using this. Thanks.

Comments: We are a boutique professional services company with about 10 employees. Our employees have always used Excel spreadsheet to record their time but they were seldom accurate. Therefore I evaluated many timekeeping, project tracking, and expense reporting solutions and based upon the generous free trial period provided by Timesheets.com we ran the solution through a variety of scenarios before signing-up. With the assistance of the Timesheets support staff (including evening calls and emails) we got the system configured and operational in just a day or two. We provided about an hour of employee training and we are up and running. Next phase will be to focus on Project Tracking but we are confident that will go fine as well. Our employees are fine with the change.

If you are looking for a simple yet complete solution at a low per employee cost I recommend that you take advantage of the trial offer and really try all of the functions, features, and reports. No question the system shortened our payroll preparation time!

The reports are easy to use and compliment any payroll software that you may be using. I've found that everything you need to calculate time and run projections is built in to the program. Comments: As a web development company, we needed a time tracking service that had the capability to track both time tracking for payroll but also project based time tracking for billing customers. Timesheets was the ONLY company after an exhaustive search that was able to do both. Hourly employees would clock into work on their payroll timesheet, and then record billable time during the day on their project timesheet. This was obviously handy because an employee who works 8 hours might only have 7 billable hours, and now we had both kinds of visibility.

On the negative side, I wish I could rename a couple of fields, but I can live with it the way they are. Also, they need to make it look a bit more modern. It looks like a web site built 5 years ago. Overall, though, I'd give it very positive marks as a platform for my small business.
