Pros: Their customer service is prompt and our rep is really helpful when I have questions about how to set up the system to meet my needs. Before Xola I used a different booking software and experienced a lot of abandoned bookings because the user interface was so clicky. Now with Xola I experience increased sales and the abandoned booking's feature is well worth it. I highly encourage anyone opening an escape room to use this platform!

Cons: The sales don't tie back to the correct sales person if an order comes in via the front end and it is confirmed through the back end of the software.

Xola is en extremely user friendly booking system, both on the front and back ends. A great product.

Pros: The front end of Xola has a very clean, user friendly design. This lets my customers navigate it with ease and without confusion. The back end is very easy to use as well. Populating financial reports & graphics for a quick reference, a simple booking process, and a great credit card processing rate are all reasons that we love Xola.

Overall: Ease of use for my customers and staff. Less confusion on my website interface. Easier to train my staff on how to use the software.

Pros: The software is easy to navigate and also offers many paths for customers to follow to get to exactly what they want.

Cons: I think it might be nice to have more visual step by step illustrations because I'm visually oriented.

Overall: I saved myself a lot of time because the functionality is fairly easy to navigate.

Cons: Takes a bit to learn to navigate. Some bugs have occurred but quickly resolved. Would like more options on the mobile app.

Overall: Piece of mind and support levels of an industry leader.

Pros: Xola is very easy to navigate and personalize.
I can choose which users have access to certain features and it's simple to keep track of how the business is doing.
It is mobile friendly as well.
Xola provides excellent and fast customer service support.

Cons: What I like least about Xola is that it is challenging to manipulate bookings.
I would like the process of creating listings and manipulating times & prices to be easier for special circumstances.

Pros: The platform can adapt to and optimize any sales generated business. I noticed the platform on a similar tour based website and it had everything I wanted. Then I seen the back end program and I was blown away. It captures all the info I need plus some. The abandoned booking feature saves the day when a customer walks away from a booking or decides the price isn't right for them. The Customer support is amazing, from the Sales team, to the Setup team, and then general support team that follows you while you operate in business just in case you have question. I haven't had to wait for an answer more than a few business hours while I was setting up. Just operating a few days I realized I needed to make a big change in by booking strategy and a new option was created in a just a day to capture the sales I was losing.

Cons: great value for most large volume customers but when you just begin it can be pricey. I wish there was an option based on sales numbers. I have a seasonal tour company and I'm also billed in the off season, that could be come costly for a small operator.

Overall: Increased Sales, Secure Information Storing, Organized Information, Easy Staff assignment of Tours, It has it all.

Pros: Straight forward, easy to use. LOVE the chat customer service option! It's not often that I get the time in my day to drop everything and make a phone call. Chat allows me to multi-task while receiving assistance.

Cons: There are a few things that don't offer the control I'd like. For instance, you can't edit a reservation in the past and keep it in the past. If I want to issue a refund to a client and adjust the cost, Xola rebooks the customer for the current (or future) date. The commission section has the same issue. Once I reconcile the commission cost, and I can't go back in to the memo and add the check number or more notes.

Comments: Xola has been phenomenal for our business. It is incredibly user friendly, has a very aesthetically pleasing design, and, best of all, opens up so much more accessibility for our customers. Previously, all reservations were made over the phone. Having an easy to use, functional online booking systems has allowed us to reach more of a customer base than ever. Our web traffic has gone through the roof, with the addition of Xola being the only change to our site. It gives me much more control over scheduling for my tours than I ever had before. My staff also loves that they can be notified of upcoming tours directly via email. Overall, my experience has been outstanding and I would highly recommend Xola to anyone in the tour/adventure activity business!

Pros: Simple to use

Cons: Every tour program is unique and requires a unique system. At times the system has not been able to do what I need it to do, however I always make sure that the people at Xola knows this and they tend to try to develop new ways for Xola to operate based upon my feedback.

Overall: Within the first year of integrating Xola into our tours program, we managed to increase the number of visitors by 20%. The ease of booking for our fans and the confidence in knowing that their spot on a tour is guaranteed contributes to a seamless visit. In addition, Xola compliments our website as it is attractive and intuitive!

Pros: Everything. Mostly the ease of use for booking, trip rosters, and being able to assign guides. Smooth.

Overall: After trying two other booking software platforms, we've finally found a solution that works for our small guide / outfitter business. Xola has been an amazing company to work with. From answering questions quickly, to solving complicated website problems, they've really impressed us with their customer service, quality work and attention to detail.

Streamlined check-out process, the ability to follow up with automated emails, gift certificate sales, re-targeting and the clarity of the sales reports really set XOLA apart from every other solution we've tried.

All the features that are available really help us manage our busy workflow, our guides and our inventory. Additionally, the integration of our booking platform with the local hotels, as well as larger distributors (Viator, etc.) has really increased our customer base.

We're so happy to be working with a company that puts the needs of tour operators / outfitters first!

Pros: easy to use, and able to access anywhere with wifi!

Cons: nothing yet.

Overall: Xola has been a breakthrough for us as we have several users both in and out of our company making reservations. It has allowed us to consolidate our schedule and control inventory in a very simple and easy way. Training time has been drastically cut down due to the easy to use interface, and their support is quick and efficient when we have had a few questions. We are huge fans!

Pros: its simplicity yet it has everything we need

Cons: not a single con

Overall: The entire team at XOLA were professional, kind and understanding! None of my questions were trivial to them. They allowed us to take our time in implementing the system and were there for us EVERY step of the way! I cannot imagine using any other system! We looked around and are convinced that we chose the exact system WE needed. It is so simple and clear to use, unlike many we researched. You cannot go wrong with XOLA - I promise anyone would be more than satisfied.
I do believe that the XOLA team members care about your progress and they want you to succeed in your business. We are totally overwhelmed with Xola and so very glad we implemented their system!!

Comments: I have used numerous online event registration software platforms and XOLA is by far the best. It is easy to set up and adapt to the multiple kinds of events we offer. Its streamlined registration process makes it easy for customers to choose an event, register and pay. There is also an abandoned cart feature. Both you and your customers are notified via an email when a registration is not complete. I was amazed at the lost sales captured using this feature.
The Smart Waiver integration allows us to see who has completed their form on the event roster. Check in is a snap on a Smart Phone or tablet.
The workflow is automated with reminder, follow-up and survey emails.
There is also Facebook Integration. Most of our customers now register form our Facebook page!
I cant imagine stepping back to other platforms. You wont be disappointed if you choose XOLA!

Comments: Thank you for your commitment to excellent customer service. Your 24 hour "chat's" are perfect to help figure things out.. Thanks to Igor, Novena, & April...just to name a few who are always there to help with just the click of a tab! With this business, there are always little things that come up and need to be figured out and not once have you not risen to the occasion. From the initial setup by Kelsey (who truly is a rock star when it comes to this), to the follow ups from Bri, XOLA has not disappointed. If they say "they're working on it"....they get it done. I will admit I had my reservations about switching... but they have walked me through every element helping make the transition...and the continued booking service a success. Since we have been with them, they have already implemented changes to better the booking experience. Thanks for helping make my job easier.

Comments: Xola is a sleek ticketing interface that works perfectly for my tour company. Here are the top reasons I like Xola: my support rep is responsive and helpful, I always get paid out on time, I can manage my guides easily, and the customer-facing interface is sleek looking.

Cons: Changing things like individual trips, customers, and fees can be a challenge.

Overall: If we could give more than 5 stars, we would. Customer service is amazing and has always been very attentive to any issues that arise. As we've learned with our experiences with multiple reservation systems, none of them have absolutely 100% of what you need, but the willingness to listen to your wants/needs and implement them is beyond a doubt one of our favorite things about Xola. Xola's pricing system also allows us to make more money! Let me explain. With Xola, you are charged a flat rate per month. That's it. You are given a low credit card processing rate, lower than we could negotiate with a processor. With other booking systems, you are charged a LOW monthly fee, but they charge each of your customers a percentage of the sale. That money goes directly to them. With Xola, we are able to charge a small ticket fee that pays for the service and most months we make more than the monthly fee! And as a bonus, our customers are paying less for our tours.
Our customers are showing up to our tours on-time and in the right place which is our number 1 goal with having any reservation system. They send automatic emails to our customers, allowing us to spend more time on program development. And let us just mention that the integrations with SmartWaiver, Trip Advisor, and Distribution Channels are awesome and a great addition to our business.

Pros: Customer Service, Mobil App, Data Tracking, Easy to learn and navigate

Cons: can only send confirmation emails to one email address within your company.

Overall: We have been using XOLA for a tour business for 3+ years. XOLA provides both the Customer and Business an easy to use platform that makes managing bookings as easy as possible. The technology in their "Automated Remarketing" feature delivers business for us even when we're not actively emailing, calling potential customers. XOLA's customer support is also always friendly, timely, and overall very helpful.

Pros: Ease of use.

Cons: An invoicing system where the client can pay directly without staff assistance is crucial for us. I understand it is on the way but long overdue!

Overall: Our staff and clients enjoy the ease of booking tours with XOLA. With very few clicks, the tour is processed! Great Job!

Comments: We've been with Xola for a couple of years now. We used to use other software and another company I partially own still uses that software which we are getting rid of. Xola is the best for a couple of reasons. First, they respond very quickly when we need them to. Seriously, their customer service can't be beat. Our previous software only responded by email only--and at their leisure. A third software system we used couldn't have cared less whether they were responsive to us, their customers, and their system was clunky. Second, we don't have the extra hassle of having to tie in another credit card processing company. Xola does it all in one. Not everything is perfect with Xola (nothing ever is) but it is damn close.

Comments: Used Xola for 2 different companies and we switched to a competitor that offered more functionality and expansion. Their training over the phone (first company I was with that used them) was a joke - the 2 trainers got into an argument about how to do something while my staff sat listening to them for 10 minutes. We still gave them a try and were sorry that we did. The next company I took over was using Xola and I switched systems. The account rep called me and actually started yelling at me about what a mistake we were making for switching companies,, how no one ever leaves Xola, how much our business was going to suffer, as well as calling me a fool to switch (that was when I hung up on her.) I would not recommend them.

Comments: Xola has provided us a valuable asset with their booking system. They immediately notify us and upon a booking. the captains once assigned a tour are notified of the tour time and type of tour.The customer is sent a receipt along with directions and faq's. We are also sent an alert hours ahead of the day the tours are scheduled. We find that the support team extremely accommodating and quick to reply. The funds are transferred into our bank account on a daily biases.
There could be some improvements in the software system. It does not automatically update changes. We find find some things somewhat confusing to make changes. However, support always comes through to help us. Most likely my problems with the system is because I am not a millennium baby and not the greatest with software.

Pros: User Interface is simple but robust. There is no sacrificing ability for the sake of navigation.

Cons: Refunds have to come out of your xola account, there is a balance that stays in your account and gets sent to your account according to your desired time frame. If the account is empty and you need to refund a customer you have to load money to your account. This is supposed to change as we discussed it with our rep and they were already working on a solution.

Overall: Xola was our first choice software for our new business and we are glad we went with them. Starting a new business is always tough but working with Xola gave us a quick launch with great insight and tips from their staff.

Xola is constantly improving, offering education and studies on the tourism industry and is a quick phone call away. We are always looking for the most efficient way of doing business and clearly Xola is as well. Our calls are on time and our questions are answered.

The UI is straightforward and robust. Something we were unable to find in other software. The costs are clear and easy to manage.

Our contact at Xola regularly checks in with us and we have created a relationship that ensures our needs are met. We are looking forward to growing our business with Xola.

Recommendations to other buyers: Take it for a test spin. It may seem like a lot if you have never used a booking software before but once you use it on the regular you will be happy about a number of the features.

Overall: It's been one year we're using Xola and we are 100% happy with the software. It's very intuitive, fast and completely adapted to the way we run our business. We use a lot the mobile app which is very easy to use when we are out of office. The guide management feature is a great time saver: we don't need to remind our guides when they have a tour with us.
Probably one of the best booking softwares on the market.

Comments: I will start with their customer service which is the best. Because we are in a different time zone Mary came early to office to call us and helped every time.

Pros: Always improving! I like the automation and ease of use. The layout is beautiful and seamless.

Cons: Because it caters to a range of different types of businesses, it's hard to get some more specific functions that are specific to my needs. I'd like to see more functions dedicated to easy reviews in follow up emails and more sophisticated controls for my needs. The OTA functions are good but it would be nice if they actually functioned seamlessly with the Xola software.

Overall: Xola software takes the job of an administrator and booking agent and allows me the time and energy to focusing on growing the business. It's real automation for my business and makes me more hands off. They are always improving and are always at the click of a button to answer my queries.

Overall: I've been in sales and in the customer service industry since I was a teenager, and now I'm the CEO of Platinum Records Nashville. Being in sales I know how important it is once a sale consummated the importantance of customer service. Most company's fall short in servicing the customers that they already have and move on to the next sale. My Xola sales representative Alice Egan has gained my respect and business for life because she understands if I succeed in business so does Xola and her employment. I publically applaud her and her caring business ethics and willingness to help me and my business grow after the sale. I'd hire her in a minute.

Tons of customizable options, but well thought out and usable
Customer service is friendly, responsive and good at fixing issues

Overall: We started using Xola on our tour's website in 2014 and have been very pleased with it. Unlike other booking software we tried and have seen, Xola is easy to understand and has clean design that makes it easy to use and look good on your website. On the backend it is simple to setup, make changes and manage bookings. Another huge selling point is the customer support. They have chat support available 24/7, and are available by phone or email during business hours, and are quick to respond and solve any issues. I would highly recommend using Xola's booking software for tour companies.

Overall: The ease of using the product is so easy that even the "old guy" can figure it out!!! The Chat part is GREAT. Quick response with knowledgeable people. More difficult problems are shunted to another expert (Luke) and the problem was solved quickly and professionally. I HIGHLY recommend this product.

Pros: The training and support staff have been extremely helpful and extremely patient with me! In fact, everyone with whom I¿ve worked at XOLA has been the same ¿ incredible! Everyone seems to really care about making sure the program works just as it should. And they all seem to care whether it¿s helping to make my business run smoother. This means a lot!

Brennan got me started. Then I had my first on-line- training session with the very attentive woman whose name I don¿t remember. And now I have my own personal techie assistant ¿ Chris! He may not know he has this title but I¿m pretty sure there are many XOLA users who would enthusiastically give him this title. This personal service is so important, both functionally and psychologically.

Cons: I always have problems learning something new but this is definitely not the software's fault! It's user error!

Overall: I love the XOLA package. I actually understand it and am beginning to find my way around it. This is amazing! I mean, it¿s truly amazing! And as I become more and more familiar with it, I¿m discovering all sorts of useful things it can do. I especially like the feature that allows me to assign a guide to a walk and then send the walk roster to that guide. This has saved us from miscommunication on a number of occasions!! Love this feature!

I also love to see the XOLA emails announcing that I have another booking!! I don¿t think I¿ll ever tire of these!

I¿m still exploring all that XOLA can do. I intend to master it all. I¿ve found that taking and re-taking the on-line, live trainings sessions has been invaluable. I understand the program more each session and get more assertive as I go along.

Cons: Need better ipad and iphone apps for the back end. And offer more cc swiper options.

Overall: Since transitioning over from another reservation system the team at xola have been there whenever we needed them to help keep everything working smoothly. They are very helpful and willing to work make adjustments in the system when they can to better help us utilize their system.

Comments: My company has been using Xola since December of 2015 and a lot has been added since then! What I like about Xola is its realism. My time with them has not been perfect, however, I stay with them because whatever glitch or trouble that may come up is fixed and as soon as it can be. That matters to me. The fact is, no system is perfect, but with Xola, there is always someone handy for me to chat with and I know exactly who is handling my problem and at the speed it's being processed. I've been with other companies where one may cite an issue that is never really fixed, rather, a bandage covers it for later. That has not been my experience with Xola. The team working with me is constant and resourceful. Sometimes you can never pay enough for good customer service. From the customer side of things, I have no major qualms. What they see is a simple and clean booking feature that is unique and friendly. I have used ticketing platforms in the past that required an explanation on how to use them. It is not like that with Xola, no where close. I really look forward to seeing where Xola goes next and what developments are on the way. In my eyes, the price is well worth the features, quality customer service, and ease of booking for my guests.

Comments: We looked at a few different booking systems on the market and concluded that Xola, even though more expensive, justifies the price with the added values of unique features (such as abandoned booking, etc.), it's user-friendliness, and aesthetically pleasing looking on both the frontside and backside of the system. The customer service is second to none. They have helped me more than I could have expected. And, even more impressive, they are constantly trying to find ways to improve. I highly recommend Xola 100%.

Comments: There are some improvements that can be made. Namely, a copy function would be helpful so as to not have to re-do every new tour item. In addition, being able to apply Questionnaire information across all tours would also be helpful. I would also tweak the dashboard so that all "Reservations" pop up in a list, and not just by date. A master list of reservations would be useful.
The back end and functionality of the software is incredible. Xola will make it much easier to run my business. In addition, the chat and phone customer support I have received is like no other I have seen. Incredible response time and patience for those of us that are not as tech savvy as we would like to think. As Xola grows, I hope that the standard of customer service remains as it is a major differentiator, as is the platform. I couldn't be happier with the product and look forward to recommending it to anyone who needs a scheduling software. I also look forward to additional add-on components and know they will be fantastic.

From the back office control panel you can actually create a global questionnaire that will copy to all tours. For the 'master' list of reservations thats also pretty easy - I'll show you how on the call. For the duplicate listings request, I think thats a fantastic idea and I've already submitted that idea to our product team. Comments: The system has a lot of features, some I hadn't known I needed until I started using it. There is always someone available for you if you need help with anything, which often is not the case with other companies I've found, and best of all for myself, it's a very intuitive system to use. Also, you get paid right away, there is no holding your money for a length of time. I would recommend this system.

Comments: I operate an escape room that requires very flexible and unique booking abilities, what with the huge variety of booking requests we can have (special corporate events, regularly scheduled events, joint birthday parties, off-site team building events, festivals, etc.). Xola was not the first booking software we used, but it did end up being the last. We were approached by several companies that offered "below industry standard credit card processing fees" that would knock off maybe .3% from each transaction, but then they would charge the customer between 6% and 10% that they would take directly in their pocket without you being able to customize it. If you're comfortable with charging your customers 6%-10% in service charges, why wouldn't you take that money for yourself?

Basic math aside, Xola's customer service and suite of application tools have been able to help overcome and accommodate any obstacle we've encountered and have left us more time to focus on what's important: running our business. I highly recommend this platform over any other currently on the market.

Comments: loved how the Xola team helped me understand what using the system would look like in real life before I had signed up. Every step of the way I have been supported to the max. I was assigned a direct support contact who coached me through any questions I had in getting myself set up. More often than not Mary asked for the info I was trying to integrate into the system and implemented the changes for me so that I lost no time in making Xola work for me at full speed. This included workarounds and business suggestions.
The ongoing 24Hour help desk via zen desk has also been essential. Our needs have changed as the business has evolved and I have to say Xola has worked hand in hand with us to make it do what I want it to.
The only down side is not being able to do too much on a mobile.....yet! The beta version for mobiles is on its way and I am honestly holding my breathe for its development and release. It will be the icing on the cake!

Comments: We are a brand new business and spent a lot of time researching to find the reservation system that we thought would work best for our Zipline business. After a few weeks of looking into different programs and comparing them, it was clear to us that Xola was the cleanest, simplest system out there.

It is incredibly easy to use for both the customers and staff and cuts our work load in half by sending out reminders and thank yous to all of our customers.

Any issues that we have found were quickly resolved by the friendly and knowledgeable Xola team. They are also more than willing to walk you through any questions that you may have!

I would happily recommend this product to anyone on the hunt for a great reservation system! We are excited to see what else they produce in the next year (pos system?!).

Comments: The software makes doing most everything simple. Just a click or two....change guest count, switch trips, add fee's, refund all (or partial) ticket prices....etc etc...
Every product has it's bumps in the road but there is always someone ready to answer my questions and/or fix my mistakes....via chat, text or email...there is ALWAYS someone there!
I, along with my concierges, crew, and employees, can view, edit, add bookings on ANY smart phone. Very important. I also find the bookkeeping simple with this system. Tracking commissions, payment types, refunds, payments, customers...all with the click of my mouse.
I have spoken with other companies (and drilled them on their programs!) and decided on Xola for ease of use, customer support and all around value....I will not switch. Thank you Xola!

Comments: We began using Xola for tour bookings following our 2015 tour season. The transition has been super easy and made our booking process so much easier on my staff and our customers. Previously we had to do all bookings via phone or email, which can be a headache playing phone tag or exchanging 4+ emails with one customer. Xola completely streamlined that process for us and saved us a ton of paperwork.

Probably the biggest advantage to Xola for us has been collecting payments. We no longer need to wait for customers to send us a check or hope they come with cash on the day of their tour. Payments are collected in advance via credit card and are deposited directly into our account well before the date of the tour.

Xola also has been extremely helpful with any of our questions and concerns. Their customer service has gone above and beyond to make sure we are getting everything we can out of the system and understand how to use. it. It is an incredibly simple system and very easy to learn.

I highly recommend this product to anyone in our industry.

Comments: We've been with Xola since 2012. Xola has undergone some major changes since we joined them. As a consumer, I expect some hiccups in use as technology is being developed, and as a business owner I need stability and accountability -- the professional team at XOLA HAS DELIVERED JUST THAT every time!

Xola's team, based on my observations as a client of theirs, is founded on solid customer service and attention to business owners' needs. I had used 3 other scheduling/marketing systems before switching to Xola - I was skeptical to make the switch and it took a 2 hour conference call with the CEO listening to and acknowledging my needs before I decided to make the switch. IT WAS THE BEST DECISION I HAVE MADE TO DATE.

Support of their product is second to none. Xola, the system, has evolved tremendously for the better over the years, and their staff of professionals has kept up with that pace.

Anytime I have a question, need a payout or am having issues with a booking, the professionals at Xola are right there to help. They are attentive and they care about our needs and, importantly, our time.

I fully recommend Xola to any tour/travel/sightseeing/charter operator. They are by far the best in the business.

The ease of use is by far the simplest, and customer service is awesome. They are always adding more features to make it easier. The help guide is very useful. I am not sure on the chat service yet as I have had no need to use it because it has been a breeze.

I tell you, I have searched out every online booking company out there and I am beyond confident that no other reservation software company can do quite what Xola does. I'm stoked to have the best around. They have grown my business and made it easy for my company to manage our bookings, our customers, and even our staff. Their team is more than helpful. I've been with them since 2013 and have had several times where I called my account manager and said "I just thought of a feature that would be really cool" and with in no time they added it and called me to tell me it's live. That's just one example of how they go the extra mile. They truly stay cutting edge. My account manager Delamon is the easiest guy to work with. Anytime I have a need or a question they are fast to reply with helpful advice on their product and really on anything in general. They hold a lot of great marketing insight in the tourism industry as well. I seriously could go on and on. They continue to bend over backwards to keep their clients happy. As far as cons I can't think of one, and if I ever did have a con along the way, I would pick up the phone and tell them what it was and they would fix it. That's a company that takes pride in their products and services. Anyways I hope no one just takes my word for it, if you are in the tour biz you need Xola.

Comments: Overall we've been pretty happy. I'm certain that the system has captured some lost leads because I've personally had people tell me they were going to book, then forgot, then got an email from the system and ended up booking. I've been happy with the staff and their attention to our issues and our problems. Delamon has been fantastic to work with.

However, the system still does not do the #1 thing we need which is allow bookings with multiple vehicles in multiple locations. We've got 3 vehicles and 7 routes and the system isn't smart enough to block off certain routes or allow 1 vehicle to float across a few routes. THIS IS OUR NUMBER ONE PRIORITY. Right now we are using a work around that takes a ton of time to create manual bookings to lock out certain routes. We were told this was going to be an issue that was worked on and it's been 1 year with no progress. This is the one thing I need to be resolved.

Cons- You have to log out and back in a lot because sometimes it's very slow (that could be our internet though), can't hide a "book now" button if you don't want that specific tour to be available (you have to make it have 0 seats available and that confuses customers), the sales reports aren't detailed enough, have to put a dollar amount on an add on (wish you could make it cost $0 if you wanted because that's how we find out if we have any vegetarians for that tour), group discounts are only calculated by a percentage not a dollar amount (would be nice to have both options),

Comments: When our business started to really take off a couple of years ago, we knew our current booking system wasn't going to cut it. After speaking with others in our business about their preferred booking platform, Xola got nothing but rave reviews. Every other company seemed to have a "but" attached to their platform. Not Xola. It made our choice easy.

Changing booking platforms isn't something we were excited about. We had our web site builder make us a platform that we used for years. It was very labor intensive and time consuming. We were concerned about the amount of time switching platforms would take. Xola made it as painless as possible and we've grown to appreciate the platform more every day.

I imagine that Xola saves me approximately 10 hours per week over our previous system. A booking over the phone takes at most a couple of minutes, where it used to take at least five. Time is something that is hard to come by in our busy season, and if saving time was the only thing that Xola helped to do, I'd be more than satisfied.

But what really seals the deal for Xola is the level of service they provide. Calls and emails are answered quickly. Concerns are addressed immediately. One of the most impressive things is that they understand their users are the ones dealing with their system day in and day out. They listen to suggestions of ways to improve the system for our use and are constantly improving their product using their customer's feedback.

I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Comments: Xola has been a lifesaver, or shall I say a "business saver". The easy to use software has allowed us to take control of our business and reservations. We were growing faster than we ever imagined and were stressed out by ringing phones, overbookings and how we were ever going to keep it all together.

I spoke with Delamon and he listened to my needs and helped create solutions. Everything that he promised happened, and more. By taking control of our reservations, we have our lives back and are continuing to grow business.

The tools are simple and easy to use. I can think about a new tour while I'm on the road and in a couple of minutes in front of the computer, make the thought into a money making tour.

I've spoken with other tour reservation companies about their products and the conversation ends at customer service. Others have given me the hours that their customer service is available, Xola is and has been available whenever I need them.

We're currently in our 4th year of business and we're already trending over 65% up over last year, I truly believe that this would not be possible if it weren't for our partnership with Xola.

Comments: So far XOLA has been amazing to work with, and after two years of disappointment with the smoke and mirrors of Zaui, TheFlybook, and RezGo, we finally found a company that understands, and meets the demands of a diversified tour, service, and rental company.

This isn't an excuse for them to rest on their laurels, we're excited to see new features come out such as an iPhone app for tour operators, in addition to their helpful research on tour industry trends. That said - good grief what are you waiting for - these folks rock!

Comments: Immediate increase in cash flow to my business due to advance bookings. The staff (Delamon and Kelsey) have been accessible and hugely helpful. Very enthusiastic about what we are doing here with our business. I've requested new functionality and it has been adopted.

Cons - software isn't perfect for booking tours that don't have set start times. Software could have an algorithm built in that builds smart spacing in between tours to manage yield or give guides breaks at certain times throughout the day.

It would be nice to generate reports according to who booked (concierges using the back end)

Comments: Whitewater Adventures has been running the Upper Cache Creek in California for over 30 years. Until recently we didn't do online booking, and as a consequence the poor office staff had to hand type detailed booking notes and run credit card payments nonstop during the rafting season.

Upon joining the team I immediately began searching for a cloud based solution to Whitewater Adventures online booking needs. While poking around on other outfitter's websites and on Google I kept seeing the same name come up at the top of every "best booking system" list. That name was Xola.

After scheduling a demo time I was contacted by Delamon, one of Xola's biz/dev representatives. Delamon proceeded to walk me through an hour and fifteen minute in-depth demo of many of Xola's features, including how to set up a trip listing, how to collect and track customer information, how to utilize Xola's powerful marketing and customer outreach features, how to integrate Xola with our website, and much, much more. In these times of outsourced and call center driven sales and customer service Delamon stood out with his positive attitude, clear communicative style, product knowledge and professionalism.

As for the booking system itself, well, all I can say is that the reviews weren't exaggerating . The Xola online booking and marketing system is, simply put, a pleasure to use. It is unbelievably robust and well thought out. The booking process is incredibly simple and straightforward. Just the other day I was training one of the office staff on how to use it and I was able to take her from never having seen the program to being totally able to set up her own bookings and create trip listings and add-ons in less than 30 minutes!

Creating trip and product offerings through Xola is a breeze and there are multiple options for up-selling through their brilliant add-on feature. Things like trip times, dates, deposits, accepted payment types, built in credit card processors, customer questionnaires, automatic dropped checkout emails and conformation emails, driving directions, lists of what to bring, and much, much more are easily entered and even more easily customized for every listing that you want to create.

I really can't recommend this service enough. The care and effort that the Xola team has put into their product and into supporting their customers through the onboarding process has been deeply appreciated by everyone at Whitewater Adventures.

Comments: Recently I had the pleasure of working with a member of the Xola staff, Delamon Rego. Over the past few months I've been vetting a number of online schedulers for our business. Over a dozen, in fact, including Zozi, Peek, BookMyCity, and many more.

I've sat on countless phone calls and screen shares. Being a software engineer, I always found it a struggle to get the rep to peel back the layers and get into the meat of their offering. My experience with Delamon, however, blew everything previous out of the water.

He closed me on Xola, and it wasn't due to the quality of a script or the persuasiveness of the marketing material. His deep knowledge of the product, his even deeper knowledge of our problem domain, and his total willingness to dive into the deep end of the pool to answer my questions about outlier and edge case scenarios set him, and by extension Xola, apart from every other offering.

Xola could've blown me off (since it's a 3rd party issue), but instead both their top programmer and CEO got involved, diagnosed the issue, and solved it. Can't beat that. Comments: At our business, we offer several appointments per day where we take reservations from up to 28 individuals in each one. Before Xola we had to communicate with each person via email or phone to make the reservation, then call each party to confirm the day before the appointment. Xola provides an intuitive and simple program that allows guests to browse our availability and make the booking themselves. Xola also sends a reminder email the day before the appointment. This has been amazing for us, and has saved hours of staff time per day. They are very responsive to inquiries from us, and we would recommend this to any business dealing with multiple bookings into set appointments each day.

At this point they had my attention, and after sitting down and having a conversation and being shown first hand the advantages of using XOLA - I realized they hadn't quit because they truly believe in their product, I could see it in this guys eyes and the way he talked about XOLA. So I finally went for it.

I switched with ease, and now a month into using XOLA I can't believe I was so stuck on my old reservation system, XOLA is light years ahead of my old system. They make it so easy for my customers on the web, and the way it looks on a mobile phone? Couldn't be any simpler! Plus I love the clean look of the system.

They've got it all figured out. They use Norton Verification Services during Credit Card Processing. They are integrated with Viator (Our #1 reseller) and automatically process our Viator reservations which saves me a bunch of time. They are integrated with Groupon and helps making bookings through them seamless as well. Sending emails to customers top leave Trip Advisor reviews? Always a plus. They are truly looking at the experience from the customers point of view as well as the business owners.

And so far, I have gotten top-notch customer service which is huge for me. They are always so helpful and always there when I have questions, even outside of business hours! I'm definitely happy about my decision to switch.

Comments: We had been using the same booking/reservation company for several years. It was the company we started our business with. We were literally afraid to change. Switching over to a new platform was a very scary proposition. 99% of our buisness is from online bookings and it needs to be up and running 24/7. We did a lot of reserach and ended up choosing Xola. From the very first contact we were exteremly impressed. The customer service (Huge Kudo's to Delamon. ) was and has been amazing! The system is so user friendly and flexible we love it. Being able to change pricing on the fly, add or change excursions with out having to start over or delete an existing reservation, the email, and I could go on and on. We would highly recommend Xola to any company looking for a reliable, flexible, user friendly booking platform.

Comments: Xola helped us set up our online booking which we had never done before. The few changes that we needed to make the system work for us were immediately addressed and with some minor adjustments over time it became an awesome resource for us. It provided our customers a secure way to pay online, which boosted our credibility, and has increased our tour sales because our requests don't get lost in my over-full email inbox.
There was a little bit of a learning curve going in, but it seems like every time I think I've found a bug in the site I send them an email and they kindly explain where I've missed a button that solves all my problems. I always get prompt replies and feel like the developers have really listened to customer input that makes the site flexible.
The only real problems we've had were making sure our listings schedules were correct and some strange user interface issues that I figured out after a few minutes of trying things.
Overall: great service that made booking tours much more organized and secure. Staff are super friendly and great at what they do. We would definitely recommend this to anyone. These guys will make sure it works for you.

Comments: Next to buying a computer, using the Xola reservation system has been the best addition to my office since 1972. Overall it works smoothly and the Xola response to my needs has been outstanding. Some of the reservations system has had a few glitches, but Xola has kept working on making it better and better all the time. Comments: This is a great reservation software for a small tourism business. We have looked around and tried several systems. One thing that we really like is that Xola has an inventory management system. Our biggest gripe is that their refund ability to clients is a little iffy. Since we are a seasonal business we aren't getting heavy bookings 12 months out of the year, and they run credit card processing and can't pull funds from our account to refund or partial credit back.
We have been very happy with Xola.

Comments: After 6 years of back and forth looking for an appropriate booking solution, and multiple trialed products, Xola stepped up to the plate with a PAYG service that has allowed our company to achieve 60% growth in 2014 alone. All without the need for additional admin staff, while providing a more streamlined and efficient booking process. We have since moved to fixed fee paid plans, as our volume warranted it.

When we first signed up, like many software packages, there were a lot of small issues, however the team has continued to improve the product and we now see regular additions and changes to the solution, that only further it's place as the core to our entire operation. So much so, that we now have three separate organizations all utilizing Xola as the core to our entire booking process (both online and back office).

We pay for both the entry level and the professional packages, depending on the needs of the particular organization. We could not have supported anywhere near our current growth rates without ballooning labor costs without Xola, . Thank you Xola.

Comments: I'm a food tour operator, and I've been using Xola for about five months now with great results. Customers can book our tours quickly and seamlessly, and they receive an immediate confirmation with all the details they need for the tour. (Which means less work on our end!) I've particularly liked the ease of using coupon codes and viewing our calendar-at-a-glance. Not everything is perfect -- I would love to see the ability to book two tours at once, for instance, or the ability to export more detailed customer data -- but overall, I'm happy with Xola and would recommend it to others. Xola's customer service is also fantastic, which is a huge plus!

Comments: We evaluated a number of reservation systems and have been very pleased with all things XOLA - from the developers to the end product. Not only do these guys know how to build cutting-edge software, they are exceptional communicators. They took the time to understand our work flows and are prompt and responsive to our input and questions.

The software is easy to use on both the back end and front end and has simplified many of our booking processes. The e-ticket sent to the customer is slick-looking with all the important information displayed in an easy-to-read format. Comments: Xola helps me track customers and their reservations. But does way more than that. It is an integrated solution to keeping all our guides current through their calender system. It saves me time by auto emailing directions, confirmations, follow ups, and promotes social markeing All from the initial reservation.
Its interface is intuitive and elegant. And it is expandable and adaptable to all the permatations of payments in our business. (direct payment or different agencies or trade. Pay now pay later, add this item to the booking, change the date, change the time, change the place of check in. and more)
It can export our roster. and we can assign guides to different trips. Soon they are adding functionality so that the guide also can get an email of the roster. The guides can already see the work schedule right up to the minute on the cloud based calander and Xola does so . ...much more. It also has an integrated merchant solution. At a good price.
When it comes to customer service - Not only has Xola listened to my needs and responded but I feel like I am part of the solution in making their software better, instead of someone that is a problem when I ask about adding increased functionality in future updates. And that functionality keeps coming with each new update. Delamon, Scott and Anush have all personally jumped on any issues I have had and solved them. Most of my small issues have been solved right away. But issues that took more time (like needing new coding in the software) have been addressed and I look forward to the each release and being part of an online reservation system that is getting better all the time. Do yourself a favor and get on board with Xola.

Comments: Our adventures in trying to find the perfect online booking tool went from designing our own custom platform to using tools that were so big and had so many features they were cumbersome for our staff and nearly impossible for our customers. Needless to say, sales were down, customer satisfaction was low and our staff morale even lower. Then came Xola - an elegant and simple solution to our problems. With features the ¿bigger and better¿ systems are trying to upsell you on, Xola has them all built in, it literally runs itself. Translation: less time working the system and more time with the system working for you.

Pros: For our customers, a quick way to check out. No more getting shuttled to multiples screens or worse to a completely different URL! Confirmation emails getting to clients within minutes that contain all of the information they need to know to enjoy their outing. For our staff, a simple back office view with few buttons that make booking reservations quick, checking in guests fast and booking walk-ups a pleasurable experience. The analytics component provides all of the information we need to determine how our business is doing, providing the metrics that matter the most in a manner that¿s both comprehensible and effective to make quick decisions about pricing and performance. Last but certainly not least is the Xola method of distribution. We can provide check out points throughout our website and through partner websites. We can easily create discount codes and special coupons and feel comfortable that redemption will be easy for our customers. There are so many great features built into the Xola platform, we have saved time and money and with the level of customer support, downtime is a thing of the past, answers are quick and solutions are always an phone call away. Now: Sales are up almost twice what they were at this time last year, online conversion are up nearly 12%, customers are happy and we are getting outstanding reviews on sites like Trip Advisor, thanks to Xola¿s automated post experience emails. We looked at every system available before settling on Xola. These guys are absolutely top-notch and we are so glad to have found them. Comments: Before Xola, we were using a flexible but very complicated and expensive booking engine. When we thought about switching, I was afraid there would be so much more to figure out that I would lose time just learning something new. But the Customer Service at Xola is really amazing and very consistent. Every question or concern I've ever had was answered personally and answered quickly. I quickly learned that creating and managing our Tour Activities and Flight Experiences was so much easier with Xola. What was especially nice is that we did not have to sacrifice flexibility to gain ease of use. Xola is both flexible and user-friendly. Integrating with our website was simple. In fact, I was able to relieve myself of maintaining additional web pages because Xola fit so seamlessly into our existing site. Another benefit of Xola is the feedback I get from our Customers about our tours because Xola makes it easy for them to leave comments and testimonials. I do wish I could integrate those reviews with our website without having to re-type them. But this is a small price to pay to hear from my Customers! This booking and marketing engine has many good features and great Customer Service. But the big bonus is that it is affordable for any size operator. Very good value.

Comments: Obviously I find Xola a great fit for my business by the rating I gave it. I have answers to my questions within minutes of my emails which is impressive. Since I started with them, I have seen them only grow and continue to offer features that are increasingly robust. I would like to see them dumb it down a little for us non-coding guys and offer more options for book now and gift it buttons. On the plus side all you have to do is ask and they will provide one.

Comments: Xola's primary function is to create activity listings of your company's tours/services and be able to easily integrate a scheduling and booking system into a website to compliment those service listings. It couldn't be more spot on in doing just that. The interfaces the "cloud-based" service uses are easy for even those easily intimidated by websites and technology, after all the businesses that Xola is best for are run by outdoorsmen and outoorswomen who feel more comfortable in nature than in front of the glow of a computer monitor. If you are tech savvy, then it's all that much easier to get Xola setup for your company. Our online sales are up at least 25% since we've integrated Xola. Our booking and reservations are more organized ten fold, and the support and response to feedback provided by Xola's representatives is beyond outstanding. If you are looking for a low-cost, easy to use booking management and online reservation system that has the customer support to back it all up, then look no further. I hardly ever right a review unless I have seen extremely superior results from a company, so please keep that in mind after reading my thoughts on our experience with Xola. I wish I could give a con, but there is nothing negative about including this technology into your business. I have compared numerous other companies that offer similar services, and Xola beats the price point and functionality of all of them, hands down.

At the time I was apprehensive to switch to a new system because I wasn't sure how quickly or easily my staff and I would be able to adapt to a new reservation platform. I soon discovered that the system is very intuitive and easy to figure out. When I did run into questions, the team at Xola was fast to respond with answers and solutions. I have been especially impressed with their eagerness to seek out suggestions for improvement and, secondly, implement them to perfection. In our business, there seems to always be customizations and bizarre situations that require a lot of flexibility within a system. Comments: I've been using Xola for 1 1/2 years, and I'm very happy with how the platform helps me run my business. From my computer or phone, I can easily receive and accept bookings, manage my calendar, and more. Xola helps me stay on top of my booking schedule and reminds my customers of their schedule in advance of their tour. Their review integration with TripAdvisor has also been extremely helpful for improving my online ranking. The system is easy for tech novices, and has all the bells and whistles you'd need for managing a complicated tour business. On top of it all the fees are very manageable, and they only charge me when I'm already making money. I would enthusiastically recommend Xola to other tour operators.
