An ambitious 10 hour program of innovative testing training, video streamed to the Group's professional testers worldwide
Dayton, OH (PRWEB) June 12, 2009 -- Sogeti Group, a leading international provider of professional IT services, held its Second Testing Academy on April 29th 2009 in Gouvieux, France. This international online training conference was developed to provide Sogeti consultants with access to the best professional development in the field of software testing.
As last year, the purpose of the event was to provide training to as large a number of professional testers around the world as cost-effectively as possible without disrupting client work. Therefore, the conference was video-streamed live via WebEx to Sogeti consultants and testing professionals from India, through Europe to the US, who logged on remotely from home, Group offices and other locations. 'Virtual attendees' were able to participate, viewing presentations in real-time and interacting with the presenter using the WebEx tool.
This year's conference was ambitious in scope: it featured over 20 individual presentations, mainly from Sogeti's own testing thought leaders, but also from guest speakers from key testing partners from France, US, UK and Netherlands.
The program was focused on providing access to the latest innovative thinking in all aspects of software testing, so that consultants could add new concepts and testing models to their skill base. Hot testing topics on the program included Agile, End-to-end testing, Model-based testing Test automation and Sogeti's latest development - Cloud Testing.
