Pros

Yellowstone Hotel Systems designed and maintains our current website, which we absolutely love.
The design process was very easy and we were impressed by the responsiveness and professionalism of their team.

YHS also manages our online marketing campaigns and strategies.
The marketing team is extremely knowledgeable and is maintaining what we see as one of the most critically important elements to the success of our business.

Conolidated services and single point of support SAVE US SO MUCH TIME.

The OpenBook management software and how it truly and seamlessly integrates with the online booking engine and Expedia is truly amazing to us.
This SAVES US SO MUCH TIME. Automated confirmation letters ensure that no guest booking online is going to ever say that they were never told our policies.

OpenBook releives so many redundant tasks and headaches we were experincing with our prevous software system. Really a new way of doing business for our property.

Cons

As with any software option there are "work arounds" we are working around and new features that we are eagerly waiting to see released.


Overall

All said we researched companies for over two years. The matters that pressed us to change were lack of user friendlienss we were expereincing with our old system, PCI compliance, integrated credit card processing, integrated and intuitive features, GDS connectivitiy and Live Distribution Management.

We found this with YHS.

We sat through countless presentations, ran cost analysis, compared services, called references etc... There are many companies out there, but to our research and understanding there is no company innovating and adapting to industry demand like YHS.

If you are reading this review we highly recommend that you meet with YHS. They went out of their way to customize a solution that fit our needs.
When applied the solution is far exceeding our expectations and it was SO EASY.
Ultimately we added services and reduced costs and it's saving us time and making our property a nicer place to stay.

Pros

Open Book has been an easy software program to use and to train new employees. The software provides good reporting.

Cons

Some features do not work well with our deposit policies and cancellations, etc. It is not easy to add property specific needs.

Overall

We have and will continue to recommend Open Book
