Pros
This product is fantastic for managing a team of business development professionals. In my current role, I am collaborating with colleagues across various timezones and it can get quite confusing to keep track of attachments via email. This product keeps all my documents in one dashboard. Thanks to EMBER, I never again have to worry about accidently deleting an important email.
Cons
I didn't buy it sooner.
Overall
This product is incredibly intuitive, you can master the interface in 10 minutes. It's much cheaper than other software of it's kind. Much cheaper! Finally, due to the SAAS deliver I can work on a proposal campaign at any location.

Pros
1) Low cost and simple license plan.
2) Implementation takes less than a day and requires very little training (if any) to start using.
3) Enables collaboration throughout the proposal process and across multiple organizations. Licenses are only required for company users which means all partners and external users have access for free.
4) Takes the proposal process out of your email and moves it into an online environment accessible from any web browser.
5) Reports and resource charts allow managers and business leaders to assess their current business development workload.
6) Allows proposal leads to monitor data calls and identify outstanding tasks.
7) Automated instant or daily emails keep the team aware of changes and updates without flooding their in-box.
8) Customizable workflows are flexible enough to handle any proposal and provide a structured framework for the proposal team to follow.
Cons
1) Importing/exporting data requires contacting the Customer Support team and is not an automated process. However, it can still be done in a timely manner.
2) Does not import data from fedbizops.org. These fields must be entered manually, but the effort required is minimal.
Overall
I would recommend this for any business that submits proposals in response to government Request for Proposals (RFPs). Not only does it make tracking your business development activities easy, it streamlines the entire proposal process. While it is handy for small companies that need to track their business development efforts, it is practically required for any company that plans to prime a contract. Without it, gathering data from sub-contractors via email is extremely time consuming and error prone. Given the free trial period (30 days with full capabilities and assistance with setting up your first proposal), it is worth trying out. For our company, it has been a huge time saver that has enabled our business development team to focus on winning proposals instead of spending all of their time managing the process.
