The only downside I would say is that when they do updates (which fortunately isn't that often) the software will act a little buggy for a day or two, but nothing major.

Initially, I didn't look at any other software besides OwnerRez. Now, after I used OwnerRez for a few years, I did look at some of the other ones out there. I looked at what they offered versus what my needs were, and I found that OwnerRez actually had me covered, it was the right choice. I got lucky picking the software, but the other software just didn't have everything I needed for my needs to direct book. Some of the things I liked about OwnerRez is that it gives me all the tools to properly book direct, offering accidental damage insurance, DocuSign signed rental agreements, and a great example of a rental agreement, but it offers my guests travel insurance just in case they have to change their stay. It is a very intricate process and I didn't want to miss anything, but after using the product for a little while, you definitely get used to it and it becomes second nature. First thing I would urge others about is to define your problem and see if this is going to solve it. The biggest issue I see with short-term rental owners is not having all the tools that they need to direct book, as well as manage the platform, such as Airbnb, VRBO, et cetera. This is the one tool, the only tool I've seen that offers everything you need underneath one product, and I cannot stress the importance of that. I highly recommend OwnerRez.
Sheila: My name is Sheila and I am the owner of a cleaning and linen company. This is for hospitality services and vacation rentals, and I give VRScheduler a five-star rating. I did consider using QuickBooks. However, QuickBooks is not a scheduling program the way that we would need for our particular company. So I did some research and VRScheduler was highly recommended, and that's how we started using VRScheduler. We initially chose VRScheduler for a couple of reasons. Number one was the ratings, when I was researching a scheduling program. The second thing would be the cost, it's very cost-effective. Also, the customer service was excellent before, during, and after the sale. Onboarding with VRScheduler was actually pretty easy. There were a few questions that I had, because this is the first time that I had used some actual scheduling program. I had been doing everything in a calendar book, but the staff was just super wonderful and super helpful, and explained the whole process to me from A to Z. There was a lot of things that I wasn't aware that the VRScheduler was able to do. They explained those and just made onboarding super easy. I would recommend VRScheduler very highly for anyone who has needs for a scheduling program, or a scheduling management program. It does make your day-to-day scheduling super easy, keeping up with your staff, their hours, how long it takes for them to do a job, the reports, the tasks reports, the check-in and check-out reports. It is a full management program for anyone that needs a scheduling program. I recommend it highly, and it's very cost-effective compared to the other programs out there. You'll be just very happy with that purchase, and also with the customer service after the sale. You don't buy the program and they just let you go on your own after that. You can send them an email and within a few hours, if not minutes, you've got a reply.
