This product is great and it was very easy to setup and both user and admin live it as it makes the password reset request a chinch and I’m quite happy with it.
The GPO settings when we first installed were a tad confusing and we ended up with users initially seeing extra icons for one of their other services we did not own.
The setup was easy, and our users are very happy with the experience Specops provides when setting a new password. We feel the value it provides is well worth the cost.
You cannot set a list of banned words for pass phrases, only passwords.
SpecOps has provided that flexibility. Also the breech password checking and reporting is a great feature and the main reason we brought the product.
Overall, very pleased other than the initial quirks with setup and their support was very responsive at the time. This was done before the Outpost 24 acquisition, so I hope it remains just as good.
My overall experience with Microsoft Authenticator has been positive. It offers a reliable and secure two-factor authentication (2FA) solution, enhancing the security of my accounts.
Only having two apps separately for mobile and computer is time wasting.
What I like the most is that it has good integration with other apps, as well as being easy to use.
It would make my day to make them have no separate password service.
Overall this is an amazing product for Microsoft. Highly recommend when you are already in a Microsoft environment.
No separate function for specific pin to lock the app. It uses your fingerprint or phone pin.
I like that all of my user profiles feel secure while using this software. I like that the app is easy to use and straightforward.
A bit tricky if you forget a login, change phone number or phone device.
Rilwan B.: Hi. My name is Rilwan. I'm the co-founder and product designer at [inaudible 00:00:07]. Right now, it's a team of seven people and on a scale of one to five, I'll give Microsoft Authenticator a five. Thanks. So before Microsoft Authenticator, we used the Google Authenticator and the reason why we had stopped using the Google [inaudible 00:00:25] was because for business, most of the softwares we use are softwares provided by Microsoft for our mobile app, for the website as well. So it just made more sense for us to switch over to Microsoft, which is why we kind of did that, yeah. The main reason would be for security, which is why most businesses will use Authenticator. You want to make sure not just anybody has access to whatever you're doing because as a startup, you've got lots of data you're dealing with. You've got lots of sensitive information as well and the way it works is not every member of this staff has access to every bit of information. So with Microsoft Authenticator, it just makes it easier for you to actually [inaudible 00:01:11] track who has accessed the information as well. So it gives you that second level of security for the sensitive information you're dealing with. Probably it's, I think, three to four steps. So basically what you just do is you go onto the platform. You scan the QR code and then you're set up on it. So it's less than one minute yourself on it and it's informative as well. So I kind of get an idea of what you're doing. So it was really easy. On a scale of one to five, definitely a five to set up. Authenticator is one of those softwares I think almost every business, most of your things are centered around softwares provided by Microsoft. You will definitely need it because if you're a start-up and you are dealing with customers, then you probably get some of their data and you need to make sure this is all protected and making sure the information that is being conveyed from us from one part of the business, the other part of the business is kind of regulated and making sure the right person has access to it. So in that situation, Microsoft Authenticator will definitely be the best to help you with that one. So I would definitely recommend maybe a small business or your big business and you need that extra level of security to actually make sure the right people have access to the right information. Then Microsoft Authenticator is [inaudible 00:02:37]. Thanks.
