Sirvoy is a customizable Hospitality Management System and Channel Manager for accommodation providers. Our user-friendly, feature-rich software offers outstanding value at a competitive price.
The SkyTouch hotel operations platform is suited for hotels of virtually any size or type that needs a Reliable, Intuitive, Simple and Cost-Effective hotel management solution for their properties.
It has an easy access and is user friendly. The most I liked the quick and professional help.
It does not work as well with Airbnb as it does with our other channels, for example having to manually cancel bookings on Sirvoy when they are cancelled on Airbnb.
The most positive experience is the service of sirvoy. These guys are great in helping and introducing into the software.
And when a booking for Airbnb is cancelled it shows up on Sirvoy as a 'No Name' booking.
Being able to use a platform like Sirvoy has enabled us to modernize our business and we love it due to its ease in use, its value for money and in that it helps us with our accounting.
Mapping with Citybreak caused a little trouble.
The software is user-friendly, very easy to use. The software help me out alot, it included a simple booking engine for your website and channel manager for popular OTAs in an affordable price.
However, if you take a closer look there are some features that I especially miss. This depends from user to user.
The ease of use , and great customer service , easy to understand commands, and navigation of the software is super.
Tape Chart not able to view past info. Inability to easily make a promo for a room block on line - involves upping to a ridiculous amount the regular bookings to block all but promo.
I enjoy the ease of use and that it is cloud based, it is colorful and attractive for new staff, we have two way integration with Site Minder and this has saved a lot of time and energy.
I did recommend this product to another property and they ended up selecting this product and they have had really bad trouble with it. Now I feel like an idiot.
I have worked with skytouch and choice advantage for that matter and I am very pleased. It really does simplify the day to day operations.
There are frequent outages where the system is inaccessible because of an update to their system. Not only that, there is absolutely NO UX design in mind in their product.
Its a pretty great system and the reps are always willing to help out anyway that they can.
Now I'm told it isn't a SkyT problem but Shift4. I don't understand how that could happen when 3 years ago Shift4 and SkyTouch talked and figured out it was a SkyTouch problem.
Dan: Hi. My name is Dan. I'm the general manager of a hotel here in the hospitality industry. I'm here to review SkyTouch Hotel OS. Out of five stars, I would give it a five. We were using another piece of software called Maestro PMS. We've been with that company since about 2003. It has some great features and some great options, but it really struggled at the time with connecting to some online sites and that was just becoming very problematic for us as a company. The integrations also weren't quite as plentiful as they were with SkyTouch. That was really important to us in looking for a new property management suite. There were so many reasons why we chose SkyTouch. First of all, the price point. They were more affordable than the software that we were with before. Obviously, that was super helpful. They have so many integrations with other functionalities. Like with our key card provider that made for a seamless integration. They were also integrated with a number of the online travel agencies. That allowed us to get our rooms and our inventory up and available online. That opened up a whole new world for us. Modifying reservations is super simple. In some cases, you can literally just drag and drop a guest from one room to another room. With our previous provider, you had to cancel it and make a new reservation and it just became a real time-intensive process. The other part that we really liked about SkyTouch is that it was cloud-based. We didn't have to worry about posting the service here on any of our local servers. Knowing that SkyTouch was taking care of the security elements there really gave us a big peace of mind. They also have this really cool training function called SkyTouch University that allows you to go through each of the modules and learn step-by-step what the process is. How to use the program, how to troubleshoot, which was not only helpful as the administrator and the one who implemented the program. Also, it's a wonderful tool for each of our staff when they come onboard, when they're starting out here with us at the hotel. It was overall a pretty simple process onboarding with SkyTouch. Starting new reservations is obviously really, really simple. The one piece that would have been helpful would be allowing a data merge and that wasn't a feature at the time with SkyTouch. We weren't able to just import all of our existing reservations in with them. That was really just a matter of getting our staff members to basically take one reservation at a time out of the old system. The cool part was it actually helped them learn how to use SkyTouch even more quickly by actually making those real reservations. Other than that, there was a strong support team with SkyTouch available to walk us through the process to help us make sure all of our settings were correct, the pictures were updated. It was a really easy process. I would absolutely encourage everyone to check out SkyTouch. Like I said, they're an easy company to work with. Their 24/7 phone support is fantastic. Even if you're calling at two in the morning with a problem, they've got somebody there. Overall, I couldn't have been more pleased with the decision to move to SkyTouch. I would highly recommend that everybody consider them as well.
