Our sweet spot is medium and large churches of 100 to 4,000 (worship) that need extra features like two-way text, but don't have staff with the desire and skill set to code software themselves.
At Gloo, we empower church leaders, ministry staff, and faith-based organization leaders to connect more deeply with their communities.
I like that with Church teams you can email or text everybody or select groups. We love the check in ability and the ease of bringing others into using it.
You can do it but the process is hard it does not embed into our website template and is clunky. This all may be a lack of knowledge issue.
I love ChurchTeams, and highly recommend it to anyone who wants to empower their leaders and volunteers to connect directly with what is happening any your church.
Support, is likely the worst piece of Church Teams for me. I called at 7pm the other night, they were closed, I called at 10.30am my time yesterday, they were closed.
They have many videos that you can watch to help you learn on your own time if customer service is not available. Always super friendly and helpful.
It's very inconvenient; too many steps, too much time and limiting for those who don't have administrative permissions.
We have found the mobile-friendly update to be excellent and quite helpful for us as administrators. The customer service and support have been absolutely excellent.
One thing that we really are missing is a generalized calendar to put all of our church events on.
We've been using it since it was Thryve and have loved seeing such amazing improvements. It was also a huge blessing to have it be free for quite some time during Covid.
Some explorers were confused when I contacted them. I am not sure how to fix that.
The features and community have really resonated with me, and I believe it has a lot to offer. I love sharing my positive experiences and encouraging others to check it out.
I am not using 10% what I need to be using and that is a problem.
It's a great resource for reaching the congregation and community. It has been very easy to navigate and the support team is great.
I can't think of any aspect of this service that I am unhappy with.
Great platform, I really like the Discovery area and of course, huge fan of the mass texting engagement tools and Explorer program.
I don't get many replies. No visitors have come from the new mover mailers.
Speaker 1: My name is Arlona. I'm the media, arts, and technology assistant, and I would give Churchteams a five out of five. For more information click below. Before we switched over to Churchteams, we were using a program called Shelby arena, which was a very powerful program, but it was so hard to use. It was really difficult for our admins to input information and then get back out meaningful information. It was always a struggle to run a single report. We switched over to Churchteams for quite a few reasons, but mostly it was because it was so good for small groups, keeping track of people coming and going, and the workflows just make sense, not only to me as the administrator, but they make sense to my pastor, and they make sense to the people using the information and the people entering the data. And we're just able to work seamlessly with one database now. Instead of having multiple databases, everybody is comfortable using Churchteams, so it actually gets used by my staff and by my congregation. It was really super hard to get started with Churchteams because I could not figure out how to get the information out of the old database. Once I figured out how to get the information out of the old database, loading everything into Churchteams was smooth sailing. They did all of the heavy lifting for me, answered all of the questions that I had, and really helped make it a smooth transition. Definitely try out Churchteams. It is a great tool that our pastors are actually leaning into using, and we're finding it to be a good, great fit for our church.
