The SimBit is really good, an excellent tool for quick start. The introduction is really good.
I find there is a lack of documentation in general.
It is a good simulation software with easy to understand charts and reports. Its visuals are very good and easy to use.
Advanced functions might get hard to use if you don't have an experienced user helping you. Error messages could be more explicit and create a reference to where the configurational conflict lies.
It has improved a lot and, at this time, I think is the best simulation software. As a profesor and a researcher, my students and I take advantage of its flexibility, easy of use, and performance.
Hidden functions (hard to find functions intuitively). Lack of shared materials online (compared to Arena).
The support team are great and very friendly and over all I find the package excellent. I would certainly recommend this to others.
Sometimes it is difficult to build a logic, especially with processes.
Easy to Use, The interface is super user-friendly with a huge Component Library: It comes with a massive library of pre-built components and models. It's a fantastic tool for learning and training.
Additionally, the connectivity with TIA Portal PLCSim relies on an unprofessional tool that suffers from poor support, which can hinder effective integration and use.
My overall experience with Visual Components has been great. I love using it for my automation projects and the help I have gotten when I have had a questions has been good too.
Lack of more parametric components on the library.
Your program is top notch, very clear and intuitive. It significantly contributes to the successful completion of our business activities.
Some suppliers are missing or take a while to get new products on the package.
These advantages make VisualComponents a powerful tool for education in industrial automation, simulation, and optimization, significantly improving the productivity and accuracy of learning projects.
From time to time the software may crash and needs to be restarted.
