BambooHR brings all your employee, payroll, time, and benefit information together in one place, giving you the data accuracy, security, and coordination you need to sleep soundly.
Small and mid-sized businesses looking to find and keep employees, offer cost-effective employee benefits, keep up with employment regulations, grow, and more.
Its been very pleasant, I have been enjoying using BambooHR. Its so wonderful to have it customizable to my preferences, and not only that to navigate easily.
I was ashamed to use this as the face of my company to new hires. The user permissions structure was confusing also.
Payroll, Benefits, Time Tracking, Performance Management, etc. I've enjoyed working with their team and appreciate all the help they have provided.
This happened nearly every year after I have spent almost an hour writing, and then POOF! all of it would be lost.
I love how easy it is to find my coworkers and see who's on vacation. I love how easy it is to request time off and also locate employee contacts if I need it.
There have been almost no updates to the UX/UI and the platforms visuals. It's hard to navigate around, unintuitive and overall tiring.
It's quite nice to have a central hub for most of the information I need as an employee of a growing company. It has a nice user interface and all seems pretty intuitive to operate.
I think notifications is the missing feature notifications of new Hires. Notifications before Time off.
I love the ease of ADP TotalSource, the confidence I have that I will always be informed of new laws and regulations, and the reporting capabilities.
The technology is something you would see in the 90's. The UI is extremely difficult to navigate, links disappear, and the employees absolutely hate it.
I have always found their customer service to be very helpful. I like the convenience of being able to log on anytimw anywhere to keep track of all my important payroll and benefits information.
Worst thing is when we forget the password, saving password process is complicated and confusing.
There is so much information, that you can just navigate around a stumble across great information that is so useful in planning and helping employees.
Service: My sales representative "forgot" to cancel our previous RUN service when she moved us over to TotalSource.
From being able to print off past statements, to being able to view current and past benefits this is an amazing program. The customer service has always been amazing to work with.
To my understanding, my company stopped using it because it was costing it too much money. We decided to go with another software called BambooHR.
Kurt: My name is Kurt. I am the Chief People Officer with Louisville Paving and Construction and we are 554 active team members. I would definitely give BambooHR a number five rating. Prior to implementing BambooHR, less than a year ago, we had a whole hodgepodge of systems and just a myriad of Excel spreadsheets. We are obviously very pleased to be a company that has grown very quickly. Just less than three years ago, we had less than 300 people. Right now, we're hoping to top 600 people. So we grew very quickly and really found ourselves in a position of really struggling with how to organize our information in one location. So we obviously chose BambooHR. It was clearly the right decision for us as it was easy to implement and so we're quite pleased with that. We chose BambooHR, one is because obviously it's an industry recognized brand, it's also scalable, so it was the right size for us. It wasn't too big, it wasn't too small. It fit perfectly within our needs. The implementation process was something that was going to be critical to us because we were also in the process of implementing an ERP parallel to this. So while the two systems eventually did integrate through an API, we were looking for ease of implementation. Obviously a good reputation, which BambooHR does have and then also from a cost standpoint, we wanted to make sure that this was something that also fit within our budget. I've been in this industry, it'll be 35 years this month, and this was by far the easiest implementation and hopefully the last implementation I will do from an HRIS perspective. I think from beginning to end, with respect to the implementation and talking to the sales rep who then handed us off to a more than capable project manager, we were about five weeks from very beginning to very end, getting more than 500 people up and running on the BambooHR platform. For anyone that's considering BambooHR, I think it's really a strong recommendation. Again, similar to the process that we went through, make sure that it's the right size for your needs. Obviously, make sure that the cost fits within your budget. I do like the fact that you're not locked into a long-term contract, which gives you flexibility. But above and beyond, I will tell you that not only was the implementation seamless, it's obviously well worth the cost that we spend for it. The support that we get from BambooHR is top-notch. I've never received such a high level of support, responsiveness and creativity from any of their support associates like I have with BambooHR. Highly recommend them.
Brandon M.: Hi, my name's Brandon. I am president at Visual Language Professionals. Rating for ADP TotalSource would be a one out of five. Prior to ADP TotalSource, we initially started off on QuickBooks Online, and then we transitioned to Gusto for our payroll and benefits and eventually ended up with ADP. ADP offered better pricing on health, and dental, and vision insurance. And initially, during the sales process, we were promised better technology. It was painful. I think at that time, ADP was undergoing some internal changes on how they brought new clients on board, so we had to sign a lot of the same documents three, four, or five times while they figured out their electronic signature software. We went through several different project managers, and it took about double the length of time that they had initially quoted us. I would say that ADP TotalSource is not a good fit for small businesses that don't have a lot of resources dedicated to troubleshooting the software. If you're looking for a solution that provides quick and responsive support, they would not be my recommendation. I think there are better companies out there that provide stronger service for small businesses like mine.
