Overall, I’m very pleased with the software! It’s been a great addition to our resources and we continue to rely on it more and more.

Pros

It is very easy to use and navigate. We keep adding the use of more features of the software for our team and it’s been a great resource!

Cons

We use the system to track mileage and topics for 1:1s with our supervisors (among other things). I find it difficult to add mileage using the app and there is no way to even access the tab for 1:1s with my supervisor in the app.

My experience has been positive. It’s reliable, easy to navigate, and does a great job of keeping HR information and processes organized in one place. While there are a few areas that could be smoother—especially around deeper reporting and reducing clicks—it’s still a solid tool for day-to-day HR needs.

Pros

It is clean and straightforward BambooHR is for the basics—finding employee info, org details, and important documents is quick and not buried under too many menus. I also appreciate how it centralizes HR tasks (like time-off requests and approvals) so there’s less back-and-forth

Cons

Some areas feel a bit limited once you need more detail—like- reporting or pulling specific insights can require extra steps or doesn’t always give the exact view you want without workarounds. Also, the user experience can feel slightly inconsistent depending on the section you’re in, so a few workflows take more clicks than expected.

They have great support and even when I have trouble it usually ends up with a good result. Overall, I'd say we are very happy with it.

Pros

They added some great features as far as their time sheet goes and tracking hours. The setup is still easy and support is great.

Cons

I still have a little trouble getting reports to report on what I want it to. Also, with all the upgrades, their pricing has gone up.

This software was easy to use. It was especially good when trying run a small retail business with only a few employees. I wouldn’t really say I had any cons with his software. I wouldn’t use it for a large company. Its more for small businesses.

My overall experience with BambooHR has been transformative, especially coming from a background of manual spreadsheets and fragmented PDFs. Transitioning to a unified platform has professionalized our internal operations and significantly reduced the administrative "ping-pong" that typically happens between HR and the rest of the team. In a fast-paced agency environment, having a "hired-to-retired" workflow that actually works is a massive relief. It has allowed us to scale our onboarding—sending out digital offer letters and new hire packets in minutes rather than hours—while keeping our employee data clean and compliant. While no software is perfect—the reporting engine can feel a bit rigid when you need hyper-specific, cross-tabular data—the trade-off for such an intuitive user interface is well worth it. It’s one of the few tools we use that requires almost zero training for new hires; they just "get it."

Pros

The interface is incredibly intuitive, requiring almost zero training for new hires. The "hired-to-retired" onboarding workflow is a massive time-saver, allowing us to send out digital offer letters and new hire packets in minutes. The mobile app is also a standout; our team actually uses it to request PTO and check the org chart, which keeps everyone connected in a hybrid environment, allowing us to better manage our small business. Customer support for the software has been minimal, as it does what it is supposed to do, but pleasant and easy when needed. The cost for this software seems well worth it, considering what is gained from it, and has significantly brought the business's HR costs down.

Cons

The reporting engine, while great for standard metrics like turnover and headcount, can feel a bit rigid if you need highly customized, cross-tabular data. Also, while the integrations are good, some advanced automation triggers (like specific notifications for custom fields) are more limited than I’d like.

Overall my experience has been good enough for day‑to‑day HR work. It’s not perfect but it does the job. Once you get used to where things are it’s pretty easy to use and keeps things organized. A few things could be smoother but nothing that stops you from getting work done.

Pros

I like that BambooHR keeps all the HR info in one spot it just makes things easier to manage. The layout is clean and not too confusing, so you can find stuff pretty quick Time off requests and basic employee details are super simple to handle without extra steps

Cons

Some features feel a bit limited, like you expect more options but they’re not there Reports take a while to figure out and sometimes don’t show exactly what you need Support is ok but sometimes you wait longer than you want for a reply

Il est vrai que BambooHR est très facile à prendre en main, mais l’intégration à certaines applications n'est pas aussi facile que d’autres. À HubSpot et Slack, c’est compliqué par rapport à la suite Microsoft.
