Network for Good enables us to have various campaigns and accept payment, with the software automatically integrated so we save time not having to manually enter every donation.
My initial training/on-boarding was complete chaos and I was fearing I had made a terrible mistake in deciding on this route.
Network for Good is aesthetically pleasing and makes every effort to be clear in where data is held. The live graphics of fundraising goals and the website integration are amazing.
We've had a lot of problems with dupes and figuring out the best way to dispose of dead records. Sometimes, all the information isn't there.
Easy to see my donors and see if they were acknowledged for their donations. The layout is great and the ease to enter donations and write and use acknowledgements is wonderful.
Trouble inputting contact info so that it conveys to the different media - email, paper mail, text salutations.
Network for Good has an easy to use reports and filters with it’s own built in email platform. They have great, easily accessible customer service.
I'll let you know once I figure this out because I haven't encountered a problem yet.
The most important and best aspect of the vendor is that very attentive to the feedback and prompt on requests for modification to platform.
There are things that can be done, one is to run failed transactions automatically for 3 times before you mark it a failed.
It has streamlined our financial management. The support team including Mohsin Bhally, Firdaus, Abida, have been super cooperative with a focus on service excellence.
NO API access to generate on demand reports not available in MOHID.
Excellent security and access management. We really like donation module and been able to map program accounts to ledge accounts.
It always prompts for actual date value which is a pain. Kiosk cannot accept ACH payments.
Best part is its all cloud based so you can use it pretty much from any where including Kiosk configuration changes. Kiosk hardware and display is also really neat, making donation process real easy.
Inability to split donation amount into categories.
Melissa: Hi, I'm Melissa, executive director of Townspeople, and I would rate Bonterra as a five out of five. Before Bonterra, we were using Salesforce, which just was not user-friendly for what we needed. It required too much the customization and development. We wanted something that was more intuitive and Bonterra met those needs. We chose Bonterra because it was incredibly easy to set up. The team that was assigned to us was super friendly and approachable and accessible. It's really easy to use and also very affordable, and we're a small nonprofit, so that was huge for us. Getting started with Bonterra was incredibly easy. I've looked at other systems before and they project out two months implementation, and we were ready to go in less than a week. They mapped out all the steps for us and were willing to hold our hands through each one, and it integrates with a lot of the systems we already used. And so, it was easy to complete those integrations and watch the online trainings and make sure that the teams were all ready to go to use it. My advice for anyone looking to check out Bonterra would be to talk with their customer service and their team. They're very open to talk to you about whether the product will work for you based on your needs, and they're really honest with us, and I appreciated that. I've talked with other systems that try to talk down about other systems, and they weren't like that at all. They appreciated the good and what everyone has to offer, and really we're trying to make sure whether they were a good fit for us. So that went a long way for me and for Townspeople.
