The system is super user friendly, fast and simple. Having the phone app makes it an amazing option for checking in people before the event.
I have yet to encounter any negative experiences with this software.
I'm very satisfied with this platform as it meets my needs at zero cost. Questions have been answered promptly by customer service, and staff have responded in helpful and friendly ways.
Gross vs net sales have to be accounted for on our end, and our ticket buyers also absorb their own fees.
Great company and great support and special props to [SENSITIVE CONTENT] as he truly cares, something not found in customer services and sales depts these days.
The site was a little difficult to manage from a mobile device.
PromoTix has been an excellent solution for managing events effectively. It simplifies ticketing, promotion, and attendee engagement, making it an indispensable tool for event organizers.
Trying to edit my event was a little difficult.
Easy to use, easy to control the back-end, fantastic friendly staff who help you for all your queries 24-7.
Its restricted in its interface with who and how you can connect and handshake with your processor. Works well with PayPal, problems with authorize.net, unable to connect to other processors.
The documentation is easy to follow and comprehensive. Customizing the installation is also pretty straightforward, and the customer service is great.
Backend is not completely translated into German, requires personal initiative. Backend may be a bit confusing for box office staff.
I love how easy it is for people to pick their seat and either print out a physical ticket or use an E-Ticket. Their customer support is amazing.
If I had times setup problems or misunderstand something, I was quickly supported by Gordon Farmer over the administrative surface or with SQL commands which I could enter myself.
It was the perfect solution for the events we support and we have recently moved to electronic ticketing, which worked great. I STRONGLY recommend osConcert.
No negative note, even if the settings interface is hardly articulated, this allows a greater configuration of the software.
Joe M.: Hi, my name is Joe. I am an independent record producer, and I also work with my artists in management as well. And I am using osConcert and absolutely love it, I'd give it a five out of five. When I started my search for a ticketing platform, most of them like FestivalPro charged fees on top of the cost of the software, where osConcert once you pay for the software the fees are all yours, if you want to charge them or you don't even have to charge them, so it's great for your customers. So I picked osConcert because number one, again, I don't have to pay any fees, but it integrates with my PayPal, it integrates with my website and it allows me to do multiple ticketing types. So I can do a VIP ticket, I can do a general ticket, I can even pre-sell t-shirts or sandwiches or anything else that I'd like to as well along with the ticket. osConcert was a very, very easy web based setup. I think I was up and operating with everything I needed to do in 30 minutes. The one negative that I found about osConcert that I hope they fixed as it shows the amount of tickets remaining. So if you get really close to the show and there's still hundreds of tickets left, I think that keeps buyers from buying. But in general, I think anybody who needs to sell tickets, especially an independent, like me really needs to go out and use this software. It's an awesome piece of work.
