Charm is a user friendly, patient friendly, online EMR system. It has many different features that help to automate many tedious tasks and help take the burden off of smaller clinics/teams.
This is a misleading question. My experience of the software.
I had worked with hospital-based EHR systems in the past, and I am delighted to report that ChARM EHR has been far more reliable than the previous hospital-systems I used.
WE ARE STILL HAVING ISSUES WITH BILLING AND CAN'T GET ANYONE FROM THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE TO RESPOND. THEY CHARGED US $3000 TO TRANSFER PATIENT DATA FROM OUR OLD SYSTEM.
Overall, I am very pleased and feel excited to start to use even more features that I am using right now. I would recommend Charm to anyone starting in private practice in psychiatry.
There is no orders tab, no diagnostic testing tab. Everything that is a task, can be completed, but not deferred or deleted if not performed.
We love a lot about this software and how it has optimized our buisness- the calendar is beautiful and the features are very thoughtful.
I really can't think of anything that we disliked.
The simplicity of the product is great; it is easy to learn and everyone on the support team has been very helpful throughout the entire integration process.
I have also been charged for services promised to be refunded but then charged anyways. As a new business I think they will put me of business before I can get started due to their fees.
I've never seen help files that are as robust and updated as consistently, and the phone support is consistently awesome. Friendly people, user friendly product, great value for the price.
Reporting side is horrible. Must swing back and forth between Internet Explorer and Chrome because if you have Advanced insight it does not work in Chrome.
The pricing is excellent and affordable. Their pm software is robust without being complicated which speaks volumes to the medical community.
They are unprofessional, and over-priced. Their cost is outrageous for the services received and are likely to cost you even more due to the software and inability to support their clients properly.
Customer Service is Awesome. Great reporting - easy to learn and customized pricing.
Speed degradation is common complain. Our Practice, and patients and staff suffer as a result, and we lost lot our reputation with Patients and big financial lose for practice.
Matthew: Hi. My name is Matthew. I'm a pediatrician, and I give ChARM EHR a rating of five. We've looked at a number of different EHRs in our quest for a sophisticated but easy-to-use program. We were using Practice Fusion, but after the cost got prohibitive and the software not really that functional, we started looking for some other avenues. We looked at Kareo, we looked at AdvancedMD, and we looked at Amazing Charts. Those were the three big ones that we looked at. All of them were very good, but they were either cost-prohibitive or too complex and not easy to use via the scheduler or to be putting in notes. ChARM EHR was one of the ones that we looked at, and it really fit the bill perfectly. It's, was easily customizable, and the cost, because we have a small practice, was very low. It did what we had to do. It was very user-friendly. The scheduler was easy to use. Plus, it gave me an app on my phone to look at my schedule on a daily basis. Couldn't ask for any more than that. ChARM was very easy to implement in the office since it was cloud-based. We were able to input most of the data very, very easily since we have a small practice, but the user interface was very user-friendly. It didn't require a lot of time, and because it was cloud-based, it could be done from various locations, both from my office and from my receptionist's home if we had to. So the onboarding and the implementation was very, very quick and easy. We found ChARM EHR to be a good fit for our practice, because it was relatively small, and the cost was minimum. However, if your practice is a large practice, the cost may get prohibitive. The ChARM EHR program is very easily user-friendly. It's customizable, and it is pinpointed for any particular practice, whether it be pediatrics, family medicine, general medicine. The varied templates that are there are easily customizable. Their software support is excellent. They get back to you very quickly. So I really recommend it highly for anyone that has a practice that is relatively small, that needs a user-friendly program, and it's easily customizable.
Alexandra: My name is Alexandra, and I am the owner of Halcyon Bill Co in Las Vegas, Nevada. We work with a broad range of specialties nationally for medical billing and medical consulting services. I give AdvancedMD EHR five out of five. Prior to using AdvancedMD EHR, we were using Kareo EHR as well as Practice Fusion. The major issues with both of those EHRs for our clients was their lack of ability to be flexible when it came to the needs of the practices. For example, customizable note templates or something that is really important to practices and both of those EHRs struggle to provide that. They also lacked some sophistication when it came to integrations and even support in setting them up. I recommend AdvancedMD EHR to my clients based on its extreme flexibility and being able to customize to the practices needs. Everything from scheduling to prescription management to note templates, making it a seamless process both for patients and the practice as well. Getting started with AdvancedMD EHR definitely has a learning curve. Because it is so customizable, there's a lot to learn. There's a lot of features that need to be understood by both the practice, clinical staff as well as the administrative staff. But once those learning curves are overcome, the software is fantastic. My advice for practices looking to get onto AdvancedMD EHR is to work with an administrator that has experience on the software. It will make the learning curve a little bit easier, and also give the practice an idea of how the system should be configured based on their needs. Also, making sure that you're taking full advantage of the training time and working with your trainer beforehand to make sure that you have a good roadmap of where you're starting, where you're ending, and what are the most important features for your practice.
