RSVPify vs Eventbrite: Which is a better fit?

Elizabeth: My name is Elizabeth. I am the CEO and founder of Dear Eliza, and I give RSVPify four out of five. In the past, for different events, I've used things like just direct email and paperless posts, but for this event, I wanted something that actually had better tracking and a more personalized touch. RSVPify had quite a few great reviews. I took a look at the website and everything seemed really clear to understand, but the biggest thing that really made me go with them was the QR code. I wanted to include a QR code on our printed invitations so that people could just scan it and find out the event details immediately. It was a pretty easy learning curve. When I joined, it maybe took a little bit of time to kind of figure out all the functionality because there are quite a few options, which is great. But for someone who just needed something really simple, I think that I was a little confused at first. But yeah, with some time and just reading a little bit more, I was able to figure it out. I think anyone that's looking to use RSVPify I would recommend going with probably a paid plan because you get the most functionality like the QR code, which is really why I chose that platform, and I think that that really stood out for my guests. A few of them mentioned it, how cool they thought having the QR code was. I would also say if you're looking for a elaborate invitation, probably not the best bet for you. The templates that they offer are pretty simple, but that's fine, and you are able to brand them. So it's kind of like what you're looking for. If you're looking for quick functionality and being able to track people and follow up with event reminders, great. But if you're looking for a beautiful invitation, it's probably not for you.

Jose: My name is Jose. I'm an inside salesman for Top Industrial. It's an industrial distributor company for industrial parts, such as conveyor, all that type of stuff, and I would rate Eventbrite five out of five. Besides Eventbrite, I think anything [inaudible 00:00:18] would be like StubHub, Ticketmaster, but it's not really comparable because that doesn't really let you search in the same way Eventbrite does. For some reason why I choose Eventbrite is because it makes it easier to plan out my weekends and dates because you can... Basically, anything that you're into, you can refine the results by it. If you want to see a concert, you can just put concerts. If you want to do something like comedy shows, you can look up comedy shows, and then it shows all the ones in your area, and then you can even expand the area. So, it just makes it really easy to plan ahead. I think it's really easy to get started. I mean, all you do is go to the website and then it's right there. You can just click on whatever type of event you're looking for, and then that's it. For anybody using Eventbrite, I would recommend making an account because it makes it easier to track all your events, and then it sends you notifications. Sometimes it sends you stuff based on what you've already bought. If they know that you've done a lot of comedy shows before, they'll make sure to update you on any comedy shows that are coming up in your area. That's cool.
