Visual Planning vs Findmyshift: Which is a better fit?

Overall, a great experience with Visual Planning. From implementation, to customization, training, support - it's all great and the platform helps us run much more efficiently than we were previously.

Limited functionality in automation and encountered glitches when deploying auto-email notifications.

While it is a good thing, so an outsider/average user it can be confusing or intimidating.

Initial setup and customization require a bit of time and effort which can be a hurdle for small businesses or teams with limited resources.

I like the flexibility, the level of customization, and the amazing customer service.

It isn't a 2 minute setup, which won't work too well for small businesses, as it front loads some of the costs.

A well designed rota system which allows for complex planning and ease of communication with staff. Excellent technical support, with queries quickly responded to in a friendly and helpful manner.

Find the holiday / sick recording confusing - i still have to use a separate spreadsheet for this.

Perfect for those who enjoy mobile capability and easy to switch from employee and facility view. So many components to choose from and to customize for your business needs.

Sometime, email notifications are confusing to read also the app becomes a little unclear with what day your shift is allocated.

The pricing is good and this makes it affordable to smaller companies. Staff can control their own leave and monitor from anywhere and allows a greater freedom.

It is in the back under pay, but I don't know how to clarify what they are on for that particular shift which in turn makes it not work for payroll.

It is the personalised, speedy and helpful customer support that I appreciate the best.

At a company where I have to get authorisation and wait to use a company card to pay for an extension, it becomes a hassle.
