Patriot Payroll vs TriNet Zenefits: Which is a better fit?

We were using actually an actual payroll service instead of using the software. It was too expensive. I basically did a search on internet and based on the description, based on the services, based on the cost, I add my own, thought the Patriot Payroll was the best. Starting with the Payroll was very easy and most of the stuff I was able to do at my own. Wherever I needed help, they had an excellent customer support. I will suggest anybody who would like to use a payroll service, especially small companies, use the Patriot Payroll.

As a small business we didn't have an HR platform and we were considering to use something to make our lives a little bit easier. Our payroll vendor Paychex had a pay Flex platform, but it just seems too cumbersome, too complicated. And after reviewing that we said there has to be something easier and we started looking around and that's when we found Zenefits. Our reason for choosing Zenefits was, one, it was extremely easy, very intuitive in terms of how everything flowed in for employee creation, handbook creation, everything seemed to be in place. And we're just plugging our information in as opposed to some of the other platforms where you had to create everything from scratch. As a small business, it was also important for us to have our costs low and Zenefits was great for us to be able to bring in just the four employees and not feel that we're paying for an enterprise class HR platform when we were just a small business. Onboarding with Zenefits was fairly easy, was fairly simple. Like I said earlier, that it was extremely intuitive. So I want to say 90% of that was just on our own. And when we did reach out to Zenefits, the staff and the help desk seemed to be fairly connected with what our small business needs were. So yeah, it was fairly intuitive for us to do it on our own. If you're a small business and you want to have the feel and management of enterprise businesses and you want to have a proper HR department and you want to have the knowledge base, the industry expertise that goes behind everything that a small business entrepreneurs don't have the bandwidth for, the Zenefits is a great platform.
