Nonprofit organizations, Government entities, Native Nations, Higher Ed, K-12 schools
Churches, denominational headquarters, faith-based nonprofits, para-church ministries.
It's a great improvement over QuickBooks and is a true accounting program that is prepared for non-profits. Our auditor is impressed and happy.
I think on the downside, you have to keep paying a fee annually. The software has to be updated annually.
That's where my company has it's greatest strength is that it is currently pushing for one solution and this solution is it.
We have missed several key features that they weren't able to reproduce from Abila.
The initial support has been excellent and easy to work with. Overall, it's been a marvelous experience.
Also the W-4 issued by the IRS says Single, Married or Married but filing at a higher Single rate. The box Single/head of household is confusing.
The product was nice it was easy to use and very interactive. I like the fact that the dashboard is very comprehensive.
There are no examples whatsoever. You need to know the system already in order to understand what the manuals mean to say.
My Business Administrator has had nothing but a great experience with data migration and setup and the reports it generates are fantastic. This software is clearly a revolution.
Takes way too much time to balance them. When there are known errors, we don't get told and struggle more because we are not aware there is an issue.
I am also pleased with its ability to allow you to tailor your screens to meet your needs and to increase speed of accessing important information.
No more restarting the server or troubleshooting connection problems, etc.
This software is exactly like V5 with a few awesome upgrades. We love the new report formats that can be ran as well as the charts and graphs that come with them.
This is a pain to keep addresses and other contact info updated in both systems.
Over all experience is very good. Great support, our area representative, is awesome.
I've had to spend a lot of time fixing things which is very frustrating.
Sam H.: Hello, my name is Sam. I am an IT Consultant. I'm a Systems Engineer, and my rating for ShelbyNext is a five. I absolutely love it. Check the link below for more reviews like this. We use ShelbyNext Financials to solve all of the difficult accounting needs that are required to work with a nonprofit organization like a church, and Shelby just made that really easy for us. As an IT consultant, working with Shelby was always fast and easy. We were always able to get to their support. It's available 24/7 online or on the phone. We love working with them and their whole team. One thing that I maybe thought could be work to improve about Shelby was sometimes on occasion, we'd just run into a little bit of performance issues, but that was always negligible by their support.
