Showpad has been great for our Sales team to get access to information quickly when out in the field. It has also been very helpful when following up with prospects.
As an administrator, I sometimes get annoyed with uploading content as it can be time-consuming, but this isn't really a big enough complaint to look elsewhere.
Appreciate the degree of automation which allows me to easily get greater visibility into assets that used to be so much harder to find.
Design is veeerrryyy limited. Im not able to change fonts or customize it to a brand standard.
The ease of use, the evolving functionality, the ability to have content at fingertips easily and of course the ability to analyze the use of the content used or not used.
Setting up channels, tags and users is quite some work and the userflow as an admin is one they really need to pay attention.
I really like the very clean interface and user experience of Showpad. That is why I used this software from beginning on, there is no more accessible solution on the market in my experience.
It works on PCs but it's not quite as well maximized for it. It's primarily designed to work on iOs systems.
SharePoint has enabled us to have a secure, trusted environment to store and share our files. The level of security measures you can put in place is great.
I have personally struggled searching for several of my own files after getting lost with the search results without any filters for people, file names etc.
This product is great for storing and sharing documents for the entire team. The documents are accessible anywhere which is nice.
My only complaint in using SharePoint is the frequency and speed of syncing, or rather lack there of. Often find syncing to be slow causing delays in remote project collaboration.
Easy to use user friendly interface with a good storage space structure. This is definitely one of the most secure and cost effective ways to work remotely and to ensure proper content management.
I dislike the administration part due to it's complexity. In large companies with lots of rules it is more difficult to organize the content in a proper manner.
I like SharePoint for the fact that it is a tool that seamlessly integrates and manages shared content, it is a secure place to store and organize information. I have access from any device.
I also really dislike that when I want to share a "forced copy" of a document to a client, so the client can just make his/her own copy, I am unable to do so.
Nikhil: Hi, my name is Nikhil. I work with the biggest pharmaceutical manufacturing company in Paris, and I use SharePoint on a daily basis. I would rate five. So, I have worked on Google products in the past, but SharePoint has a lot of advantages in terms of you can create your own site. So in my company, we have different departments and each department has its own site and all of the tools which they use on a daily basis, all of them are on SharePoint. So it's very accessible inside the company and each one can take advantage of SharePoint differently based on its needs. And yeah, that's it. SharePoint comes with the Microsoft suite and we have Teams and all of the other, OneDrive and many other, Yammer. So it's a complete suite and SharePoint is just one part of it, and that's why we use SharePoint. It gives very good functionality in terms of intercommunication between different softwares, and it works completely great with other sets of applications. So in my case, when I got the company email address, which was with Microsoft, so once you get that, you automatically get the SharePoint access as well. So SharePoint is a great tool. I believe it has a lot of functionalities where you can create micro-blogging sites and it works completely great with all the data storage and the other functionalities that it has. So the main thing about SharePoint is you can get started with SharePoint if you have a complete Microsoft suite and it works totally great with that. But apart from that, you need to think whether SharePoint is actually useful for you. Many of the companies that I have worked with in the past did not have SharePoint, but considering if your organization is big enough, you can totally have a SharePoint and it would be really great.
