Formstack Forms vs forms.app: Which is a better fit?

We needed a solution to help us consistently be able to capture our client and our customer inputs for their upcoming needs when they attended our facility, and we didn't have anything reliable. We also needed something that would allow us to capture credit card inputs and payments from consumers that would integrate with our customer management system. We chose Formstack Forms because it had an easy to use interface. It was simple. It was also something that multiple users on the corporate side on the internal end could manipulate. So we were able to have multiple users set up the Formstack account and customize it also for our individual locations and for our individual needs. And then the other area is that Formstack offered the secure credit card capture that we needed in order to get payments and process those in an easy to use way. We found it easy to get started with the Formstack Forms, and it's a what you see is what you get platform. So a couple of things that were fairly easy is as soon as I would enter Logic, for example, in the form, I was then able to go immediately and see a live preview and test the form. So that was very easy to use. The logic can get a little bit complicated at times and you have to be careful. So a lot of testing. I do like how Formstack allows me to look at that live form, test it out, and also share it with other folks who need to use it to make sure it meets their needs. The advice I'd give to anyone who's looking at using Formstack is to give it a preview, give it a test, maybe give it a 30-day test and see if it fits your needs. I do think it's easy to ramp up and use quickly. There are some features that aren't the best or may not completely meet your needs. However, I think that trade-off of what we pay, and so the value we get for the cost of the Formstack, it's worth it to use. So several times we've even looked at, "Ah, maybe we could find a better solution." However, the value that we're getting with Formstack and because it's easy to use and manipulate and we understand it, we've stayed with Formstack.

Before forms.app, I was using a lot of spreadsheets to gather data, to collect data and use that data for different projects and report. What we managed to do by using forms was change the way we collect data and make it a lot more intuitive and a lot more user friendly. We started using forms when we figured out what forms were, once we realized the potential for forms to gather data on our behalf. So we didn't have to open up spreadsheets and input little numbers inside. It almost automatically does that. We started exploring and experimenting with it. We got very creative in using it as a project management tool to capture data on current workload and reports as well as capture data for surveys that we do. It couldn't be much more easier to use forms.app. It's very intuitive. As soon as you log into it, it gives you the options and the options are easy to navigate. And once you get the hang of one or two, you can make yourself quite a complex form in little or no time. I highly recommend anybody to use forms.app, especially if you're in the position where your team or your company is using spreadsheets just to calculate data and input data, it's a lot more user friendly. And it actually inspires people to input their information as opposed to spreadsheets.
