ClassReach has been designed to fit both traditional and non traditional structured schools of all sizes. Started for K-12 private schools and has been adjusted to fit many higher education models.
Our teachers are all able to easily use Gradelink. Of great benefit is the Help option, which answers questions clearly and succinctly.
We frequently run into odd errors that change grades on transripts etc. I called multiple times this year.
Our teachers like the Lesson Planning section, and the ease of recording grades. Our administration likes the variety of reports that can be obtained, and ease of printing them.
The only complaint I've had with the software is with the representative we were originally assigned.
Very easy to learn and user friendly. Has wonderful features for teachers and communications.
Sometimes teachers complain about the percentages not averaging out right on their semester grading.
Our students love it because they are more focused on their academics. And most important, our teachers love it because it allows them customize their grading styles to fit their class.
I could not follow or nor quite under stand the prior support technician. I and my parents were extremely frustrated.
We love the basic set up of CR, and we appreciate the various options we’re given to customize what’s best for our families.
The server seems to be slow sometimes and the messaging can be frustrating (cannot forward; if you reply to the message and add a recipient, they can then see the entire thread).
ClassReach has awesome customer service and is always working to improve their product. We have been super happy with it compared to other systems we have used in the past.
There is no easy way to input agenda from week to week. There is no way to copy and paste to the agenda from a word document.
This has been a great blessing. We have been given excellent customer service, and will continue to use ClassReach as our school grows.
One example of a limitation is that their financials don't allow for credits to be posted to a family's account.
ClassReach is an amazing product and has been good for our school. Every time I have a question or run into an issue, they are quick to help me and get it fixed if need be.
It is slow to refresh, causing you to lose grades if you switch away from a page too quickly after entering them. Not many options for customized reports.
Lauren J.: Hi, my name is Lauren. I'm a high school teacher. I give Gradelink a five out of five star review. For more reviews like this, click below. I would say Gradelink solves a lot of problems as far as keeping up with the daily grades. Before, it was a grade book. Now, it automatically keeps track of all of that. Most importantly, I think it helps out with communication, is the biggest thing, is I can have direct communication with all of the parents of my students, even with the students themselves, because I have their email, I have their phone number, all the pertinent information that I need to be able to communicate with them to make sure that they're keeping tabs where they're at, we're all on the same page. That's definitely the biggest problem solver of Gradelink. The thing I like most about Gradelink would be, it takes a lot of time off of my hands that I don't have to worry with. I can take just a little bit of time at the beginning of the school year to set up and establish my grading preferences and my lesson plans, and throughout the school year, it saves me a lot of time later on, so I'm not constantly going back and having to put that in myself, because it's already laid out for me. If there was one thing I would change, it might be, sometimes with the assignments, from time to time, I feel that the computer tries to put in something different than what I'm trying to put in. It just takes an extra second to make sure I'm clicking the right thing myself. But that's the only minor thing.
