Simple, elegant, excellent User Interface; Easily Learned; Excellent ease of record entry, maintenance, and search; Internet accessibility; Marvelous Calendar system; Amazing Customer Support team.
There used to be a feature that dragged and dropped former intake notes forward so you didn't have to re-enter all information, and I miss that.
I also love how often TherapyNotes is updated and really appears to take feedback and suggestions from users to heart. I am super impressed with this company.
The billing area has countless flaws that my husband, a software developer on Mac and Windows for nearly 40 years, has called to their attention to no avail.
It was good, I think of it as a great bargain for an EHR that is very well priced to include all that it does.
Telehealth doesn’t work at all and it us irresponsible for them to offer this service.
This software has been pivotal to my success and efficiency as a therapist so I am happy to endorse it.
The billing notes and rejection of claims, are a bit unfriendly.
I am grateful that Doximity exists for it has been a saving grace during the pandemic for psychiatric care of my patients. It's easy to use and effective, private, and high in quality.
They were initially discounted as internet/wifi issues or operator error, but after months, they still persisted. Switching to a competing product removed almost all technical problems.
Doxy is easy to access and always delivers excellent audio and visual access. Reliability is critical for delivering good care via telehealth.
When there is a bad connection, it is often frustrating to me & my clients. I have almost lost clients due to this.
My experience is great, it is simple, reliable, dependable, my clients find it easy to use and have offered them a secure opportunity to continue to do therapeutic work.
I have had technical issues with the quality of the video session, frozen calls or poor image. Most of those are due to poor internet or poor connection in the part of the client.
Overall, I have been very satisfied with my meetings on doxy.me. I love that individuals do not have to make a specific account with the platform to join a meeting.
I am horrible at advertising so my schedule has been extremely slow so far, because no one who needs my services knows how to reach me or make an appointment.
Renee S.: My name is Renee. I am the owner of a counseling agency in St. Louis. We use TherapyNotes and I give them a five out of five rating. Prior to using TherapyNotes, we had a custom-made system set up for us, and it went down a lot, and because it was custom-made, it didn't exactly do everything and we hadn't thought of everything. So when we switched over and we looked at others, TherapyNotes had everything that we needed, it had the capabilities to provide different documentation, but it also allowed us to send out reminders to clients and customer service. That's probably the most important to me, is yes, we need the documents, but sometimes because we're not tech-savvy, we're counselors and psychologists, we need assistance with tech. So that was a big one for us. We chose TherapyNotes because, well, a couple of reasons, we're business owners, so cost was a factor and it is very reasonable for the services that's offered, but it also provided everything that's needed for the insurance companies. They require the intakes, they require the termination notes, and not just the treatment plans and the progress notes for daily purposes, but it allowed us also to add attachments. So if I have a little kiddo that's drawn something during therapy, I can take a note, use it from my phone directly, and input it in the chart, and it's simple. I don't have to go to a computer, scan it and put it in like that. So the ease of being able to be away from my office and do paperwork while I'm sitting at a doctor's appointment or anywhere, just during a break real quick, I can get some notes done. So the capabilities of being mobile, but also that I can add extra things that aren't necessarily a part of TherapyNotes. It was maybe an hour process. I would say less. It's been a bit, we've had TherapyNotes for a while, but it was a matter of signing up and then boom, it was just there. We had the link, we had the website, we had our ID, and it's easy to add providers and take away providers. It's easy to add our office manager who has access to everybody's charts, but each provider only has access to theirs, except I'm a supervisor, so I have access to those that I'm supervising also. It was a very easy process. Definitely user-friendly. If you are a business owner, certainly compare all your prices, compare your customer service, compare the services that it offers. We are in a busy world, so make sure that it's compatible with your phone so that you can do paperwork outside of your office, and also on different electronics. Some people have Chromebooks, I don't know, our younger people do, and iPads and laptops, so just make sure that it's compatible with all different kinds of things as well.
Kristin: Hi, my name is Kristin. I'm a clinical psychologist. I'm in solo private practice, so I work for myself, and I would rate Doxy a five out of five. So I was using Zoom before Doxy, and I felt like Zoom didn't have the same HIPAA security that I was looking for at the time, and so I preferred it over Zoom for that reason. Also, I felt like sending out multiple links as opposed to having one place where folks could go was helpful. I chose Doxy because of the HIPAA compliance. For a psychologist, it's really important that all of our sessions are secure and follow all of the HIPAA requirements, and so it was really easy to make sure that that was true with Doxy. And also, I really enjoyed how easy the sessions were for patients to join, as well as how steady the camera was, so it wasn't like I had to worry about how it looked on their end or my end. It was actually a really good picture quality and audio quality. Getting started with Doxy was really easy. I have the clinic set up where I could add my logo and some signage and also have a video for patients to use to relax in the waiting room, and so I felt like that was really easy and also, my patients found it really easy to log in. Once they were able to get the link, they were able to log in really easily, and I haven't had any issues with it. If you are considering Doxy, I would say get it, try it. I think it's awesome. I think going in and playing with all of the different things, like the whiteboard and other things like that just makes it easy to get a feel for it, but it's really easy to use. So if you're considering it, buy it.
