Teams that want to work smarter and more efficiently on a masterfully intuitive platform.
The user interface is beautiful, love dark mode. You are able to customize this completely to help you organize all areas of your life.
My biggest complaint is that it has no format for texts.
I love the clean, modern design aesthetic and usability of the software. I also love that despite this visual simplicity, there is a lot of power and flexibility under the hood.
My wife can sign into this, but then she is subject to all my stuff, which she does not need, and there is no way to turn off lists per device or hide various items.
The interface is so polished, so fast, and super intuitive. I've been in love with the latest version of Things since its release.
Using Things, or any GTD app really, requires constant maintenance. If I spend a couple days outside the app, I'll end up with lots of stuff on my "Today" list, which can feel overwhelming.
It is the best organizer money can buy on the Apple Platform, also it is actually worth it. This app is completely supplied with the necessary features and abilities by thoughtful developers.
The biggest down side is the lack of sharing. I cannot share a task with someone else or give task to particular people.
It gives our employees different options for what view works best for them for the tasks they're doing, the interface is beautiful, the customer service is great -- very responsive.
Everything is too much grey in grey, they have pain to read (and they hate the dark mode! It's depressing!) the font is too small.
We´re loving the free version and are seriously considering to upgrade. We are a relatively small team, but we´re growing and Clickup so far is looking great for our organization.
Replying via email sometimes not working so i need to use discord for communication.
ClickUp is a great tool for small and mid-sized marketing teams to keep all their projects organized. The best and most important feature we use is custom properties.
Sometime it is pushing unnecessary reminders which are so irritating.
I think the ease of use, i like the simplicity of having it served as a SaaS so i can login whenever i want and get collaboration done. There is also a function to make it work in Msft Teams - great.
When adding new tickets/cards to my boards, I often experienced delays. A couple of times some of the cards I've just added were lost.
Danny D.: Hi, my name is Danny, director of Website Development. I would rate Things a 4 out of 5 stars, and if you want more reviews like this, click the link below. Before Things, I was using, gosh, probably every task manager you can imagine. The most recent one was Todoist that I tried before Things and I just felt it somewhat more restrictive compared to Things. The tagging system and all the categorization felt very hierarchical and very linear, whereas Things tends to be a little bit more flexible. We also chose Things for the organization because of the pricing structure. There's just a one-time fee per device as opposed to a monthly payment structure with Todoist. So that was something that drew our organization to Things. Getting started with Things was very simple once it was purchased. When you open it up, there's this nice onboarding that they give you to teach you. It's slightly different from some of the other task management programs, but that's what drew us to it, was the flexibility. So they had a good onboarding that popped up on the screen and walked you through it, and that was super helpful for the initial setup and trying to get to use a task manager that was slightly different from others that we had used in the past. For anyone thinking about switching to Things, I would say just do it. The pricing structure, the onboarding, just the flexibility. It also integrates with calendars so you can link your calendars into your to-do list, which is almost magical to have that integration. I feel like having them separate was a challenge for us in the past and Things helped us to give this bigger picture look into the to-do list, as opposed to having it separate from the calendar. So that was something that drew us to it.
Cassandra: My name is Cassandra. I am a market content specialist at Bloom Growth, and our company is around 75 people big, and I would give ClickUp a five out of five. I've used a lot of different project management tools such as Asana, Trello, Monday, JIRA, and all of them pale in comparison. ClickUp really is superior and it's my project management tool of choice. The reasons that I choose ClickUp are kind of far and in between. I was one of the first adopters of ClickUp years ago and used it as a free user for a very long time and got so much value out of it. And as I changed jobs, I changed project management tools and nothing was as good as ClickUp. I would always tell my managers, "Hey, I know we're using this project management tool, but couldn't we maybe try ClickUp? You can try it for free, and then you'll fall in love and understand that you don't want to use the other tools." And the company that I'm with now, they did that and we're seeing great results because of it. The reason that I personally choose ClickUp not only for work, I use it in my personal life too. You can label things, you can categorize things. There's just so many different options to customize your project management. Gantt charts, lists, boards, different views, different colors. Just if you're a visual person and want to see your boards and lists and things to do in a different way, in a way that resonates with you, maybe your project is pink and all you're looking for is pink. You can do that with ClickUp and I really appreciate that. And the new tools, like the ClickUp Brain. Game changer, it helps my work so much, saves me time. And yeah, I think that's it. When I first started using ClickUp, it was essential that we managed all of our projects and I found it very simple to manage them through ClickUp. It was intuitive and easy to use. It was easy to customize things to what I needed to do. At the time, I was using spreadsheets to use data entry points, and all I would have to do is update the CSV and upload that to ClickUp. And all of my tasks magically got there and it just made my workflow so much easier. And as a manager at the time, it was really easy to teach to my incoming employees and just show them how simple it was to use. So from day one, it was just, "We use ClickUp, this is how you use it."There were hardly ever any questions. And if there were the support was there. I would hop into the chat and somebody would be with me really quickly, which kind of blew my mind because you don't usually get that. But ClickUp has been at the top of the game, in my opinion, since the beginning and since I started using it. If you're considering using ClickUp for your company, I'd say go ahead and do it. Don't wait. You'll be happy that you did. There are so many project management tools out there that will promise you productivity because of their project management platform. I've used a lot of them, and ClickUp is the one I always come back to. It's like it's home.
