Domo serves enterprise customers in all industries looking to manage their entire organization from a single platform.
Organizations looking for modern, AI-powered, analytics and business intelligence solutions.
Domo is an excellent tool for creating high quality dashboards. The documentation is excellent.
The problem is that there's a lot of variance for when the sources finish updating so sometimes it updates without getting all the data in and looks weird.
They have been great, and I had a great experience with their tools. Very intuitive and flexible.
All of our filters were hidden in a very dull drop down.
Great looking reporting and I love the ability I have to manage and analyze my big data sets.
Basic functionality was confusing. As an example, why did you need to go to another screen to sort columns.
The visualizations are amazing. This paired with the ability to see them on your phone in real time make this a really powerful tool to communicate with non data folk.
Domo can be very difficult to learn at first if you are not somewhat familiar with SQL.
Good strategy, good visibility and very strong product, happy to be a Microstrategy customer.
Dealing with SQL queries, and Microsoft Access was difficult, and probably result in an error. Even though the query was 100% correct.
This tool is very dependable and easy to customize, has great visualization and very user friendly interface. It is very good for reporting.
Other programs tend to crash or glitch when trying to do the same.
Definetiley a good competitor in this sector, I like the responsive design, mobility and ease of use they have enhanced in this versions I tested.
Also the way they manage the creation of dimensions and metrics. One thing to keep in mind is the manage of the historical changes, it can be a mess.
I have been using MicroStrategy for 5 years and have nothing but good to say about it. Very good reporting and data analytics platform, where I can obtain data from several sources and do my analysis.
Design is outdated a bit. Hard for end user to learn how to make ad-hoc reports for themselves.
Speaker 1: Hi, my name is Jared. I'm a business development specialist working with Solarium. I'd like to give Domo a rating of three out of five. Prior to using Domo, we were using a service called Pipedrive for our CRM. We wanted to just find something a little bit more dynamic that really was able to work with us and be able to use across platform for all the different agents that worked in our company. We decided to go with Domo just 'cause we wanted to try something that seemed like it was very innovative and new. Domo seemed to be a fresh app out there or a fresh platform out there that really would be able to meet all of our needs and also be pretty similar to what we were using before, but give us a lot more advanced features. Transitioning to Domo was pretty seamless. Our team was able to easily figure out the platform, figure out all the settings and whatnot so we could customize it to our needs. So really the rollout was smooth, nothing crazy, and it was able to get up and running as soon as possible. As far as advice for people who are looking to transition to Domo, I definitely would say to make sure that you have your full IT team and also your project management operations team collaborating on that to make sure that they're all fully understanding what the platform can do for them and how they can best utilize it to help your business grow and advance.
Curt: Hi. My name's Curt. I'm the CEO of Proclamate, a boutique data and analytics firm working with small businesses. I give MicroStrategy a three out a five. Our clients use MicroStrategy on a regular basis as an enterprise product, especially with Pixel Perfect type reporting. They also use it for online reporting, but we're most happy with the Pixel reporting. What I love about MicroStrategy is how much control you have over the look, feel and design of the product. You can move anything anywhere, place it exactly like you want. The printability of the tool is just amazing and it's really great for clients who still need printed reports. In terms of what I don't like about MicroStrategy, the learning curve, especially for newer business intelligence analysts, it takes a while to get up and going in juxtaposition to some of their competitors. You have the keys to the kingdom, which is great, and also it can be somewhat cumbersome in comparison to some of these out of the box BI tools.
Prioritize real-user-identified key features according to your needs to find your best fit.
