Lucanet vs Poindexter: Which is a better fit?

Lucanet is an excellent tool for financial reporting requirements. Its chart of accounts, general ledgers, budget, forecast and variance analysis capabilities are very good.

The operation is not similar to other software/difficult to learn. Managing Tasks i.e. missing to restart a group together.

I like the wide range of service providers that can help with the implementation and the consulting team at Lucanet was very helpful.

The drilldown very often shows too many accounting transactions which makes analysis sometimes difficult.

Great solution for Middle Market companies looking for a solution with high agility, performance, ease of use and low TCO.

The implementation for consolidation was not easy and you need to input Information twice, making everything more difficult.

Lucanet is very easy to understand. The performance and interaction with the existing accounting programm is very good.

Problems with the historic Data, leading to unlear entries.

That knowledge paired with the help of this software can probably help you sift out a good chunk of the crumby ideas.

Include basic dev costs and hosting and then basic revenue streams. 5 minutes and they get a number saying if they are crazy or not.

I really liked the sample project they provide to help me understand. Also the help and explanations for each of the fields was invaluable.

Not sure if this could scale to enterprise but that might not be their target audience.

I especially like the ease of use for myself but also colleages for which I create budgets for with Poindexter.

I've started a few companies, and I wish I found this earlier. I loved how quickly I was able to test the assumptions of my business plan, and how simple it was to run through different scenarios.
