Perhaps the worst thing about Mimecast is that everytime you release, block or permit an email, it opens a web window telling you what you just did. What is the point of that.
The Mimecast Secure Email Gateway has provided us with trust and reliability when looking for a better way to manage our critical information in a more secure way.
Occassionally, inbound emails with attachments from gmail accounts are permanently rejected with no way to retrieve which I find someone annoying.
Mimecast is a great product overall and just works as expected. Because it is a SaaS offering, setup and config is quick and easy and the overall reliability has been everything we expected it to be.
MimeCast often confuses emails from the same person but different companies (ie, I have two different work emails) and identifies them as phishing, and blocks them from being sent.
Overall Mimecast has been a good solution with decent support. Our largest issue is the huge cost increase year over year that has us looking for other solutions.
In using this software, we've seen the tool block more emails that it did not need to and we've had to take that extra step to get the email back each time.
We have had a very positive experience with NeoCertified. The customer service has been very user friendly and helpful.
Another negative is that in Outlook when you want to send a reply securely, the "Send NeoCertified" button is missing unless you "Pop Out" the email, which is not initially intuitive.
Our clients find it easy to use as well when sending their documentation. For a small company this is a great solution for secure emails at a good cost.
A bit awkward to use; particularly when I am attaching documents in it (which has often been why I needed to use it).
The software has many great features for a very affordable price. I have confidence that the communications are secure.
Occasionally, my emails to others will end up in their Spam folder, but honestly I don't think that's NeoCertified's fault at all.
NeoCertified is an easy to use, affordable product for a small business like mine. It allows me to send secure emails to our clients and vendors to protect confidential information.

The business problems we're solving with Mimecast Email Security is just being able to trust emails that come in from basically anywhere. So within those emails, the attachments, the files that are included, the links in the email, being able to trust the sender, or just trying to eliminate any copycatters that are out there. We all get so much spam from unknown sources across the internet, that we want to make sure that that's all filtered out beforehand. And that was something that my organization considered when bringing on Mimecast Email Security to our company. What I like most about Mimecast is its ability just to track overall by email, filtering out what is junk and what isn't, and then just knowing that it goes through and then truly evaluates each component of an email to make sure that what we're getting is exactly what we should be getting, and it's not anything that is spam or is just unwarranted for the business. So just having that as an additional layer of security, knowing that we can, again, eliminate all that junk that's out there, is something that's huge for our business. The one thing I would change about Mimecast, and this is something that was recently changed maybe about six months ago, was just the overall UI and look and feel to the actual dashboard and experience. That can be something that is still a little bit clunky and could be updated to make it a little bit more friendly to use. It does take some time to get used to it and just using the overall Mimecast addition to our ESP's, but definitely encouraged adding it in and making sure that its ability to use it. Yes, it takes a while, but once you get it down and you're able to go into the UI and use it, it's a huge value add to your business.
