Used it for my payroll and HR matters and it is really perfected to greatness. Paychex Flex is the best and that why I would recommend it to anyone who yearning for greater success.
It’s hard to pick what was the worst. I would say the customer service was certainly the worst.
Overall, I love using this software. It has been great and I recommend it to anyone looking to switch.
Also, the fact that Paychex does not integrate with 3rd party aggregators such as Quicken is terrible. I have to manually enter my 401k transactions and it is a painful process.
Very robust payroll tool that is reliable for our business. Integrates with Benetrac to help us manage our employee benefits as well.
There is not a way to track and pay independent contractors on the exact version I use. Less obvious but frustrating is the required date format.
Overall I am very happy with my experience with Paychex Flex this far. The ease of use is amazing, making the tradition from our old software easy.
My only complaint with Paychex Flex is that the retirement component is still transitioning over from Classic and it is taking a long time.
Beyond that the ease of use for both the company and the candidate, the quick turnaround, and the simplicity in reporting make the product fantastic.
In fact, she left out that I could either pay a $300 fee and then they collect from candidates or I get billed and pay monthly for candidates. I didn’t know until I received the first invoice.
My overall experience has been fantastic. Everything has been streamlined and become so much more efficient, just the sheer hours saved over the course of the year is far worth the investment.
The reports had essentially no "personal" flavor to them.
The employees are pleasant and helpful. We have gotten all our issues resolved that we had and you all really listen to us.
When we were discussing the products with the sales person they did not mention that some of the states require separate fees to do criminal checks.
This program is super easy to use and can be accessed anywhere. It's very customizable and has great, useful features.
The delay time waiting for other counties who are still using paper files.
Marie: My name is Marie and I'm a sales tax manager for a company, a retail company that has around 50 employees and I give Paychex Flex five stars. They're awesome. So previously we were using ADP TotalSource, and their reporting features were pretty terrible. You actually couldn't go back in and recreate reports. So if I needed a report, I had to make sure that I got it within a specific time period, and I could not go back. With Paychex Flex, you can go out any time, anytime during the year, reprint any reports, W-2's, payroll detail, payroll summary. So that's why we changed. So we started using Paychex Flex because I had previously used it in other jobs for about 20 years, and they had always been super consistent, the best customer service that I'd ever experienced. Anything you needed, they would get it done immediately. They were very responsive. And so that was one of the main reasons. And again, with ADP, customer service was just not there. So that was probably the main reason that we switched over. Yeah. So moving over to Paychex Flex was very easy. We had a team of people in different departments that helped us move all the data over, and we have a payroll person, an HR person, training people, just someone in every department to help us out. So when we have questions, we know who to contact. And they have been very, very helpful. But it was a very easy transition, no issues at all. For anyone that would be thinking about moving to Paychex Flex, I would say do not hesitate, especially if you're with another payroll company that is not meeting your needs. Paychex Flex is very flexible. They have HR, they have payroll, they have timesheets, just so many different options, 401(k) options, and everything is very user-friendly. You just go right in and if you do happen to have any issues, you always have your point of contact. You have a main person and then an umbrella underneath them of people that can help you out. So I love it. I love it. And they have a lot of different resources as well. So I would say don't hesitate and move Paychex Flex.
Stephanie B.: Hi, I'm Stephanie. I'm an owner in the hospitality industry and I give GoodHire of four out of five stars. So I was unsure about GoodHire initially, but after speaking with the rep and they walked me through how the software would benefit my company, I decided to go ahead and use their platform. I chose GoodHire for two reasons. First, it's convenient for both me and the independent contractors that I hire. We simply send the information to GoodHire and GoodHire reaches out to the independent contractors and there's usually a one day turnaround time for the product that we need and also it's volume pricing. I was able to talk with the rep and negotiate a lower price per product, based on a forecast that amount of independent contractors that I thought I would have. It was very easy to onboard and integrate GoodHire into my company because all I have to do is provide them with the information about the independent contractor and GoodHire does the rest of the work. If you're considering GoodHire, I would recommend that you talk with your rep about the billing and pricing specifically. The rep I spoke with was great, but she left out a crucial piece of information. She did not explain the billing to me at all and here are the two pay structures. So, you can either allow GoodHire to invoice you monthly for whatever products you have used, or you can pay them $300 or some other fee, and GoodHire will then charge for the products that are used by your clients or customers.
