Engineers, scientists, researchers, and academics utilizing MATLAB and COMSOL Multiphysics for modeling and simulation.
Stata is a very good statistical software with full of advanced statistical methods and its use is easy because it is menu driven and it has many good accompany documents.
If you do not put it the right prompt in the codes you will produce a lot of errors coming up in your log and it can be very frustrating.
I have been using Stata for Panel data. It works like a charm, very easy to remember the code, and they have an amazing set of literature.
Second its too complicated due to its character.A small character error can leads towards baised results (due to human error).
Since, I have different gadgets; it is a great addition that it can be used with my Mac and my Windows. The price is pretty affordable if you are looking for an easy to use analytical system.
This software is costly, that is, if you are not given access by a university or research company, which provides difficulty in accessibility.
The online support for Stata in addition to the ability to search for help quickly is what I like most. It is a very intuitive approach.
Does not work well with large data sets and often crashes.
One of the superb tools i have come across for trigonometric functions visualization.
Compatibility issues may exist between different versions of MATLAB and COMSOL, which can lead to errors and problems when running simulations.
I was most impressed with the data visualization feature.
The problem that i have is this product take alot of space.
I like livelink for matlab because it's easy to use.
I then ran the simulation using LiveLink for MATLAB to analyse the results in real time and also modified the model parameters to test different conditions and see how this affected the results.
Overall I would say that I am satisfied with this technology.
Also the process of connecting Matlab to COMSOL server can be troublesome as it is required to be able to use LiveLink.
