Charm is a user friendly, patient friendly, online EMR system. It has many different features that help to automate many tedious tasks and help take the burden off of smaller clinics/teams.
This is a misleading question. My experience of the software.
I had worked with hospital-based EHR systems in the past, and I am delighted to report that ChARM EHR has been far more reliable than the previous hospital-systems I used.
WE ARE STILL HAVING ISSUES WITH BILLING AND CAN'T GET ANYONE FROM THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE TO RESPOND. THEY CHARGED US $3000 TO TRANSFER PATIENT DATA FROM OUR OLD SYSTEM.
Overall, I am very pleased and feel excited to start to use even more features that I am using right now. I would recommend Charm to anyone starting in private practice in psychiatry.
There is no orders tab, no diagnostic testing tab. Everything that is a task, can be completed, but not deferred or deleted if not performed.
We love a lot about this software and how it has optimized our buisness- the calendar is beautiful and the features are very thoughtful.
I really can't think of anything that we disliked.
It can be customized to your liking to fit your practice and integrates with so many programs to seamlessly create a reliable file.
Patients are unable to fill out paperwork with their phone or ipad or any non computer/ laptop devices. We lost quite some patients who ran out of patience due to the intake forms.
The thing that I like most about Genesis is that it is extremely user friendly. It has great videos that teach you virtually every aspect of the system.
There is simply too much to know and the training is poor. The initial start up training is woefully inadequate leaving you to learn everything on your own.
The support representatives are helpful and friendly. The integrated merchants are great too.
This is the worst EMR I've had the displeasure of ever being exposed to.
We have had GREAT support, GREAT training, whenever we need help Genesis is right there to help us immediately.
Sometimes it is hard to keep track of and fix errors in patient accounts, I wish there was a way to see what user scheduled or cancelled an appointment.
Matthew: Hi. My name is Matthew. I'm a pediatrician, and I give ChARM EHR a rating of five. We've looked at a number of different EHRs in our quest for a sophisticated but easy-to-use program. We were using Practice Fusion, but after the cost got prohibitive and the software not really that functional, we started looking for some other avenues. We looked at Kareo, we looked at AdvancedMD, and we looked at Amazing Charts. Those were the three big ones that we looked at. All of them were very good, but they were either cost-prohibitive or too complex and not easy to use via the scheduler or to be putting in notes. ChARM EHR was one of the ones that we looked at, and it really fit the bill perfectly. It's, was easily customizable, and the cost, because we have a small practice, was very low. It did what we had to do. It was very user-friendly. The scheduler was easy to use. Plus, it gave me an app on my phone to look at my schedule on a daily basis. Couldn't ask for any more than that. ChARM was very easy to implement in the office since it was cloud-based. We were able to input most of the data very, very easily since we have a small practice, but the user interface was very user-friendly. It didn't require a lot of time, and because it was cloud-based, it could be done from various locations, both from my office and from my receptionist's home if we had to. So the onboarding and the implementation was very, very quick and easy. We found ChARM EHR to be a good fit for our practice, because it was relatively small, and the cost was minimum. However, if your practice is a large practice, the cost may get prohibitive. The ChARM EHR program is very easily user-friendly. It's customizable, and it is pinpointed for any particular practice, whether it be pediatrics, family medicine, general medicine. The varied templates that are there are easily customizable. Their software support is excellent. They get back to you very quickly. So I really recommend it highly for anyone that has a practice that is relatively small, that needs a user-friendly program, and it's easily customizable.
Shanna: Hi, my name is Shanna, I am a chiropractic assistant, we are a small town chiropractic office, and as of right now, Genesis, we give it a five out of five rating. Before Genesis, we had the ChiroTouch cloud system. The reason why we switched was the lack of assistance we got with needing help with our help tickets, billing didn't seem to go through smoothly ever, and our patients didn't like the messaging system. We chose Genesis because they offer a self-service system or a full-service system. We chose to go with the full-service system because now we get a whole team that helps with our billing and it makes everyday flow go a lot better. Our patients really appreciate having an updated balance, and it makes online check-in a lot easier. We are also able to use an app, and patients love the forms that they get online before they come in. Getting started with Genesis was really easy. They make sure to do a lot of check-in calls, they also set up a lot of meetings to make sure everything is going smoothly, and they're available anytime we need anything. For anybody looking into Genesis for their own practice, we would definitely recommend it. Like I said, we were really intrigued with the full-service system for our billing, especially if you're a small office and one person just isn't enough anymore. And the fact that we can be on any device anywhere, setting a patient up at a baseball game or at the mall has been really convenient, being able to grow our practice anywhere we are.
