TrackSmart Attendance vs Deputy: Which is a better fit?

We appreciate the ease of use and the ability for employees to send attendance requests seamlessly.

We pay bi-monthly so this has messed up some hourly workers - for example if an employee takes 5 days off and it starts on the 14th and ends on the 19th - all of the time off will go onto the 14th.

I am very pleased with TrackSmart and the ability to record all the necessary areas for my 12 employees. The price is very reasonable and I will continue to be a customer.

Glitchy being it'll get held up when I try to open something. And, more recently, I'll use the drop down and it flashes and I have to go off the page and come back on before it'll work normally.

It is a very useful follow-up resource in health care services, which simplifies the processes and is very useful in its management from my cell phone and computer.

We had an issue with an upgrade that messed up our PTO totals.

It gives our staff an appreciation for being responsible for monitoring their leave time. It is very easy to use, and I would highly recommend it for any small business.

Lack of custom reports and Lack of ability of supervisors being able to approve timesheets on their phones.

On top of this it gives great information on both individual, location and total staff costs, which is very useful when planning for the future.

Sometimes lags in the data makes it difficult to clock time accurately. Also transferring incident reports could be made easier.

Deputy has been the best in delivering their promises. Their interface is amazing and simple to use.

I truly get frustrated when it automatically adds your 30 min break if you did not take one.

It just has made the scheduling of staff and time sheet records so quick and easy. The team continuous improvements of the package is fantastic, already making an awesome package better.

Intergrating other financial applications was difficult.

This is just great software to manage staff scheduling it's just so easy. It has some great reports for costings too.

You have to pay a monthly fee for yourself as an admin user even if you don't input any of your shift info into Deputy and there is also a minimum spend which they only mention in the small print.
