It helps a lot when there are many deadlines at the same time. I can quickly see what is done, what is overdue and who is working on what. Pros Recurring tasks are very useful for things like month end checklists, reconciliations and regular reporting. We also use dashboards to get a quick view of overdue items instead of going through each task one by one. Comments inside the task help as well because the discussion stays within one place Cons There are so many features that it can feel a bit confusing at first. We tried some automations but didnt really need anything advanced. Pricing can also get a bit expensive when more users are added. It kept the whole project on track without extra meetings. Pros ClickUp's task hierarchy and custom views are a win for our sprint planning, and the built-in time-tracking keeps the whole team honest about hours. The integration with Slack means we get instant updates, so nobody misses a deadline. But the UI can feel a bit cluttered at times. Cons The learning curve for custom automations still feels a bit steep, and the documentation could be clearer. It took a bit to figure out the advanced task dependencies, but overall it's manageable. A minor annoyance is the occasional lag when loading large boards. It integrates with PageProof well, and I was able to create custom columns to track our projects' progress in PageProof right in our ClickUp dashboard. Pros ClickUp has helped us increase collaborative efforts by providing transparency so we can see what other teams are working on. It is easy to use and also allows us to track projects and identify bottlenecks so we can hold people accountable. We were able to automate a lot of functions which also helps with keeping us all on track and accountable. The customer support has been good. And you can also request new features and if enough other users agree with your suggestion, they may be implemented. We also like that ClickUp integrates with our proofing software. Cons We had an expert help us with the initial set up and creating automations. It difficult to figure out how to set up automations if you don't do it regularly.
