Ease of use, ease of setup, setup is organized and clear, love that it notifies my staff when I publish a schedule and is integrated with phone platforms/has an app.
It is ridiculously glitchy. I don't know how many schedules have been messed up because it will incorrectly mark blocked out days after refreshing which causes confusion and more work later on.
The ease of setting up different schedules is great and all my employees were able to quickly set up their profiles and were able to use the app with ease.
You can't use OpenSimSim on your phone, which is really too bad.
Overall it has been a good experience, I say that because my best friend is a software engineer and I know it takes time to work out the bugs in any application or program.
The thing that I struggle with the most with the app is adjusting my schedule for multiple days.
The transition over to Opensimsim was seamless. The best part has been watching the platform evolve and improve.
Inputting availabilities are a pain has you can only select day by day and I would prefer having a my availability weekly spread to check I have inputted the information correctly.

You have to pay for unused users portion- e.g you have only 5 users but you still have to pay for 10 users. It is misleading that they list a price per user.

Sometimes on the android app its signs you out or completely fails to load. Re-opening the app usually fixes it but it can be frusterating.

Time, wage, how much I'm looking at for wages, for the employee, for the week, the complete breakdown that I need is why I chose When I Work over the other applications. Just enter my information for my company, enter the information for my employees, they even double check and do follow up calls just to make sure everything gets correct. So I really, really had an easy time getting started with that. Anyone else using When I Work I feel like applications such as this one are for any business, but they would be more helpful for small businesses like myself. Because depending on your number of employees, that right there is what you need. And again, they have great resources. They even have helpful videos. Any and everything to help you with learning to schedule, manage employees in your company, When I Work has it for you.
