Retail florists wanting technology that helps them save time and money (with features like route optimization & mobile delivery app) while increasing sales and profits.
Rain specializes in niche retail markets including Music, Ski, Surf, Dive, Toy, Apparel, Quilt, Sewing, and Craft stores. It simplifies business operations and helps increase total sales.
The folks at FloristWare are responsive to the changing retail landscape and offer great added benefits to their clients like webinars.
Can be glitchy at times, long orders such as wedding have been lost without the ability to get the information back.
The vendor is superb - friendly, responsive and dedicated to the support of their customers. Floristware is a partner in my business, not just a tool.
Standing orders we have to add each one in individually instead of hitting a button and it prints out every week till you cancel it.
As a Busy Floral Shop, Floristware helps keep our orders on track. We love the software, ease of use and all the bells and whistles.
I have an old computer with a small hard drive. The backups and such take up a lot of room.
When you fully understand its power, you will be glad for the way it is built. Take advantage of Floristware's offer to let you demo it free of charge for 30 days.
Multi screen order entry makes order taking difficult at times. Sales reports are sometimes lacking in terms of filtering capabilities.
In the beginning support was good and they really seem to care about helping your business grow. Now they want to add stuff that I don't need and keep raising the price.
We are Canadian site, and the cashing in procedure does not allow us to use our coins, and therefore we don’t use the cash in/cash out component. That is my only complaint.
Customer service has always been responsive and helpful to resolve any difficulties promptly. The value for the cost is excellent.
The website builder is so bad that I am looking for another alternative but the initial setup fee was so high it really does sting to switch to another provider (maybe that was the point).
Overall, the experience has been very good. Implementation was easy and the support was excellent.
We were disappointed it was not available when we switched to Rain, since we used that feature daily with AIMsi.
M very happy overall and customer service/support are very good - the tech folks are knowledgeable, patient and kind.
It was a rough year and a half trying to operate a business with that many mistakes from their side.
Carolyn I.: Hi, my name is Carolyn. I'm the president of a music school. I'd like to give Rain POS a five out of five. For more reviews like this, click below. Before using Rain POS, I used QuickBooks POS, which we used for about six or seven years. I found that it took too much memory and it was syncing with our QuickBooks Database and it got way too expensive. I chose Rain POS because they were a startup company at the time, and they were marketing a software that both provided for POS, on a remote for a remote customer, as well as in-person customer, as well as a website. I liked that they had that dual interface for remote customers and in-person. But what I came to find out was that being able to control our own website in a very user-friendly way was one of the biggest assets for us. Getting onboarded with Rain POS wasn't completely easy. I think it took some time to get used to, but once we started working on it and getting used to the system and calling the customer support many, many times, I think we got into a place where we were all comfortable using the system. So it wasn't easy, but it paid off. In the end, we were able to really benefit from the system. I would tell someone to give Rain a try. Keep your old software going in case it doesn't work, but I think you'll find it to be a very good option. So give it a try.
