Hootsuite helps brands manage social media better, from the smallest businesses to the largest enterprises across CPG, finance, healthcare, tech, higher-ed, and government services.
Social media management solution for marketers and businesses with features such as content previews, Giphy integration, drag and drop, posts scheduling, feedbacks reviewing and more.
I have been using Hootsuite daily for over 2 years and I am quite happy with it. It is definitely useful if you have several social media accounts and want to be active on all of them simultaneously.
Poor Customer Service and no credit issued when internally know issues are brought to attention. Meaning they knew about their software not working yet did nothing to notify their customer base.
It's got a free version with good functionality, the paid version offers some nice upgrades, and it does have Instagram integration. You can save posts as drafts to get around the scheduling limit.
Absolutely ridiculous!!!! As a small business owner every penny counts and this practice is unacceptable.
Such a easy and helpful tool for scheduling social media for an organization. I do not know how I lived without it before but I am very happy that I have it now.
It would be unfair to criticize such a software that provides planned and organized use.
What I love most about this software is its ability to track Twitter conversations. In fact, one of the most helpful aspects of this software is using it for Twitter and Twitter Chats.
Additionally at least once or twice the scheduled content has failed to post, and it is difficult to track these.
It was easy for me to use it, I loved the fact that the dashboard is visible and beautiful.
For me, the downside is the lack of analytics which I have had with other publishing softwares, without additional cost. The price is similar, but with less features.
It's easy to set up, easy to use, but my favorite feature of Planable is how easy it is for my clients to approve posts. And I have to say that I also love how well the phone app works.
Sometimes the schedule button lags, and it's annoying. I have to click it multiple times to no effect.
Easily being able to manage all my social accounts from one platform has been super beneficial. Love the ease of planning.
Schedule for Instagram is an issue. The need to download Instagram and Planable on your phone and then continue to work from the mobile...it is really a pain.
This is a great plattform, it is very easy to use it, you can choose wichever view its better for you to get organized. It is also easy for your colleagues and clients to use it.
I also have noticed that when I try to bulk post content it's hard to customize it based on each account.
Rick K.: Hi, I'm Rick, the owner of a small business. We're under 10 people, and I give Hootsuite a five out of five. Previously, we were just using Twitter, and that just didn't give us the depth of scheduling and the ability to crosspost to multiple platforms. Hootsuite allowed us to do all the crossposting we wanted, and with our small business, we didn't even need to pay for Hootsuite. I think we got three separate accounts for free, like three seats to post to three different social media platforms for free, and we didn't need more than that so price was a factor. Getting started with Hootsuite was really simple. It was really just a matter of still having to create the content for social media. Hootsuite made it so we could just post it into Hootsuite, then schedule it, and it was ready to post. I mean, as soon as that date and time came around, Hootsuite auto posted it for us, which was great. I would say just jump in with Hootsuite. It has been the best software that we've used to help us with our social media in terms of posting and scheduling so that we didn't have to take time every single day and remember to post. We just scheduled a week, sometimes even a month in advance.
Fraser N.: Hi, I'm Fraser. I'm the founder of a marketing agency. I'm going to give Planable five. And for more reviews like this, please click below. I looked at a number of other software products before deciding on Planable, especially Hootsuite. But I found out that their increasing restrictions on that software meant that it didn't really do the job I needed it for, whereas Planable was much more flexible and enabled me to carry out the whole range of social tasks in one app. I chose Planable because it was really easy to set up and schedule all the posts across the different social networks in one go, and also had a good integration with Instagram, which made it nice and easy to actually post and then just confirm on the app, which made it a breeze to use. It was easy getting started with Planable. It was all very intuitive, and it all made sense. I mean, with every software, there's a small learning curve, but certainly, Planable was one of the easier ones to get moving with when it comes to social posting and scheduling software. If you're considering using Planable, I'd say go for it. It's a really good piece of software. As I said, it's simple to get started with, the onboarding is easy, and crucially, it's something that's updated regularly. It's been around for a while, so it's got that longevity. So you know that the founders are not going to stop supporting in a few months' time, which is something I find really annoying. So yeah, you've got that future-proofing which has been apparent in Planable for some time. So yeah, definitely go for it and give it a shot. It's a nice, easy tool to use.
