My overall experience with M-Files is outstanding and I like more with their easy integration with other systems and flexibility in deployment.
Data Management System with Really Bad User Interface.
This application helps in all these functions and much more by its high quality features that are superb easy to handle as well.
It's not a user friendly program, there is no drag and drop option (currently) and it almost impossible to work with this software in a way that we work with windows.
Easy user intuitive interface that allows for dynamic and complex workflow processes. The ease of the install and how fast we were up and using it was amazing.
Typical for some IT-solutions: "almost anything can be done with M-Files. Takes away focus of what problem exactly is solved with M-files.
It will be the best money you spend and will save you the cost is saved searching in weeks.
Drop your files into the M-files and edit/download from where you are.
How secure our files are. Both security and dynamic version management are superb features.
3 or 4 times each year we need to update the app on our computers and its always a little scary and we all hate doing it.
We've used them for 10+ years and haven't had many complaints with them at all. The best thing about it is they continually improve and produce better and better Intergrations with microsoft.
Sometimes the tag labeling can be confusing and if something is mislabeled it can be hard to track the document down.
Fantastic for the Legal Sector for DMS, HYPER secure and great customer service on issues.
We received a warning about our space utilization shortly after started using their product.
It is a pretty straightforward and easy-to-use offering. Because of this, it has been good to work with and easy to get others to get up to speed with it.
We have about 40 users and imported documents from another document management service. It was much much slower to search and the way it searches was really bad.
Joe M.: My name's Joe. I'm a principal engineer. I'd give M-Files a 5 out of 5. And for more reviews like this, click down below. Before M-Files we used a PDM system. With switching to M-files, we considered some other software. We looked at using SOLIDWORKS and their PDM system as well as just using Windows. We selected M-Files because we really liked the way you could input metadata and use that to organize all of your files and search in a very powerful way for very detailed things within a document. We came from a more complicated system before using M-Files, so switching over to it was really nice and a blessing. It made it really easy to transition to M-Files. If you're thinking about getting into M-Files, I would really take a look at all the powerful tools that come along with inputting the metadata for each document into M-Files. It really opens up a lot of capability, especially when trying to find a very old document that you don't remember a whole lot about.
Kayleigh H.: Hi, my name is Kayleigh. I'm a firm administrator at Poulus Ensom Smith LLP in Vancouver, BC. We are a boutique commercial litigation firm, and we would give NetDocuments a four out of five stars. We use NetDocuments to organize our case files, and we also have it integrated with our accounting software, which is Soluno, and our Outlook system. I like that NetDocuments is easy to use, easy to train on, and it feels a lot more organized and simple for people to learn on and keep their practice working properly. The only thing that we don't love about NetDocuments is, we find the file transfer options pretty limited compared to other software, but ultimately, it isn't make-or-break for us.
Prioritize real-user-identified key features according to your needs to find your best fit.
