Every time you sort your loads and yo go into a random load and then you go back to all the loads, your sorting preference is lost and you have to do it again.

Speaker 1: Hi. My name is Jenn. I am the VP of operations at Hollywood Logistics. We have approximately 40 to 50 team members, and my rating for AscendTMS is four stars. The previous TMS system that we had for our company, there was a few reasons why it just did not work for us. Number one, the pricing. When you have a large sales team, price obviously becomes a factor, so that was one reason. The second reason, and probably even more important, was the fact that it was a hard learning curve to utilize it. We used other TMS systems in the past, and one of the things that AscendTMS has that the previous one that we had did not have was the ease of functionality. It was very easy to get our sales team to hop on there, check out all their features. It was quick, it was easy. They even have a tutorial training that they offer every week, and that's what we do. We send our salespeople to that meeting every week. Why? Because they made the system, so why not learn from the people who made the system? So with that, that's why we're with AscendTMS. The ease of use for the AscendTMS was relatively easy I would say, especially since they do have a free option where you're able to play around with the functions, the features, get acclimated with the software, and then after that, you're able to call them. They have a great support system, extremely easy, extremely direct, and it works for us. My main recommendation when using AscendTMS would be this - have two different logins, especially if you have a sales team. The first login is going to be for your operations and your management, and then the second login will be for your sales team. Why? Because there's a function on there where you can turn off some of the things that you wouldn't want your sales team to see, but it's just easier to keep it separated.
