I love the flexibility of this software. The ability to get the very much needed data from activities associated with the volunteer work is very important via the reporting tool.
If I thought the software was missing an option or tool, it was usually user error.
The team at customer support are nothing short of amazing - personable, friendly help that solves any issue quickly.
The reporting and analytics features are quite inadequate.
I love the ease of use, the great features - like password protection and the communication tools.
On the volunteer/user end it can be a little unclear on how to use.

Would need spanish version. Changes to the platform or simply adding new features many times scare off users and create concerns of losing data and the need for retraining.

The only way to get a human being online is to threaten cancelling the contract. Then they only spend 30 minutes with training and then send you to a list of videos, most of which are out-of-date.

The screens for administrators-- letters are to small, information looks too congested/ confusing.
Excellent features are: creating data bases, reports, attenace lists,publishing opportunities and ability to generate information for social media. Volunteers mostly find registration process easy.
This is the most user-unfriendly program I have ever used. They have two separate admin portals, one that doesn't work, and the other is the most confusing admin portal I have ever seen.

So we use VolunteerLocal to coordinate with our volunteers on different service projects and different events in the local area. And so, this allows us to seamlessly contact our other users very easily through text messages and email. That kind of thing. In a streamline fashion, we're able to use VolunteerLocal to update users, volunteers with their hours. And so, they're able to check on their end using either the mobile app or online very easily. How many hours they've accrued over the time. So that's a great way to keep check on hours for many different purposes. So I've noticed on the online platform, there have been a few compatibility issues. The app works fine, but on the web platform, on the online platform, it doesn't work very smoothly. So I think VolunteerLocal could improve on some of those glitches that happen in their online platform.
