Gabrielle F.: My name is Gabrielle and I'm a grants coordinator for a medical research company. I give SurveyMonkey Apply a four out of five. Before we decided to go with SurveyMonkey Apply, we considered a number of different products. The product we started with was FluidReview, and while that was an excellent program, we were aware that it was closing and wanted to branch out and see what our opportunities were, and what our options were. We looked at Blackbaud Grantmakers for quite a while, as we use Blackbaud software in other parts of our business, such as Raiser's Edge. And while it did seem like a great program, the reviews we read were not that supportive. And the main reason we would've chosen them is because of the integration with Raiser's Edge and Blackbaud Grantmakers, and this was software that hadn't been developed yet for that program. So it was not ideal for us and SurveyMonkey Apply did have the options to tether and connect Raiser's Edge to the software, which was a big plus for us. We chose SurveyMonkey Apply for a couple of different reasons. We'd had a pretty positive experience with FluidReview in the past and were happy to stick with the company if the new program was right. And we were also very keen to integrate our Raiser's Edge platform with our new grant making platform, and SurveyMonkey Apply offers that, which was a big plus for us. We also really enjoy the report making features in the program, it helps us provide the right information in our board reports and also collect data on all our applicants and successful applicants. Getting started with SurveyMonkey Apply was actually a really positive process. We had a couple of meetings with people from SurveyMonkey Apply to go through pretty much every single feature, and we could ask any questions we had and just generally talk through the product. We then also had some overlap time between our previous product and SurveyMonkey Apply, which was provided by them, which allowed us to switch over any information and also just compare the products to make sure it was right for us. We received a lot of support in that time and it really paid off, and I think helped us maximize our use of SurveyMonkey Apply in the end. I would tell anyone who was considering getting SurveyMonkey Apply to really explore your options, but ultimately if you're looking for a customizable grant platform that can allow you to gather data in a really streamlined and customizable way, to go for it. It's great to speak to the staff at SurveyMonkey Apply as much as possible, ask as many questions as you need to, and really take advantage of their opportunities for education in the program, as it really pays off at the end of the day and just helps you use the program to its full capacity.
