Like many ERPs, the user interface has lots of things that users will ignore or IT has to hide. If you have a weird process that isn't the norm in the industry, it will take more work to implement it.
Overall, IFS is a powerful system with a great deal of functionality. It is fairly easy to use, and to customize to specific company and user requirements.
Nothing is easily updated or changed and options in a drop down (or list of values) cannot ever be archived. No workflows exist in the system and permissions setup is a complete nightmare.
We have had a great experience with support and the navigation thru the software, its very user friendly and the staff is awesome.
I feel that the list of Actions and components should have the option of being typed in due to the vagueness of where certian breakdowns have to be categorized due to lack of choices.
Amazing API documentation with clearly defined FFDs and descriptions. Tech Support is among the best and quickest I've experienced in my nearly 40 years in IT.
At times the updates causes in house tem members pain. Not all users get notified that updates will be happening or have occurred.
I like that the platform is easy to use and navigate. Most of the page's functions are end user friendly and the ease of workflow is intuitive.
I have not run across anything yet that I'm displeased with.
