Volunteer scheduling solution for non-profit organizations, schools, churches, businesses, & more – helps with event schedules, availability checks, spot confirmations, automated reminders & more.
Logical functionality, most bang for the buck, superb customer service, ease of reporting, simplicity of gift upload, great synchronization with other vendors (Constant Contact and We Pay).
There are so many other features that could be included that would make this star star product but sadly they are missing.
Generous free trial period, helpful initial startup pointers, intuitive and easy to set up and use, fast and robust reporting, secure cloud hosting, great value.
The UI is probably the worst thing about it. It has a very out-dated look compared to a lot of newer website applications.
It is also flexible so that you can easily customize it to work for your own context. Their customer support is amazing; it is personal and responsive.
All the questions and problems I have had have been dealt with via their knowledge base, online training documentation and videos and their periodic online group training sessions.
The program is very mature and has almost every feature that you would need as a non-profit. There is good documentation and support is excellent from LGL.
This is in part due to a multi-audience setup and limit on the number of available contacts in Mail Chimp - which is a problem with Mail Chimp and not entirely due to LGL.
My students' parents really liked it, too. They liked the fact they didn't have to create an account, and how easy it was to sign up for several things, including bringing celebration day items.
I had trouble with managing the slots when a parent emailed me about a needed change.
It did everything I wanted, had great customer support, and followed up afterwards to make sure my experience experience was positive and productive. Seems like a great product to me.
It was a little difficult to figure out at first. It notified me that the invitation had been sent, but it did not always let me know when a parent signed up.
I loved how user friendly this was and catered to individuals. The format and options are perfect and seemed to almost be customized.
This can be confusing to some users and some others don't want to receive such things.
We are in the process of renewing our subscription so that we can continue to use the program for all of our events this year. Thank you for providing a very useful and affordable product.
I use it ass a tool for my Troops I'm in Charge of.
Ellie B: My name is Ellie. I am the Director of Development and Operations. I give Little Green Light, a three from a scale of one to five. For more ratings like this, please click below. Before Little Green Light, we had an Excel spreadsheet, which is a really unprofessional way to keep donor data. So there was no way to track movement or to add comments in a sensible way. We chose Little Green Light because it is one of the most affordable CRMs on the market. And a lot of nonprofits had recommended the program to us to use. Transferring data from a spreadsheet to a CRM is always a little challenging, but once we got the data into Little Green Light, it wasn't terribly difficult to learn. And I found the customer support really helpful. If you are considering Little Green Light, my recommendation's to you are to use the integrations to the fullest, so that may include Constant Contact or Stripe. Having those third-party applications connected to your database will make your life a lot easier.
Betty: Hi. My name is Betty and I'm the coordinator for All Saints Bingo in my little small community, I decided to use SignUp.com to help make it easy for volunteers to sign up for our fundraiser. It's been working really good and that is why I give them five stars. I'll be honest with you, SignUp.com is the first one I tried and the reason I tried it is someone else in our faith community recommended them because they used them for another event. And I just started using them and I haven't switched because I've been happy, I am just so happy that we have something like this available because previously to get our volunteers to work for our fundraiser, I was calling each person individually to get them on the schedule. So to get them educated to use an online service was a little bit of a challenge. Some of them are a little bit more senior, but once you get them on the program, it's a godsend. And what a help to me. I really appreciate it. I was fortunate. I had someone that had used it and they helped me set up the first time using the service. Now we've done it for three years, and I guess the key factor is to get that QR code out there to your volunteers, making sure that they know how to use it, keep encouraging them to use it, and in the end it works quite well. If you're thinking about using this type of service, talk to a few people. I'm a big believer in calling someone that is using something and getting their recommendation, asking a lot of questions. That's very, very helpful. I do it all the time when I'm trying to plan something. So if you can look at some type of recommendations, some kind of reviews, I'm sure they'll be very helpful.
