Very robust and can handle anything. This software has a nice GUI that is easy to navigate and reporting results is very clean.
That makes user have to resort to other design software such as Solidworks etc. When I get an error, I can hardly find the reason for this error.
Ansys' adaptive mesh refinement does an outstanding job of meshing the geometry automatically which is great for a first pass analysis.

If it is opened in autocad, nothing can be edited, but there is no notification to indicate that it was created in inventor and can only be edited there.
In my case being a professional of iNGENIERIA IS OF GREAT BENEFIT BECAUSE Inventor is updated (with the help of users in Inventor Ideas) and improves with each new version.
Its PRICEY, and it doesn't run on MacOS. That said, it is professional grade and you get what you pay for.
Andrew: My name is Andrew. I work as an administrative assistant. I give Autodesk Inventor a five. For more views, click below. I used some sort of... I did use a sketching software before Autodesk Inventor, but that was so far back in high school I forgot its name. But since I started Autodesk Inventor, I haven't gone back. I chose Inventor because of the variety of tools they use like Extrude tool, IDW format and IPT format. And it was just an endless possibility list that they gave me. It was pretty easy getting started with Inventor mainly because I had prior knowledge of Autodesk to begin with. So it was pretty easy to get started on it. I would say that beware of its cost because as good as Inventor is, it's definitely something you're going to have to break the bank little just to get, unless you're in a corporate company using it.
