This is a close second and exceeds Litmos in the price arena. My business partner is new to all of this and she hit the road running and is rapidly grasping how the system works. It has taken us a month to build 7 quizzes and one complete training with a quiz. Yes, we could have knocked it out in a few days but alas we have newhire training and other responsibilities that preempt getting new up to date material completed. We have pitched their LMS to our upper management and albeit it is going to take some time to gain approval because while we embrace change not everyone does. For now, The ISpring Suite give us what we need to enhance the way we train. Support is phenomenal, yeah it may take a day for them to get back to you but they always have a solution or work around. Other companies take days to get back to you, I give HUGE kudos to all their support team. Pros The simplicity of the program and the power it harnesses. It is simply to use if you are familiar with powerpoint. The AI is put together well and all the features are well rounded so putting together a training doesn't take forever. The quiz builder is stellar. Cons Frankly there is not anything to dislike. Sure there are some features that would be nice but I have confidence they will continue to get better and better. There is an update every week or two so they are always working to make it better. The local build from PowerPoint slides produces a good result and I have just tried putting a Facilitator Guide through the iSpring AI cloud to produce the related training. I am impressed with the result. Of course, I want to edit it, add activities and reviews but it was a great start. Pros I had to produce training material really quickly and for that this software is perfect. It is easy to produce acceptable training material in a very short time. The customer support is very responsive and immediate. As I learnt more about the product my original perception of limitation changed. Because it is based in PowerPoint - and we all know the crimes that have been committed in that product - it took me awhile to explore the other tools. The text to voice library is great. I found a natural sounding Australian accent which is really important for my audience. Videos are easy to produce and edit just remember to save them as iSpring projects so you can edit them in subsequent releases. Cons Did not realise that if I created videos outside of iSpring I would not be able to edit them later. Other than that, nothing bad to say about this product. When I tried to learn from the videos, they were either outdated or just missing information. I enrolled in a very economical fast course to work with their new training feature to create a scrollable course, and find the feature handy and the course was worth the time and money. Pros I like the ease of use--if you know how to use PowerPoint, it is an easy upskill to add iSpring. It produces SCORM packages with capabilities very similar to Captivate, without the messiness I encountered with Captivate (It required much more technical knowledge, and the new version was not backward compatible, so I lost the ability to edit all of my old courses). Their customer support is quick and helpful, and it provides great value for the money for my one-person training department. Cons I did have to hunt pretty diligently to track down a few errors I initially encountered (my company did not want to use the cloud creation option, so all module creation needs to live on my hard drive while creating it). I was able to ultimately resolve those errors. Customer support is helpful, and while community-building features are more limited, the platform is a strong choice for creating professional e-learning content efficiently. Pros The biggest advantage is its ease of use and seamless PowerPoint integration. It makes course creation quick and straightforward, while the interactive learning, quiz, and video tools help create engaging content without advanced technical skills. I also find the AI features useful for speeding up content development. Overall, it offers good value for money and helpful customer support. Cons The main downside is that some advanced course-creation and interactive learning features take time to master. The PowerPoint-based workflow is easy to use, but can feel limiting for highly customized content. I’d also like to see more community-building features and continued improvements to the AI and video tools. Overall, though, the value for money and ease of use make these minor drawbacks. It makes it relatively quick to create professional e-learning content, and the presenter-video format is particularly useful for the way we deliver courses. However, repeated technical issues have reduced my confidence in the platform, and reliability remains the main area I would like to see improved. Pros The course player is one of iSpring Suite’s strongest features. I particularly like being able to display presenter video alongside traditional PowerPoint slides, as it creates a more engaging learning experience without losing the familiarity of PowerPoint. I still have not found another authoring tool that presents video and slide content together quite as effectively. Cons The main weakness is reliability. I have experienced recurring technical issues, including problems working with OneDrive and inconsistencies in how courses display or behave on mobile devices. These problems can be frustrating and time-consuming, particularly when maintaining a large catalogue of course content.
